When a place calls itself Central Park NY Pizza then we as New Yorkers in LA have a duty to investigate. We walked in with low expectations. We thought no way this hole in the wall joint at a batting cage can be any good. We were shocked at how wrong we were. This pizza is spot on. One of the best places in Burbank and certainly joins the list of great NY style places in LA. We found out that the original owner was a New York Italian and his recipe is still being used. Also they make the dough fresh in house. The crust is flavorful and has that correct snap. This is a fold and eat slice like it should be.

My boyfriend works at the batcade and so we are usually eating at central park pizza at least once a week. The food is consistently really good and service is friendly. I don't buy pizza from anywhere else anymore!

Central Park has been my pizza spot for 20 years and I'm still so happy every time I order. Their pizzas are always fresh and crispy with plenty of toppings and the perfect amounts of sauce and cheese. After moving back to LA from the east coast, I can definitely say this is the closest to NY style I've found (dare I say maybe better)! The friendly staff and owner who always make us feel welcomed is a great plus. The hole in the wall style when I pick up inside the Batcade definitely gives a genuine NYC experience.

Good nyc style pizza. Used to come here every now and then before the pandemic. Decided to give it another try. Crust and cheese where on point but the ingredients and sauce lacked some seasoning. Even the pesto was bland, which is a really hard thing to do. Head scratcher lol. Kind of disappointed. Maybe I'll give it another try down the line but I'll just stick with pepperoni and cheese.

This is easily my favorite pizza spot in Burbank. The World Series pizza is in a world of its own. Go for it. Go now.

Last time I order from this place. ****Response to the snarky comment from the pizza boy below: 2nd time I order today with hopes I get the correct pizza--I ordered a Texas and an Armenian. You sent me a Texas and a sad, lonely cheese pizza like I asked for disappointment with extra crust. I had to go through the hassle of getting a refund from Uber Eats just to maybe get the right thing this time. Amazing. But you know what's really sad? You reaching out, not to own the mistake or fix anything, but to get defensive. Like, that's your move? Not "sorry we messed up," but "let me double down on being clueless." Iconic. If this is your idea of customer service, I genuinely hope your business thrives--in the same way Blockbuster did. Keep it up. You're one wrong order away from becoming a cautionary tale. ********* 2nd response: Looks like I struck a nerve. Also, the sarcasm going over your head is all I needed to know pizza boy.. Parking was a bit tricky to find because the restaurant is at the street corner and there is no designated parking lot. We tried to find parking in the alley area, but those are designated for another restaurant, so we got lucky and a street parking spot opened up on Alameda. The restaurant has a couple tables inside and some tables in their outside patio. The tables inside are bar height. We were greeted with menus right away and was told the pastas weren't currently available. We ordered two of their pizzas, Pazza pizza and Prosciutto pizza, and two of their salads, Caesar and Antipasto. I really enjoyed the salads and the prosciutto pizza. The Pazaa pizza was good too but the cheese was very filling for me. If you love cheese, you have to try the Pazza. Ingredients are all very fresh! I would recommend ordering ahead of time because the pizzas did take awhile to make and bake, but luckily they had TV on so we watched TV while waiting. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely order takeout from here.

My better half and I have been to the Studio City location, but it was our first time at the Burbank one. There's street parking all around but it's not mission impossible in these parts. Inside is not too big but not too small (just right!). You order at the counter and they bring the pizza to you. We ordered the Pepperoni Ultimo (pepperoni, green bell peppers, pineapple, buffalo sauce) along some Mexican cokes. It took a bit for the pizza to be ready, but anything worth doing is worth doing right. The pizza is definitely on the doughier side, so if that's how you enjoy you zza this is the place to be. Lucifer's Pizza is pretty damn good, so if you're around and feeling like a slice, give them a shot!

Other reviewers have commented that the pizza is very "doughy," but I love that. It has a perfect crispy/chewy consistency and thickness, I think. I've ordered delivery a few times and the pizza is so freshly made that you had to hold each slice to keep the ingredients from sliding off. My fave pizza is the Zucha, which has pumpkin, olives, feta, zucchini, red bell pepper, and spinach. I know it's a little bit of a weird pizza and for parties, I'll usually order just a personal Zucha for myself and anyone who wants to try along with the more crowd-pleasing pizzas. But I love unique menu items and this combo is just so delicious together. Lucifer's is just a tad pricey to be our usual pizza go-to, but I always look forward to ordering from here.

Original review: I went here a few times and found the food to be good, mainly the wings. Sadly that is not the case anymore. It seems the quality for their wings have nose-dived in quality. The pictured wings are raw. On top of this, when I picked up my food no one assisted me for almost 10 minutes and there was just this rude employee staring at me through the kitchen area. It's a shame that this place has tanked in food quality but also service. I was going to bring my out of state friend here to give her review on this food but now I don't think I will ever return. Lastly, the owner has no problem shoving his beliefs down our throats with the flag hung up outside. Making food political is cringe. Worshipping a felon like Jesus is also anti-christian.

First off, the slices are huge, so you definitely get your money's worth. For the Detroit style, we ordered the Combo Americano because I wanted to feel a little healthier with the bell peppers and mushrooms. The thick, airy crust was crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, and loaded with toppings. For the New York style, we went with the Wise Guy, and I'm not gonna lie--it might be the best pizza I've ever had. I don't know if it was the sausage with its subtle sweetness or the finishing drizzle, but every bite had this light sweet-savory balance that was incredibly addictive. The crust was thin with just the right amount of chew, and the flavors came together perfectly. If you think pizza is just pizza, Slice House might change your mind.

This pizza was their recommended slice to get, but I wasn't a really big fan of their crust thickness cause it was a bit dry. I'm not sure if was because the crust was a bit harder.
