    Breakfast

Very friendly service and solid breakfast food. Everything we had was good with the exception of the biscuits which felt very dry. The French toast combo was perfect: French toast, eggs and bacon or sausage. You can get a half or full order of French toast. The chicken fried steak was good, but the gravy was a little bland. I still enjoyed the meal. FYI: If you are a fan of antiques, there's a wonderful antique shop in the same parking lot that opens at 10 am.

My friends and I had such an amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed and taken care of. Our waiter Cameron was absolutely the best. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole breakfast even more enjoyable. He really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food was incredibly fresh, delicious, and came out quickly. You can really taste the quality in every bite. Everything we ordered was amazing, we came TWICE during our 2 day trip. Great service, great atmosphere, and great food. We will definitely be coming back. If you get Cameron as your waiter, you're in great hands!

We love coming here for breakfast whenever we are up in Lake Arrowhead. All the staff is so friendly it really feels like they put their thought and care into their customer service. The restaurant gives that small town diner feel so you know it feels homey. Food is good you get big portions. This time we had the country combo and we split it and even with us splitting it we couldn't finish. So you definitely get your moneys worth with a plate here. Sunday's they have muffins so definitely get one if you happen to eat here in Sunday. Yummy food for a spot in the mountains they're usually hard to find but this is a gem.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a picture of our food but everything was amazing. Service was great. Our coffee cups never went empty. Our server checked in on us but not too much where you'd always get caught mid bite. The food itself was good and flavorful. The place wasn't too loud as it was still a little early. But it's a diner, I can see it being a little loud which I'm fine with. It was a bit darker but it added a nice vibe to the place. If in the area again we will definitely be coming back. We're big breakfast people and this place was everything we wanted and more !

Wow! This place is amazing! My husband and I came here because it's one of the few places in town that is open before 11 on a weekday and it did not disappoint. My husband got the steak and eggs and I got the tuna salad. Both were big portions and great pricing. We also got the zucchini fries, they are a must. They were freshly cut and freshly deep fried. We also got a fruit salad and it was all fresh and good quality. The service was good and fast. The ambiance is mountain cafe, super cute and warm. I highly recommend this place, it's by far one of the best places in town for fresh and good ingredients. They also serve wine, beer, and champagne!

Service continues to be wonderful. The teas are unique and flavorful. Food has not changed. Delicious and freshly made to order. Servers are kind and restaurant was clean. Love this place and will continue to return here. Hours are 7a-2p.

Still on of the mountain's best little diners - just gotta account for the early closing time.

Great spot at the lake. There was a wait when we got there for brunch, but it was well worth it! Here's where you can get some great home style eats in a small-town vibe kind of place! Highly recommend.

We had already waited about 45 minutes and were second on the waiting list when everything basically came to a stop. What made it worse was the attitude from the woman working up front. Instead of being understanding or communicating clearly with customers who had already been waiting, she came across as rude and dismissive. Meanwhile, other surrounding businesses were already back up and running. Unexpected outages happen, but a busy restaurant should have some type of backup plan or process for situations like this, especially when customers have already been waiting that long. We were looking forward to eating here, but the lack of preparation and customer service made the experience extremely disappointing.

This was hands down one of the best burgers and malts I've ever had. The burger was fresh, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. Every bite tasted like it was made with care instead of rushed out of the kitchen. Then came the malt, thick, creamy, and packed with flavor. It was the perfect classic pairing with an already incredible burger. One of the coolest touches is how they name many of their burgers after classic cars. It's a fun, nostalgic theme that fits the old-school malt shop atmosphere and gives the menu a personality you don't see very often. The kids meal was adorable and came in a cardboard 50 style car. If you're gonna order the macaroni and cheese, just be aware that it takes a little longer to cook compared to everything else, but it comes out hot. However, the noodles are slightly overcooked. The fish and chips are made with cod and I highly recommend. Very crispy and hot. You get three fairly generous pieces per order. The thing that really makes this place shine are there milkshakes and malts. We offered to upgrade the kids beverage to a peanut butter chocolate milkshake for a very affordable price and served as dessert for the whole table. This place is no-frills, but very family friendly. There were lots of families there. For napkins, they had a giant roll of paper towels on every table. The bathrooms were fairly clean.

I also started off with the French Onion Soup and that too was great, it was a bit saltier than most versions I have back home, but still I liked it. The soup du jour was a creamy caramelized onion soup which was decadent and so good. For my entree I got the seafood pot which I liked but wasn't obsessed with.
