this is typically our go-to for subs since it is easy to get in and out of. the cheese steaks and meatball subs are consistently good, and occasionally get a turkey sub. we only got the 12'' oven gold turkey sub this weekend. it was more like a lettuce sub with 2 slices of turkey on it, and the turkey did not seem all that fresh. and something is a miss with pricing. chowhound does not charge a fee, but seems like the website is $15.75, chowhound shows $17, and the order was actually $18. something has been a miss this summer. might have to give it a rest for a bit. read more

Apparently the ticket machine quit printing out order tickets. Our was one of them. You would think when staff noticed that some numbers were skipped they would investigate. NO I had to ask what happened to our order and was told about the issue. I handed our ticket to sandwich maker and he gave me this excuse. Whatever. Only took 20 minutes to get a sub made. They really load the sandwich up with meat and toppings. They also sell an array of olive oil, pasta and pizzelle. Alright so I am a lover of Italian subs and not many places hits my tastes bud fully. Jersey Mikes is pretty good for a small chain but this place really knows how to make my mouth water before, during, and after I eat one of their Italian subs. It's located near the outlets but kinda by itself in one of those small shopping centers. One of the rare places where I just wanna say just go and stop reading my review. But....this app has a message at the bottom that encourages you to write a longer review and then congratulates you when you do. I guess I like that my app gives me that pat on the back and finds value in my words and says, "Oh yeah! That's how Elites do it" Damn you Yelp App!! Now back to bidness. So what's so good about the Italian sub that makes it better than others? They put in the perfect amount of Italian meat and it's not so bunched and rolled up into a stack of meat that overwhelms the sandwich. You gotta toss in the lettuce tomatoes and the best part is the sweet and hot peppers!! Oil and vinegar of course is added but the highlight is the peppers. Not only that, you got a bread that is soft and chewy (right amount of chew) that completes this masterpiece. I usually like hot subs but this is the ONLY cold sub I will ever get. I also tried the steak and cheese and that was just okay. Man I gotta stop this review now or I have to drive there now! The Good: - Italian sub with everything on it. They get 2 stars because their fries are very good. Other than that not much good to say. For some reason my dad loves the cheesesteaks here. He is older in age so his judgement is waaaay off base on this one. On our last night of vacation we decided to order from Casapulla's. My wife and I got a chicken cheesesteak. Very disappointing... there was literally one tiny slice of chip chicken in the sandwich. Ordered it with mushroom and I counted 2. Ridiculous. Now I'm starving and need to find something to eat. We decided to stop here on our way to the beach and man were we not disappointed. We got the roasted Turkey, which they roast in house. It was really good, and not dry at all which isnt uncommon for roasted Turkey breast. I got the Italian with prosciutto on it, and it was absolutely phenomenal! One of the few times I think I've actually had too much meat! Absolutely delicious though. Highly recommend stopping in if you're on your way to the beach, or in town for any reason. read more

I entered Casapulla's, which was hidden behind the expanding outlet malls that the locals call "Midway." The interior was unpresuming and I could not gather any information from the establishment through the visual appeal, or lack thereof. I ordered a large veggie sub with all the veggies and all the dressings. This sub/grinder/hoagie was one of the best I've ever had. The roll was incredible , the vegetable selection immense, the dressing application generous, and it's as if the veggies had been tossed in an Italian dressing before they even hit the roll. I was incredibly happy with my decision to stop in for a bite. The restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms, the staff was pleasant, and as always I enjoy talking with locals outside to see what their thoughts are. You can learn a lot about an establishment by candid conversations with the locals. Nothing but great reviews, not a snide comment anywhere. All the stars for this gem of a hoagie shop. read more

Casapullas today your owner displayed despicable behavior. My husband came in to pick up an online order and while waiting no one came by while waiting in the pick up line. He asked a gentleman who worked there to confirm he was standing in the correct place for pick up orders, the gentleman said yes. When my husband said to him I've been standing her for some time, the gentleman said "WE'RE BUSY" and he walked away. My husband was not pleased with that comment and behavior and asked for a Manager. The manager came by and my husband explained what happened and the manager said that gentleman gave the wrong answer and also said the gentleman was THE OWNER. Pretty disgusting that this is how the owner spoke to a customer and who has been a recurring customer for decades. If this is how Casapullas treats their customers then they need some training real fast. We have to say previously the workers there haven't always been kind and being busy no matter what time of day it is is absolutely no excuse!!!!! Plus the owner of all people set the standards and his standards seem to pretty damn low!!!! read more
