Large Chicken Noodle Soup/ Andy's Amazing Chocolate Chunk Cookie

If you're in a hurry but seeking a healthy, satisfying meal, Just Salads is an excellent choice. While they offer a variety of flavorful salads, they also serve wraps and delicious soups. Today, we tried the chicken noodle soup, which was excellent, and found the broth to be particularly rich and flavorful. The cookies are also quite enjoyable. The staff was very friendly, and despite the high volume of customers, service was efficient. Decor is simple and clean. There is ample seating available, though most customers tend to order and take their meals to go.

I had suuuuuuch a wonderful salad from this spot!!! I was participating in a challenge to go vegan for a week (very challenging, cannot lie one bit) and I was kind of worried about what kind of foods I'd be able to pick up bc I had a busy week and not much time to cook. Thankfully, Ritual (and Instagram) led me straight to Just Salad. This definitely brought my hopes up for a vegan meal. Through ritual, it gave me a bunch of options to create my own salad and o m g it was really truly delicious. I got the superblend mix, beets, broccoli, the black bean corn cilantro mix, and sweet potatoes. For dressing, I chose lowfat spicy avocado So freakin delicious. Love love love this salad & can't wait to come back

Pretty good bowls at decent prices. I typically customize my own but you can definitely just order off of their menu as well. I customized my own warm bowl and found it to be pretty good. The portion is enough to fill you up and the items are well cooked. I also got a detox cleanse smoothie which was more like a juice. It tasted more watered down than I expected but it was alright. Wouldn't recommend the smoothie, but definitely go for their salads or bowls.

This is the main reason why I get food from here every once in a blue moon, like when they offer the buy one get one free special. That's when I really take advantage. The unique seating area is charming, though limited, and don't get me wrong, the wraps that I've tried so far were delicious! They're just not $14 - $17 delicious lol. The staff here are friendly and seem cool. They make the wraps right in front of you and it's quite a cool process to watch. Each wrap is made from a homemade dough, heated on a hot iron dome and then filled with fresh and one of a kind ingredients. All of the wraps are rich with antioxidants and made with natural ingredients. My favorites: Dire Wolf (fried chicken wrapped in ginger dough, lamb bacon, melted cheddar, green papaya slaw, spicy pickled shika peppers, wolf ketchup) The Beast (grilled steak wrapped in turmeric dough, bbq crunch, blue cheese, marinated green olives, cilantro, red chili mayo) They have opened several locations over the years since I first tried them. Because of their unique wrap concept I can understand why. There's definitely a niche for them in this super tough NYC restaurant business.

Everything there is built around one idea: great ingredients make a great sandwich. Instead of cutting corners, they focus on quality and even make a lot of things themselves to make sure every bite is right. The menu is stacked with favorites. Their chopped cheese is one of the most talked-about sandwiches in the shop, and for good reason. Another standout is the hot roast beef and cheddar--simple, savory, and packed with flavor. They're also proud of their New York-style chicken Caesar wrap, made with romaine, Parmesan, croutons, shredded chicken, and a strong Caesar dressing that ties everything together. It's a short ingredient list, but every part matters. If you want something classic, the Italian hero brings together prosciutto, soppressata, sharp provolone, mozzarella, tomato, red onion, cherry peppers, lettuce, and Italian dressing on toasted bread. The roast beef sandwich is another heavy hitter, layered with their housemade sweet-and-tangy sauce, au jus-dipped roast beef, cheddar sauce, and fried onions. One cool detail: their new pastrami sandwich comes on a custom rye hero made with Breads Bakery, so you still get that classic rye flavor in hero form. Even the way they chop the sandwiches has a purpose--everything gets chopped in a bowl so the ingredients mix together better, giving every bite the same flavor. What I liked most is that the place feels very New York. It's built to honor the classic sandwich shops that came before it while still doing its own thing. The goal is simple: make sandwiches people trust, come back for, and maybe even add to their personal "top ten." And honestly, grabbing a great sandwich there with my son today... mission accomplished.

((4.5 stars)) Sunny…read moreand Annie's is very much a 24/7 neighborhood gem of a corner store and deli. it's packed with packaged foods--candy, chips, cookies, ice cream, soft drinks, beer, and a lot more plus the deli counter serves ups an endless list of creative sandwiches. i am not going to say this place is cramped but it kinda is. for example, if people stand in the wrong areas of the store, it will cause a complete standstill of a traffic jam in the store. my advice: order from the deli (and stand somewhere people aren't trying to get to) or grab whatever you need, pay, and leave. this place is not a place to linger. keep it moving. anyway, the obvious draw of Sunny & Annie's is the endless list of sandwiches that are handwritten cards that are stuck outside glass of the deli counter. there is literally something for the pickiest eaters--from hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, wraps, and more. some sandwiches are named celebrities, politicians, etc. i have ordered a bunch of different sandwiches and have not made it through much of the menu. you can also create your own Frankenstein monster of a sandwich. while the sandwiches are a big part of the draw, the insane amount of snack foods crammed into the store is quite remarkable from the large stand of Doritos, Takis, Cheetos and other popular branded snack foods in the front to the separate stand of Wise snacks to an entire back corner of the store filled with all kinds of chips, popcorn, etc. imo, Sunny's has the freshest-tasting Smartfood Cheddar Popcorn. i know an insane take consider it's a packaged popcorn snack from a megacorp (PepsiCo), but i'll die on this hill. maybe it's cause Sunny's sells a lot of Smartfood popcorn so it gets refreshed often, maybe they have a secret in/pipelinbe from the factory, or it's just magic/alchemy. i don't know, but the Smartfood Cheddar Popcorn never tastes stale-ish like it does at grocery stores, the bags never feel deflated because they have been on shelf long, and the popcorn never has that soft mouthy feel but still has the crunch to it. maybe it's just me, but Sunny's serves a great list of sandwiches...AND the freshest Smartfood Cheddar Popcorn. beyond the snacks, the service from the deli to cashier is upbeat and friendly. in all seriousness, Sunny and Annie's is an Avenue B institution at this point and remains a charming family-owned store--and is NOT a sterile modern clone of a neighborhood business.
