Let me start off by saying I never write reviews but I had such a pleasant experience here I had to. I was serviced by Josh M. at the Wall Street location . This was my first time here and I'm plant base. He knew the menu without looking at it and even the ingredients in each thing . The food was good. Its a nicer version of Chipotle. Also the comradery between co workers are evident which is why the customer service was great. I watchEd from the side and noticed it was genuine , not forced and like that with everyone. Wast of money and time. Ordered a salad for pick up and got a pathetic excuse for a salad with even more pathetic dressings on the side. When I asked for more and for the pita which I ordered on the side and didn't receive, staff was irritated and rude. This location needs revamping or it will go downhill very quickly. read more

This cava is no different from the others, still gave it a shot. I don't understand what people like about it - the concept is a great idea but the food is just not good. Maybe I just put wrong flavor combinations together but every time I eat cava it tastes extremely bitter and is just dry, despite multiple dips and a sauce. I've heard stories about CAVA offering federal employees sizable discounts, but at this location they don't offer such. Regardless, my office team and I spent a total of $30 between two people and enjoyed the fresh tasting spreads and hearty greens. We stood on the line for 20 minutes and shared our notes with the staff that they could publicize online ordering and perhaps posting lunch specials online. I normally get a salad bowl with arugula and practically every single topping on the menu. The food is delicious but just not plentiful. Trust me when I tell you I don't eat a lot and it takes alot for me to say there isn't enough. For almost 12bucks for lunch I should be stuffed. This HURTS because Cava was my favorite restaurant between 2013 and 2017 in DC. The crazy feta and harissa stole my heart. And I do still buy their packaged hummus at Whole Foods. BUT in August 2019 I went to Cava on Wall Street for the first time since 2017 in DC. I was dang excited. And then within two hours of eating I had extreme food poisoning. The service at this location is awful. I walked out of the store this evening because I was fed up with standing in a line that wasn't moving. I consistently get poor service at this location. The lines always move slow and I usually have to correct the server on my toppings of choice. I consistently get non-friendly vibes from most of the staff as well, which makes absolutely no sense. It's obvious they rushed the opening of this store and did not take the time to properly train the staff. This isn't about CAVA the franchise, which I'm familiar with and like, but the location. The location has staff that just stand around and make both picking up food via the app or going there take way more time than it should. They aren't attentive to the line or tickets that pop up. I'd be ordering here 2-4x/week if they didn't constantly make it annoying/slower than it needs to be to do so. read more

Good food ..perfect as you can choose what you want in your bowl. The combination of soup with a wrap is also good for a meal.
