My recent experience at Cava left much to be desired. Despite high expectations, the reality fell short on multiple fronts. Firstly, the restaurant was out of several key ingredients, severely limiting menu options. This lack of availability was not adequately communicated beforehand, leading to frustration and disappointment. Furthermore, the staff's demeanor was notably rude and unaccommodating. Instead of offering solutions or alternatives, they seemed indifferent to our concerns, which greatly detracted from the overall dining experience. Adding insult to injury, the prices were exorbitant for what was ultimately a subpar meal. It's unacceptable to charge premium prices for a meal that lacks both quality and variety. Moreover, the cleanliness of the restaurant was questionable. From dirty tables to unattended messes, the overall atmosphere was far from inviting. In conclusion, Cava failed to deliver on multiple fronts. With its combination of limited ingredients, poor customer service, overpriced menu, and lackluster cleanliness, I cannot recommend this establishment to others. When I say CHEF'S KISS, i am referring to the chefs at Cava on 145 Alps Rd, Athens, GA 30606 USA (platonically of course). I have been to several establishments on Alps Rd, but cava is home. the water is the same water they give you in the TSA line in heaven, and the bowls are the ones they feed you once you check in at the front desk with mary magdalane. and deedee, I'm convinced is the second coming of Jesus, but in the form of a sweet amazing nurturing manager that cares about her customers. anyways, 10/10 reccomend. read more

I met a couple of friends here for lunch, and we were pleasantly surprised by how many great ingredient choices there are and how flavorful everything tasted (in my opinion, sometimes chain restaurants can have a kind of bland sameness to everything, but this was definitely not the case!). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and exhibited some impressive patience, problem solving, and customer service in the midst of experiencing some technical difficulties with the computer system. My friend and I come to Cava every Wednesday evening for dinner and we always have a great experience. The food is so yummy and well made every time. I love mixing and matching all of the different ingredients. Kevin made my meal and was so kind when he gave me some eggplant on the side because I had never tried it-- he was right, it was delicious. Lets start with how great the staff is especially the morning crew. They are fast and friendly. I always go through the drive thru because I work at the hospital, the young lady that runs that area is amazing. Her name is Jaya, nickname Jay. She is amazing how fast she moves. Jaya among other workers at CAVA deserves a raise. I eat here Monday through Friday and I will remain a loyal customer. CAVA is the best in Athens. read more

I have been to this place countless times. I love their food, and it's always so fresh! Also, their order ahead app is amazing, especially because there is a drive thru specifically for mobile orders. It's so quick! Cava in Athens was such a great lunch! The menu was really descriptive and I was able to customize my food exactly how I wanted. The staff was super helpful in guiding me through all of my choices. Not only was the food delicious but Dede was amazing to come out and check on us and make sure that everything was correct and that we were enjoying our experience! The food so fresh and well prepared, and their variety is unmatched--plus having bowls that are much more unique than other places. Vibe is fantastic and comfy! I've eaten there twice in the past 2 weeks. Both times the service has been great, the food has been fresh, there are a lot of options for gluten-free and vegan diets, and the potions are very generous! Today they had some technical difficulties and handled everything with grace and expediency. I will definitely be frequenting Cava! read more

The most filling and tasty food around town! This is the first restaurant we searched for when we moved to the Athens area! This locations customer service was awesome with T n' T (Tee & Towanna).
