I think this is a great addition to South End. It's a fast and healthy option. There's a parking deck that doesn't charge attached so it's easily accessible. The inside has a modern rustic feel and was very clean with a lot of table available. Theres also some tables outside which seemed like a popular area. I noticed a lot of people customizing orders but since it was my first time I opted for the Chicken and RightRice bowl where the ingredients were preselected. I thought it was great. The chicken had a good flavor and had a great mix of other ingredients like feta, cucumber, hummus and tomato. They also have a good price point. My meal was only $10.50 and was more than enough food. I would order it again and am excited to return! read more

I had the opportunity to eat at Cava on April 3, 2023. This was my first time eating there and I must say I was impressed, the employees were very helpful but the employee who stood out the most was Lamont he took his time to walk me through on how to put my bowl together. I have been to this location twice now and the food is great, but the service is terrible. They are very rude and rush you when you are ordering. The staff gets impatient if you're not 100% sure of what you want. Order for pick up or go to the Park Road location. read more

I've always been a fan of cava food but every single time I go to this south end location the workers are SO rude. They act like it's an inconvenience for you to be there and they rush you through the line. It's never just one time it's every time I have been and I will now never be returning. The juices look like they have been sitting in the containers for about a week as well. I absolutely love Cava ! I was so excited to learn they were opening a new location in Midtown and a location is in South End . Last time I was here at the South End location they didn't make my food right. This time I went and they tried to serve me rotten lettuce with mountains of feta . Looking back now I see I should have taken a picture . But , for how nice of areas these locations are in the least I would expect is consistency . Not only was my lettuce completely rotten and saturated but the onions were old and completely translucent . I went to culinary school and this is just shocking that it would be ok to serve this product. I am highly disappointed in the lack of management and consistency. I absolutely LOVE this place!! It's similar to chipotle style, but Mediterranean food and I adore that. I love a good Mediterranean place. I usually get grains and greens and the spicy lamb meatballs are absolutely delicious. I also love their roasted red pepper hummus! The fact that they have pickled red onions literally makes them my favorite place like ever lol. I recommend the dressing as your sauce! It's so so good! Also their service is amazing. I always get take out and one time my food wasn't ready so they offered me a free tea for having to wait!! So sweet! I tried their beet lemonade and it's so addicting. I had never been to CAVA previously but so for i've been twice in a week. The food is flavorful and the staff and manger are great. They offered to let us sample any items we were unfamiliar with or just wanted to taste. I ordered a grain bowl with chicken and lamb as my protein. Delish! Everything looks and taste super fresh. The restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is comfortable. On my second visit one of the staff members remembered us and was glad that we came back. I had just had a medical procedure done and parked my car and wanted to grab something quick inside. I forgot my mask which was in my car on the other side of Atherton Mill (I assumed they would have some extra disposable ones inside) the employee told me they didn't have any and told me if I went outside she would take my order. So I waited outside patiently, she came outside with a piece of paper and pen and I then asked for her a menu. She rolled her eyes, went inside, brought me a menu and she took my order. She then said someone would be out for my payment. A different employee came out and gave me my total, I tried to give her cash and she then explained that they didn't accept cash and looked at the door as if I was supposed to see a sign (which there wasn't) I then asked when it would be ready because im not supposed to be in the sun for long periods of time. She snarled "it's already ready, I'm just waiting on your payment. " I gave her my card. And she came back with my receipt & bag of food. I apologized for not having a mask and stated I had just had a medical procedure done to my face. And she said "Ew, I would not have done that if I were you." I was so shocked and disappointed with these two girls. I also work in customer service and I would be absolutely appalled that any of my employees would treat customers this way. I can't help but wonder if I wasn't Asian, if they would've treated me with more respect. Not sure how the food was, because I was too afraid to eat it. If they treat customers this way ,I'm not sure what else they are capable of doing. read more

My wife and I stopped by here because we were getting tired of a similar Mediterranean restaurant in Plaza Midwood. We were blown away by the ingredients and quality of the finished products. All the different types of handmade drinks are awesome as well. The overall best part of our experience was the service we got from Andre. He walked us through the ingredients calmly and explained it to us in such an easy manner that made us feel so comfortable. We will definitely be back, worth the drive over from the "other" Mediterranean restaurant. read more
