Made in house drinks
DeLisa R.

When I'm looking for something Hardy yet healthy I love to stop in to Cava. You can do build your own bowls and pitas or order from a variety of chef curated ones. For drinks, you can have a variety of Maine sodas, but my favorite drink is the made in house cucumber, lime and mint drink. Ambience is pretty basic. Prices are a bit high for what you get, but the ingredients are fresh.

CAVA Review, Healthy, Flavorful, and Always a Vibe! CAVA has officially claimed its spot as my go to when I want something fast and healthy. Their Build A Bowl setup is perfect for customizing your meal exactly the way you want it, greens, grains, proteins, sauces, the options are endless and always delicious. It's filling, flavorful, and honestly, just a win every time. Now let me put you on real quick... The pita chips? Buttery, flaky, slightly crisp, and completely addictive. I don't know what kind of magic they sprinkle on them, but they complete the bowl experience. I will fight for those chips, respectfully. CAVA is always clean, the service is quick and efficient, and the vibes are just bright and fresh. Whether I'm dining in or taking it to go, I know I'm getting quality. And listen, if you see the new Strawberry Citrus drink at your local CAVA, don't think, just grab it. It's light, refreshing, and the perfect balance of fruity and tart. I wasn't expecting it to be that good, but baby... it's a summer in a cup type of moment. CAVA is more than a meal, it's a staple in my household. Healthy never tasted so good. The garlic dressing is GREAT! 10 out of 10, always a yes.

Best thing I've eaten from a chain in a while! Steak + Harissa bowl with some customizations
Kimmy R.

This is like the Chipotle of Mediterranean food and I'm so here for it! Love all the customizations you can make and all the different choices!! The lamb meatballs were amazing! I added them to my steak + harissa bowl with a small upcharge and totally worth it. Every single element from the pickles to the pickled onions to the red pepper hummus was delicious. I could've drunk the garlic sauce by the glass! I will definitely be back to try a wrap! Bravo Cava!!

Good food the restaurant was a little busy today, so the tables weren't clean or cleared as fast as they usually are but overall a good experience

I love CAVA! But why must you be so skimpy with the sauces? The last two times my size of crazy Feta was smaller than a sample size. Do better!

This place is consistently delicious. The portions are pretty good and the price is fair. The food is super tasty, especially if you mix up the food. Gave it a 4 star because the employees are pretty lazy at times, standing around looking at their phones when 3 of the 6 flavored drinks are empty at 8:15pm, and multiple tables are dirty. Time to replace the dead-beat staff.

This is one of my favorite places to eat! It is a Mediterranean style Chipotle. They have a variety of options to make a delicious bowl or pita. The staff is always super friendly. Everything tastes really fresh and clean. $11 for a delicious bowl with a bunch of toppings and sauces is a great deal.

I had arrived after 9 pm and the employees' customer service was excellent. They were very helpful assisting me with choosing my bowl options. The bowl was very delicious, flavorful, and packed with veggies! I highly recommend this Cava.

Build your own pita wrap!

Always a great experience coming here! They have fast service and the food is always delicious. I definitely recommend you build your own bowl and get whatever you like since sometimes the items on the menu are not the best.

Food was mediocre. I wouldn't pay that much for food that taste like microwave cooked food.

It's always a pleasure to read about a restaurant you haven't tried, go and visit it and discover a…read morenew favorite for future dining excursions. This is the case with Lama Mediterranean Cuisine in The Woodlands. My wife had a doctor's appointment at 2 pm and we live about 35 miles away, I figured go early and get some lunch and then get to the doctor with a full stomach. We put the address into the GPS and pulled right up in front of the restaurant. While it was nice weather outside, we decided to sit indoors and I am glad we did because I noticed some diners outdoors were batting away insects. Our server, Abraham came quickly and took our drink orders while we studied the menu and admired the beautifully decorated interior of the restaurant. Blue is a strong color they have used effectively, there is a large dinging room for a big group just off the main dining room and a bar at the far west end. We ordered some appetizers and they came out quickly, We had a small order (4 pieces) of the Fried Hallumi Cheese and also Kebbeh. Both came with a small sampling of cucumber, tomato and red onion which paired well. The Kebbeh had the most fragrant seasoning, I believe a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and clove. The serving sizes were ample and after trying some we both agreed to save room for the entrees we ordered, my wife had the Gyro Sandwich and I had the Chicken Shawerma, both were wrapped in a super fresh pita that had to be house made. My wife had the regular fries and I had sweet potato which were cooked perfectly, so light and crisp. We couldn't resist ordering some baklava to go, my wife thought walnut sounded good but our server said he felt the cashew was the best so we ordered that. When he brought it out, he said that there were 2 pieces of the cashew but he also added one of walnut at no charge, what a treat. We will be coming back here, the restaurant overall was super fresh and clean, service was great and the food was fantastic.

I finally visited this Greek/Mediterranean/Persian restaurant on a Sunday for lunch to see why it's…read morerated so high. Inside is elegant and well decorated with glass tables and large rugs everywhere. Looking at the menu, it's a mix of various cuisines, but they do separate out the Persian dishes which are somewhat similar to Mediterranean ones just cost a little more and have different spices altogether. If you visit on weekend nights, you'll likely get to see belly dancing here. I settled on the chicken shawarma wrap, even though it costs a few dollars more than the chicken pita. It does come with one side for $21,and I chose French fries. It tasted pretty good, but you do have to get used to the pickles which gives the wrap an overall weird taste. These are not your typical pickles which go well with American fried chicken sandwiches. A Mexican tortilla is used as a wrap here instead of the bread they use for wraps in other Mediterranean restaurants in Houston. If I wanted a chicken burrito, i would have dined at a Mexican restaurant. The fries are previously frozen ones and lightly seasoned and really only decent when hot. Unfortunately this is one of those restaurants which takes care of newly seated guests and large parties but ignores the tables of 1. Not my fault I only have one in my party. They seated me in the corner and another gentleman came about 20 mins after me and I never saw a waitress go to his table after being served his entree either. The chef or kitchen hand is the one who brings out the entree from the kitchen here and my waitress never showed up until they try to take your plate away. However, I was still eating and also waiting for 10 mins on a refill. I can only eat so much before needing to take a sip of a liquid...but if you come with a party of one here..you will likely be waiting awhile. The lady taking my plate wasn't even my waitress either. Meanwhile, for the gentleman sitting outside alone, I observed his drink to be empty a while and they weren't refilling his either. He finally leaves and goes to a cash register to pay. What? A semi-fine dining elegant spot with mandolin playing in the background has a cash register where you have to go up to pay? What is this world coming to? With these prices, they should roll out red carpet from the front door to your table each time you walk in....and surely make the waitress do something for once and take your card and swipe it herself at the cash register which shouldn't be in the middle of the damn room. Sort of defeats the purpose of being elegant. Did I mention the glasses are plastic here too. If they want to be refined, try at least using glasses for drinks.

The food and service were outstanding. They were out of doner when we arrived, but honestly, everything else we tried more than made up for it. Within about 10 minutes, the restaurant was pretty packed, so we clearly just arrived at the perfect time. We started with a bread basket served with fresh breads and an incredible tomato oil--simple, bold, and completely addictive. We had falafel with a creamy sauce (possibly yogurt or garlic-based) and stuffed grape leaves with olive oil, both beautifully done. Every dish came with fresh lettuce, lemon, thinly sliced onions that had clearly been soaked to remove the harsh bite, and a bright pickled cabbage that tied everything together perfectly. We also had lahmacun, which was deeply flavorful and incredibly satisfying. We were treated to complimentary Turkish tea and a meatless dish on the house, and I have to say--if you don't eat meat, you are not missing out on flavor at all. I grew up a meat eater, so I was genuinely surprised by how rich and delicious it was. I only wish I remembered the name so I could order it again. And then dessert... kunefe. Crispy shredded pastry, warm cheese, pistachios--easily one of the top 10 dishes I've ever eaten in my life. I usually hate mint in food, but two of the dishes included it and completely changed my mind--fresh, balanced, and done right. This place is a true hidden gem and one of my favorite dining experiences. I will absolutely be back, even if it's out of the way. Highly recommend.
