My 3rd time here and not once did I remember to leave a review but my pictures stayed. This time the dining room above was under construction so we were seated downstairs. Both of our servers made this a memorable experience for both my brother and his wife. It was their first time trying caviar beside the roe at sushi restaurants which is vastly different than sturgeon family. For the quality of food it is worth every penny in my eyes. Everything was prepared to perfection and tasted amazing. The caviar butter with freshly baked rolls don't get any better. Loved the caviar spread with the savory crapes and Yukon gold potatoes. Can't wait to make it a 4th visit as this place is just too awesome! Can't wait to see the dining room too.

Everything was perfect. This may be one of my new favorite places in NYC! We had a reservation for five people on a Sat afternoon. My one gf sat at the plush blue velvet seats at the bar before we arrived. Once we arrived, we were escorted to our beautiful, comfortable table front and center in their downstairs lounge. We started with a bottle of champagne (when in Rome, right?) The GM is a sommelier, so he was happy to walk us through the champagne menu. After that, we ordered some caviar for the table and the crispy rice. The service was impeccable. Friendly, hospitable and on top of their A game! After awhile, we ordered another bottle of champagne and tried some other small apps - the milk bread (amazing), the duck croquettes, caviar baked potatoes and the golden egg (one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten)! For dessert we had some of the Madeleine's along with the tarte au chocolat. Everything was outstanding! We had the chance to see the upstairs dining room too- absolutely stunning! Can't wait to check out their Miami location!

did a walk in on a friday evening with my family as they were in town for the holidays after wanting to try this spot for so long. the service was immediately on their game as soon as we walked into the door we sat in their lounge area and ordered a la carte. we did a caviar sampler and a few sides and honestly this was a lot of food. the caviar sampler came with three 25 oz caviars - we loved the pacific sturgeon the most. all the little bites were so good to pair with - my favorite being the potato but my family really enjoyed the toast and bellini as well. the apps were spectacular as well - the toro cone was such a good bite i didnt want to eat anything after this to leave the flavors in my mouth!! the potato came out warm so after it cooled down it was devine - i think my favorite way to eat caviar is with a potato! 100/10 recommend - i want to come back for their prefix

We knew what we were getting into, going to a caviar restaurant and ordering a bottle of illuminated Dom. The service was top notch and everyone was very knowledgeable and willing to go out of their way to meet some of our unique requests. Outside of the silly bottle of champagne, we've experienced a lot of caviar in our time, and it just wasn't worth the price. Their serving sizes seemed a bit short of what you'd receive with a typical caviar service. There were some unique accoutrements and additional menu items that were a nice surprise and all well-executed. Overall, it was a fun stop on our trip that we're happy we did but probably wouldn't do again.

This was an incredible experience. We ate in the bar not upstairs on the restaurant. The mini hand roll papers were hand made- absolutely delicious when you crunch into it. We had a scoop of the caviar ostera on an ivory spoon and served on bone china. We also tried the CAVIAR BAKED POTATOES Marble Potatoes, Chives, Pomme Purée, SMOKED SALMON withBlinis, Crème Fraîche. The waitstaff was very informative and nice. Total was about 159 per person. I will definitely be back.

I came here for lunch and ate in their lounge/bar. I love caviar so I wanted to stop here while in NYC. It was fun to directly compare different types and see which I liked best. We started off with the classic caviar service which included 25g each of classic osetra, siberian sturgeon, and pacific sturgeon. My favorite was the osetra. We also got some other items from the menu such as the rock crab cornets, caviar baked potatoes, bluefin tuna bao buns, and "the golden egg". The caviar baked potatoes were insanely good and I could not get enough of the spicy bluefin tuna bao buns, they were the best bao buns that i've ever had! I really enjoyed each item that I had here, even though we ate in the lounge and didn't get a tasting menu the service was great and the food was all Michelin quality. They even gave me some madelines since we were in NY celebrating my birthday!

I really like this place and have experience incredibly warm and hospitable service here. Caveat - I've only sat in the bar lounge but it can be a casual relaxed experience on a Sunday afternoon or it can take on more of a vibe at night complete with DJ. The caviar here is fantastic with all the accoutrements-love the potato slices and the warm blinis. Oysters and sashimi is also on point. The also have incredible pastries too. Note that this place is pricey so expect to hit the bank a little hard.

A must for caviar lovers.... It's a luxurious experience with top-to-top feel and a menu to boot. We are upstairs for a small and cozy dining experience...but you can also sit at the bar or go to the lounge in the back-all on the first floor.

Our entire experience was amazing. The staff were super helpful, kind and knowledgeable. They recommended dishes to us as well as what made sense for a caviar tasting. We ordered a bottle of champagne (a must), shared one of their tastings and it was enough for 2 people. We added a few side dishes as well and were graciously gifted dessert. The space itself is beautifully decorated. Fun place to host a girls meals or group dinner as well as a date night. A splurge but if you like caviar, it's a fantastic place to dine.

I went for caviar and dirty martinis at the bar on Easter Sunday. If you are a fan of these things and like an upscale establishment, this is the place for you. Service was also top notch.

Do you love caviar? Do you not care about spending thousands of dollars on dinner? If so, this is the place for you. We came here back in April for the grand tasting menu and at almost $1000 per person before tax tip or alcohol (other than a glass of Dom to start), it is one of the most expensive meals in the city. Everything we had was delicious, starting from the caviar by the spoon in the lounge downstairs and the bites to the meal in the dining room, we enjoyed it all. Other than the foie gras everything else was fish or vegetables so if you prefer meats, then you may want to monitor their menu - I believe it changes.

Hip yet romantic setting for one of the most over-the-top splurge meals you can find in the Manhattan. Vodka flights were extraordinary. This is a place where, if you are so inclined, you will learn whether there is a such thing as too much caviar. A+ service, setting, menu variety.

The ambiance is relaxing with dimmed lights and beautiful paintings on the walls. Not loud or too dark, perfect for date night. The wine selection was great; we had a bottle and half of Ruinart, which was great as always. We did the 6-course Chef's Choice Tasting for $595 per person, including Caviar Service as the first course, and every single thing that came out was amazing, complex, and unlike anything we've had before. At that price, I wanted to make jokes at how obnoxiously high-brow the food was or how small the plates were, but it was all really incredible. Our total bill came out to around $1,700 before tip. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend for a very special date night.

Both failed epically. The bone marrow was inedible as it was like cold custard. Escargot had zero flavor and a real lack of garlic and good butter. Tasted more like vegetable oil than good butter. We shared the lobster pasta entree. Tasted more like Mexican goulash. No Italian flavors to be found in the sauce. Never once did the nameless waiter stop and inquire about our meal. Just all around a poor experience and a disappointing Friday night. There are far better places that appreciate your patronage. We will not be coming back. Not worth it.

Ambiance: This place has a nice ambiance, definitely very "New York" -- dark (you can't see how dirty the floor is) and loud music (maybe too loud). We sat upstairs (we had a reservation) and of all the people on the top there was a party of 4 (us), a party of 8 (all dudes celebrating something) and the rest of the tables were on a DATE - which I thought was funny. Service: We were served by Ann-Marie who was so delightful. She was kind, super nice, and took the time to speak to us (which is basically how we figured out she wasn't a native New York City person). She gave us good food suggestions and we were very happy with our selection. Food: Here is what we ordered * Steak Frites: My two boys got the steak frites and I have to say the steak was awesome! I had a bite of each of theirs and they each ordered it differently (one Medium Rare/Medium and one Medium) and they both were prepared PERFECTLY. The fries were overflowing. * Caeser Salad with Salmon: My wife got the salad with Salmon (they only have a few salad options) and she enjoyed it. * Prawn and Crab Risotto: I got this and I have to say it was VERY bland. I wouldn't get this if you are looking for taste. I had to put salt and pepper on it to make it have any semblance of taste. Value/Price: I would say this is not over priced but it is not cheap either...bill is attached. I would recommend it to folks who are looking for a good place to either go out on a date or a family type meal.

We reserved for a quick bite at Redeye Grill before catching Dog Day Afternoon on Broadway, but as soon as we walked up, some bouncer told us they were closed for a private wedding reception. We were dazed and confused because how was I able to reserve online? But the real plot twist was that it ended up being the best thing that happened. We actually stumbled into Tanner Smith's thinking it'd be the typical, boring bar-food spot. Nope. They first sat us at a hi-top by the door, but that wasn't our vibe, so we grabbed seats at the bar instead. Best decision. Our bartender, Josiah, was absolutely killing it. My cocktail had passion fruit, so of course I asked my usual question: "But is it real passion fruit?" He just nodded in agreement and that told me everything I needed to know. That drink was legit and had nice strength. The food was great too. The buttermilk tenders is supposed to come with pickled shallots and marinated green beans. We didn't get the pickled shallots or the marinated green beans, which was a shame. The chicken tenders by themselves didn't have much flavor. It also is unfortunate paying $17 for what was considered a small plate and just getting the chicken tenders. The Asian-sesame wings were okay. Also, didn't have much flavor and weren't that impressive. There was also still hair on some of the pieces of chicken, so the chicken could have been cleaned better. They have fries and hand cut fries. The regular fries were soggy. Should have went with the hand cut fries. The tater tots were okay. I was told that the chicken sandwich was good. It came with a little side of rustic chips. I would not come back for the food but I would possibly go back to try a drink if I was in the area. The drink menu looked pretty good.

The bread was fluffy and not dry, which I had seen previous reviews say before. Paired with the creamy truffle butter, it had a luxurious mouthfeel. My favorite was the pork chop (cognac, sweet prunes, bacon, rosemary) -- the sweet and soft texture of the prune was melted in my mouth like fat, and the pork was tender, with the rosemary also coming through. The vodka rigatoni was a skip, somewhat bland and one-note, we ended up putting some of the truffle butter and garlic aioli from the fries to make it more flavorful. This was especially in contrast with the spicy shrimp pasta which was much tastier. Also got the strawberry vacherin (strawberry ice cream, meringue, vanilla whipped cream), it was my first time having this dessert. The tartness of the strawberry was great with the fluffy meringue and the sweet ice cream. Service was extremely attentive, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated with moody lighting. I went on a Thursday night, and the place was absolutely packed. The front feels more like a bar/casual area, while the dining room is tucked toward the back. My reservation was at 10:15 PM, so I actually had a light dinner beforehand and ordered a little lighter than I normally would. I got: - Truffle Monkey Bread ($34.99) - Prime Rib French Dip ($39.99) - Pommes Frites ($13.99) - Banana Split Sundae ($24.99) I thought the prices were definitely on the higher end when I first sat down, but the Truffle Monkey Bread is divine! Honestly, it's probably in my top 3 bread experiences of my life. If you love truffle, butter, cheese, and basically everything good in life, please get this. It comes out slightly warm and is just incredible. I will probably dream about this bread. The French Dip was good, although it was a little too salty for me. If I get the chance to come back, I'd probably try one of their actual steaks instead. The pommes frites were super crispy, basically McDonald's fries but elevated. The Banana Split Sundae was so pretty. I loved how they placed all the little treats around the crevices/imprints of the dish (not sure how else to describe it ). It's huge, though, so definitely don't expect to finish it yourself. I'd recommend sharing it with 3+ people. I was also celebrating an anniversary, and they brought out a strawberry scoop for us. It tasted homemade and really fresh. I could actually see pieces of strawberry in it, which I loved. The restaurant is definitely on the pricier side, and getting a dinner reservation can be a struggle, but I'd absolutely go again if I got the chance. The decor is cozy and upscale, the food was excellent, and the whole place has a really nice atmosphere. My only real complaint was that our waitress kept pushing us to order more, which got a little annoying, especially since we had already ordered quite a bit. Overall: expensive + difficult reservation, but absolutely worth trying. And please get the truffle monkey bread.

Only thing I wasn't crazy about was the corn gelato. Just didn't taste like much and the peaches I found didn't really play well with the dish for me. Overall though, service was top notch and you can't beat the upscale vibe. Would definitely recommend this for restaurant week experiences if you're looking to get a fine dining taste at a reduced cost. Portions felt reasonable for the quality and left full (far from bursting, but definitely not hungry at all).

The hostess was welcoming, our waitress was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and the support staff kept everything running smoothly throughout the evening. We took several of our server's recommendations and were happy with every one. What we ordered: * Butter Service Garni * Dressed Big Rock Oysters * Yellowtail Crudo * Filet Mignon with Pommes Purée * Nutella Opéra Cake Everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly, the pommes purée were rich and incredibly smooth, and the Nutella Opéra Cake was the perfect way to end the meal. The only thing I'd mention is that the restrooms are located down a fairly long flight of stairs. If you're wearing heels, have a stroller, or have mobility limitations, it's something to be aware of. Overall, this was a fantastic experience with excellent food, attentive service, and a beautiful atmosphere. I'd gladly return and would recommend Quality Bistro to anyone looking for an upscale French dining experience.

We started with the kale salad (although it seemed more like spinach than kale), and it was still fresh and delicious. The tomato burrata was outstanding--definitely a must-order! I had the steak frites, which was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the French onion burger, and after trying a bite, I already know that's what I'll be ordering next time--it was incredible! The cocktails were made perfectly, and to finish, we shared the lemon ice cream cake. It was light, refreshing, and not overly sweet--the perfect ending to a great meal. Everything from the food to the drinks and exceptional service made this a wonderful dining experience. We had such a great time and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Thanks to my fellow Yelpers, I was lead to this great spot for a late dinner and cocktails on a Friday night. The hostess was really friendly and quicky sat us at a two seater near the bar, which we appreciated. The ambiance was light and friendly and they even had a DJ playing all the good jams! I think I danced a bit, (definitely liquid courage). The DJ read the room and created a fun ambiance. The waitress came over a few minutes later and quickly took our drink and meal order. We ordered the Tuna Crispy Rice ( Yum), Guinness Wager Sliders (Nom Nom), Korean Chicken Boas (My Favorite!) and Carnitas Tacos.....I'm embarrassed to admit that we cleaned our plates like a couple of savages. Bartley Dunnes is a great choice to come solo, meet up with friends or come as a group of no more than 4, unless you make a reservation. They have a second floor that I unfortunately didn't get a chance to check out, so I can't write about that. However, I did see people coming and going straight up. I'll be back!

They have a great happy hour running from open until 8 PM, including $6 beers and $8 cocktails, which is a great deal for the area. ordered the Bartleys Spritz (Aperol Spritz) and a Tequila Mule. We sat at the bar, which runs about half the length of the space, and there were also plenty of tables throughout. The back section of the bar feels a bit separated from the main entrance area. There are some TVs throughout, and everything inside seemed fairly new and well maintained. It was not very crowded on a Tuesday early evening, so service was quick and the staff was very friendly. We did not order food this time, but everything coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled great. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot for happy hour drinks in the MoMA/Midtown West area.
