Stopped by ceviche ria for lunch in the woodlands during my drive back to Dallas. I originally wanted to try their ceviche but I wanted to leave Houston before traffic got bad, and ceviche probably would be too messy in the car. I got the shrimp burrito, which included lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, avocado, garlic cream, chipotle mayo, and beans. They also provide some salted tortilla chips and salsa. The burrito was HUGEEE, literally the size of a brick, and felt like it too. I thought it was just ok though, not bad, not life changing.

What an incredible little ceviche place!! I love ceviche but having a shrimp allergy it is very hard to find somewhere that has doesn't have it all together. Loved walking in and finding that you can create your own. You can have white fish, octopus, shrimp or tuna individually or all together. Absolutely delicious!!! You put in and take out mango, onions, spicy or not spicy, cilantro, cucumbers and jicama. Yall absolutely delicious!! We will be back!! I will say next time I'm asking for some plantains to go with and some extra avocado! We will be back on Wednesday for more!!

This place is easy to find, it's off to the side with plenty of parking. The people working were very friendly and explained the whole menu to us very well. There was a bit of Spanish music which I loved , wasn't too loud and it was joyful, almost like a Saturday afternoon at home. The food was delicious and will definitely be going back regularly!(: Great first experience, thank you!

Firstly, I picked up my order, but, the restaurant was clean and the workers were very polite. Now, I ordered the Ceviche with shrimp, Loaded corn with Hot Cheetos, and a Classic Horchata. Everything came out so good! The Ceviche was not spicy, so if you like spicy, I recommend adding extra peppers. The Loaded corn, I added chipotle mayo - best decision. Also, the horchata is definitely homemade, and they have an option to add different toppings. Definitely recommend trying this restaurant.

Friendly, helpful staff and wonderful ceviche! Portions were large enough to have some to take home.

I finally visited here after having this spot on my radar for a few weeks. For anyone that grew up…read moreor previously lived in SoCal or Baja Mexico, this is a much provided relief from the usual tex-mex cuisine in the Houston area. I chose 3 specialty tacos, the Mar Y Tierra, Baja Shrimp and the Ensenada. I was hoping to find Baja style tacos as great as the ones I used to eat regularly in San Diego. So does this place live up to the hype? Mar y Tierra - the first taco I tried and it was really great. Very colorful as far as presentation. Lots of steak chunks and I loved the thickness of the homemade corn tortilla. 5/5 Baja Shrimp - this was good as well, but pretty standard and not on the same level as the other two. 3/5 Ensenada - comes with 2 tortillas to accommodate the large piece of fried fish, really good taco as well. Maybe breading was slightly on the salty side. Seemed to be beer-battered. 4/5 I also added a fountain drink. During my visit their sodas were down 2 options, no coke and no iced tea. They did have horchata and jamaica flavored drinks on their fountain machine, so I wasn't too upset about the lack of iced tea. I ended up getting the Jamaica drink. The service here was not the best, especially the unfriendly cashier, but aside from all that, I came for the food, not to make friends. You order at the counter, find a seat, get some sauces and garnishes from the salsa bar (mainly for take out customers), and they will bring the food out to you. The ambiance is okay. They have an end cap in the shopping center so the space has plenty of natural light. Decor is black, white and then colorful with a couple of blue and red accent walls. Chair cusions are also colorful, along with colorful flowers at each table and colorful art work. They also have an Instagram worthy wall for those interested. Their chairs and tables are lacquered and a little worn. Not sure if they're supposed to be like that or not. They do have 6 beers on tap and have 4 different bottled beers too...so they really are true to their name; however, I didn't order any.

I do wish the burrito had rice in it, but I'll know next time. Be sure to get some of the green salsa from the salsa bar. It's delicious with a good kick. I'll definitely be back

The previous dining experience before this one, was not good, but I didn't post about it. I was really hoping it was a one time issue. The chips were so greasy you feared eating them for getting sick. The manager acknowledged how bad they were, and said they had an issue with the supplier. He said rather than not serve chips, they decided to serve them. They were inedible. Also the once delicious salsa has gotten watery. After my food arrived, I sent the taco back because the shell was the same as the chips. So greasy and the taco poured grease out of it. This last trip, the chips were better, but still very greasy and tasteless. The nachos I had would be about the quality of Chilis. No refried beans. Most restaurants layer refried beans, cheese and meat for SIX almost $20 dollar nachos. The chicken fajita meat was dry, and the beef was not good. A few bites were not edible. Another note- The once delicious tortillas were super thick and gummy. The manager came by and I explained everything to him . He didn't have much to say and didn't really seem concerned... other than taking off $2 of the bill. Which I do appreciate! It's still a beautiful restaurant, just sadly the food has changed too much for it be a top place for me.
