Nice relaxing atmosphere to dine. Lovely date night spot. Very well cared for by many of the staff from the hostess to the evening manager clearing our dishes. Miguel was informative and attentive. Tho Mecican isn't their specialty the Enchilada plate was good. Flat bread pizza was a bit doughy and hard to hold as finger food. But tasty and seasoned well. Good presentation. Nice light chips for salsa and Queso. An enjoyable evening overall

Hostess want too happy to be there. Service from Casey was great however. We say in a booth in bar area. Nice to grab a quick bite after Xmas shopping at Best Buy next door. I'd see alot of people who work in this area eating lunch here. Variety of food from ribs, burgers, salad, sandwiches to Mexican. I heard their chicken enchiladas were good so ordered them & they came out real quick!! The chicken was seasoned well & the avocado sauce went well as I ordered a side of it, however the tortillas were a bit chewy so I mainly ate the chicken. Not much chicken in it either so the tortillas would've been overwhelming. It was a lite meal for me. Nothing special just something to get me through the Xmas shopping long day. I'd come back to try something else if in the same type of situation, but not going out of my way to.

I Finally joined my coworkers for lunch at Charleston's on Dodge and I totally get why they always want to go here now. This was my first time, and it was a great experience. I went with the **Grilled Chicken & Avocado Club** (pretty sure that's the chicken club I ordered), and wow - the portions are massive! It came loaded with blackened chicken, avocado, bacon, tomato, sprouts, Swiss cheese, and honey-mustard on a toasted bun, plus a generous side of fries. The sandwich was so big and filling that I could only eat half - perfect for leftovers later. The food was solid and tasty, everything felt fresh, and the fries were crispy. Service stood out too: our server was super friendly, checked in regularly without hovering, and kept things moving smoothly during a busy lunch rush. Nice atmosphere for a work lunch - casual but polished. No wonder my coworkers come here all the time. Definitely coming back! Recommended for anyone looking for hearty American classics in Omaha.

This restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. Our server, Curtis, was great -- he was timely with taking our order and refilling water glasses while also giving helpful information about the menu. Most importantly, the food was totally delicious. My wife had the Prime Rib Special which included a fully-loaded baked potato and Caesar salad. All were prepared perfectly! I had the Chicken Fried Chicken which came with smashed potatoes and sweet glazed carrots. Each of the flavors as well as the presentation were top notch! Both of us would definitely order those same items again. I highly recommend Charleston's -- it was a special night out.

We had lunch here today as we waited for our power to come back on! Charleston's has been on point our past few times here, today was no different. Our waitress, Megan/Meghan was extremely personable and patient. She answered all of our questions and provided excellent service. Our food was fresh and delicious! The restaurant was quiet; however, a group of 3 ladies were seated directly behind outr table and theu were loud. I asked if we could move and they accommodated our request without it being an issue. We will be back...soon!

Another great meal here today. First time trying the dynamite shrimp salad. I'll get again. Service was great too. Big fan of this place.

Charleston's is a semi-fancy eatery, that is pretty upscale feeling, but can still be a place you can stop in for dinner (usually without a reservation). The interior is classy, with black and white art, and black booths with mahogany wood. It has a vaguely nautical theme, with a little penguin statue in the corner and a model of the RMS Titanic, etc. The service has always been excellent - our server last time we went was Alexis, and she was great with refills, recommendations, and checking on us just enough throughout the meal. We started with the Caesar Salad and it's gigantic (my husband and I shared it). It was perfectly dressed with the Caesar dressing and parmesan cheese to create amazing combinations with each bite. We also had their dinner rolls, which are semi-sweet. Not the level of sweetness as the Texas Roadhouse rolls, but a touch under that. They were served warm with really creamy butter. I almost always get the Fish and Chips, which are extra flaky, and they pair amazingly with the tartar sauce. Another thing I love to get once in a while is the Chicken Piccata - so tasty and tangy. My favorite side to get is the creamed corn. It's not super creamy like other creamed corns I've had but it has a nice little cream at the bottom, so you just need to mix up to get it all creamed together. Always check out their daly specials too. We had the steak tips special last time we went, that came in a wine reduction that was so rich and delicious. With the upscale ambiance, amazing service, and enjoyable food, Charleston's is great place for a date night, business lunch, or just a good dinner option any time.

I've been to Charleston's out west dozens of times, but this was my first time at their dodge location. Overall, my friend and I had a great experience, coming at 7:30 on a weeknight. It was pretty slow. Our server was good, mentioned a couple times that he was bored and that's why he was checking on us. Not in a bad way, he was just having fun, and provided great service! I got the salad that I get every single time, and it tasted amazing! I do feel it was a bit smaller than the ones I have had out west. Unfortunately, there were no dates on my salad, so this must have been forgotten in the kitchen. All in all, I would go to the West location over this one again. The staff was very friendly, and overall it was a good experience, but I have always gotten a very consistent result in the size and taste of the salad I get every time out West.

The food is always great here. I've never had a bad meal. Their house vinaigrette is to die for. And those flaky honey croissants... I always order extra! I tried a margarita for the first time here and it was honestly one of the best I've ever had. The addition of a green olive to the margarita it was a game changer.

Love Charlestons so much. Good taste fresh and delicious. I got the steak, mashed potatoes and creamed corn. My husband says the corn could have more cream but I thought it was good. It's also freshly cut from the cob and bought from Nebraska so you know it's good corn. Our waitress was also really great! The atmosphere in this new location was perfect. Obviously people are loud at restaurants but the space feels more spacious then their location they had before. It feel similar but new and fresh.

Everything was just okay. Service was a bit on the slower side even though it was not busy. They were very nice and pleasant. Flatbread was delicious. I would've gotten a whole flatbread just for myself if I knew it was going to be that good. Drinks didn't receive great comments at the table. A member of the party came here yesterday and raved about the cocktails and food but found out it was a different bartender today so the drinks were different. Overall: rave reviews about the queso, flatbread, and pork chop

They definitely have/had some pretty high prices compared to other eateries in the area. I'm not sure if that is caused by cost of goods or location or what, but I think that did come into play when a lot of economic hardship is happening all over. Like I mentioned above, I DID like their food, but it definitely had to be a special occasion type of thing, due to the high prices. When we did go, I LOVED the Maryland Crab Dip. It reminded me of my favorite crab dip in the world, at the SweetWater Brewing Company in Atlanta. We also had the Green Bean Almandine that was on special last time we went and that was pretty good, but you have to be a green bean fan, for sure. I decided to try the sushi as my main dish last time, and had the Everything Crunch Maki, which consisted of cooked salmon, jalapeño, and cream cheese. It was pretty good, and had a little hint of spice to it from the jalapeño, which cut the heavy cream aspect. My husband had the Grilled Atlantic Salmon for his entree, and gave me a few bites. It was cooked well and the mushroom risotto below it was very flavorful and filling. The cute nautical ambiance and excellent service were always appreciated, so no complaints there either. I think if they had been in a different area with less expensive rent and cost of goods, I may have visited more often.

Honestly, we weren't that... impressed, but we gave it a valiant go on both meals chosen! Kinda bummed there wasn't a drink menu with cocktails, but they had a great selection of wine ranging from $100-$500 a bottle. So, we stuck with water. Bread and creamy butter was dropped off while we waited and who can't resist a warm roll? Got the Trail Boss Prime Rib, with salad bar, and baked potato side was requested as medium. The au ju lacked flavor, and only lasted a few bites before not used at all. The baked potato was delish though! Prime rib was very tender, a lot of cap which was nice, but it was just sorta.. average. I snagged their Teriyaki Tenderloin Kabob on a bed of wild rice, salad bar, and asparagus side (probably the first restaurant I've seen that's offered asparagus as an actual side), requested well done. By all accounts it does look a bit charred, but when the veggies were pulled apart, they were warm and tender and paired well with the teriyaki and rice. That rice was delish! Asparagus didn't blow any air up my skirt unfortunately, because I really wanted it to blow my mind. I felt like we left a lot of food on our plates, but that could've just been how it was. We just felt... underwhelmed and wasn't picking up on all the hype.

Friendly service, comfy setting, and oh yeah - the food! Unfortunately for me, there is too much seafood on the menu but there's always something. People rave about the seafood dishes so I'll trust them and say it must be good. I'm just not into it. On this visit, we each ordered a cocktail. I decided to try the lemon martini which I never order and OH MY GOODNESS. It was awesome! They nailed it. The limoncello brought it home. My dining partner had a dirty martini and was satisfied as well. We enjoyed a Spezia salad which featured mixed greens, prosciutto, tomato, Kalamata olives, and a house vinaigrette. It all combined so well. The lettuce was wonderfully fresh, no need to pick out rotting leaves like some places. The dressing was simply light and delish. We shared a plate of spaghetti. You get several options to add to it. The grilled spicy Italian sausage sounded good. I'm not sure which was better. The sausage or the marinara sauce. Both were soooooo good!! The sausage was truly grilled and spicy and just amazing, and it was not greasy either. The marinara sauce challenged my own that I make at home. We devoured that plate of spaghetti which was big enough to share. I forgot to take a picture as it was served so I am sharing a tight shot of half the order after we divided it.

Spezia, you let me down!…read more Our waiter struggled to keep up with the dinner rush. We arrived for our reservation and were seated at 6:40 where we weren't greeted by our waiter for quite awhile. It took a long time to get our drinks and I had to ask for bread so we decided to skip appetizers and go straight to our entree. When ordering the entree our waiter said "and which salad would you like?" And then listed the salad options. Normally when ordering a main and the waiter says which salad do you want that's because the salad comes with the meal. Nope. We were charged $11 per salad that we didn't even really want. The salads were your average side salad, but thankfully had good dressings. We hadn't brought up salads, the waiter did when we ordered our entree. So we were disappointed to have $20+ in salads that we didn't request until the waiter offered them. Our salads were finished for at least 15 minutes before our main entree came out at about 7:30, nearly an hour after we had been seated. My shrimp scampi was good, the broccolini was a touch under cooked but the flavors were still good, and the shrimp was surprisingly large in size and cooked exactly how it should be. Had we been served quicker and not offered things that didn't come with our meal when ordering our meal we may have been happier, hard to say. The table next to us was sat about 10 minute after us and had a different waitress. They received their entire meal (including bread & apps) and left before we were offered dessert. The food is good, I won't discredit that at all. But when coming to a restaurant like this you are expecting a level of service that we just didn't get. I'm sure we'll try again in the future and if service is better I will definitely update my review but for now, this was a let down of a birthday dinner.

The food offered there is the full menu, so we started with some onion rings to nosh on while drinking. Those onion rings were very interesting, with a thicker dough-style breading, they were very good. Next was to sit down for dinner and I apologize for forgetting our server's name, but he's been there about 15 years and he was great! Hoped I didn't get sick. Unpleasant texture. Not mixed tableside, we mixed the raw egg into the dish ourselves. Three steaks were severely undercooked. My steak (bone in filet special) was MR, I asked for MW. It tasted as if it was marinated low quality beef, chewy, difficult to cut, (yes, this filet was not easy to cut with a quality steak knife), odd texture. colleagues steak was basically raw (appeared bloody red)--he'd requested MR, sent it back to kitchen twice! Another colleagues steak was very Rare. Steaks were really disappointing as was the preparation. Our party of five was surprised when the steak was returned still undercooked. Considering the quality of my bone in filet steak and the undercooked steaks, I won't return to this location. There's a kitchen issue that needs to be resolved and the manager when that steak was recooked for second time should have observed it was still very rare when he delivered it because our table of five all did. Less than stellar experience due to the subpar beef tartare and steaks.
