This was a mistake we will never make again. Ordered king crab legs. They came to the table COLD and had very soft shells. Obviously they were previously frozen and barely defrosted before they were plated. And $60 as market price. We also paid $40 for 3 scallops and 3 shrimp with 1/4 cup rice and 1/2 cup cooked cabbage and bok choy. Also their sizzling mushrooms were burnt. Do not waste your time or money there. read more

Denny's does it better. First impression: We showed up ten minutes before our reservation time, and spent most of that time standing at the entry kiosk while the young hostess repeatedly failed to find our name on her computer screen and repeatedly asked if the reservation could have been made in another name. Finally, an older and more experienced woman showed up and immediately pointed out our name on the screen. Score minus one for training new staff. We hadn't remembered that it was 5280 week, when restaurants in the Denver area typically offer good deals on their best dishes to impress new customers. We both ordered off the 5280 menu. We also ordered the "kimchee calamari", which was listed on the 5280 menu as a five-dollar extra charge. When we placed our order, our server explained that there had been a "printing error", and the additional charge would be seven dollars, not five. Brilliant. Someone makes a proofreading error and, instead of just writing off the extra two bucks in profit (or, at the very least, scratching out the "5" and writing in "7" on the simple paper flyer that lists the 5280 menu), you instruct all your servers to tell the guests that the dish will cost two dollars more than it says on the menu. Score another minus one for management stupidity. The calamari, when it came, was cooked perfectly. What looked on arrival like a huge pile of calamari turned out to be a dozen or so pieces of actual squid and a large base of puffy white noodles (or were they styrofoam? - they were just as tasteless and obviously meant just to make the serving look bigger). I ordered the coconut shrimp, and my date had the salmon. Both arrived with a great flourish - apparently, one of their big gimmicks is to gather all hands on deck to bring all the dishes to the table at the same time. Both dishes were so overcooked as to be virtually inedible. The shrimp, especially, had spent so long in the deep fryer that they probably had squatters rights. We had a bottle of wine with dinner. All of the alcohol is ridiculously overpriced, but we've come to expect that. There are few restaurants left in Denver that are content with charging twice what a bottle of wine would cost at a retail liquor store, and the Chart House is no exception. I estimate their markup on wine at about 500 percent. What's really obnoxious, though, is the massive tome of "specialty drinks" that they plunk down on the table and the obvious fact that the wait staff have been ordered to "push-push-PUSH!" the drinks with the highest profit margins. If it weren't such an obvious ploy to milk every possible dollar out of the well-heeled demographic that lives in the neighborhood, it would be laughable. For desert, I had the creme brulee and my date had the mud pie. The creme brulee was a thick, heavy paste with an industrial-looking crust on top. The flavor was decent, but the texture and presentation were on a par with what you'd expect in the cafeteria at a Ford assembly plant. The mud pie was huge, meant to impress, but unfortunately frozen solid in the middle. The regular menu prices will take your breath away. 37 bucks for a piece of tuna, 29 for a simple shrimp pasta, 39.50 for a New York Strip. You've got to admire the corporate owners of this place for their chutzpah. Never have so many paid so much for so little quality. In summary, our server was pleasant and professional, but in all other respects I was simply amazed that any restaurant could manage to do so many things wrong in so many ways, and get away with charging such high prices while doing it. read more

The halibut 'featured special' was simply a menu item (Baja style) with an upcharge of asparagus. We were not asked what temp we wanted the fish (at nearly $50 per plate) and the fish was overdone. The asparagus was huge, at $1.00 per spear, but wasn't cleaned well and very woody. Only half of the portion was edible. The salad bar was out of Caesar salad. The oysters and charred octopus were delicious, as was the lobster bisque. The filet was more medium than medium rare, as requested. We will be back, but expect a little more care to be taken with the details from the kitchen for that price. read more

Been to the Chart House several instances over the last several years. We dinned last Sunday pm. Hate to say- food was plain. Nothing special and very salty. Panco Salmon was dry and over cooked. Mashed Potatoes were cold.. Soup was bland, thin, and cold. Salad Bar seemed not to be the same- lacking several items. Mostly just veg. Dressings were tasteless and too thick. Services was slow. Server took a long time to bring water at beginning of meal and all dishes were slow cooing out. ( note -we were an early reservation just after opening). Also- soup was forgotten. We skipped dessert as the meal was lasting over 2 hrs. . Until I learn improvements have been made- we will not be returning. read more

If the entrees here cost $15-20 instead of closer to $30, I'd give another star. But if dinner for two is gonna cost me $100, (without wine) then it'd better be pretty close to flawless. We started with the crab-stuffed mushrooms, which were very generously stuffed. They were OK. Then I had New England clam chowder, which was OK. My honey got the lobster bisque, soup he constantly craves. "Sherry laced" warned the menu. I think it meant to say "Sherry based." Inedible. The waiter took it off the bill. Then came the entrees: the man got Shrimp Fresca. Shrimp were good but way too many tomatoes in the pasta. I got Dynamite Mahi Mahi, which I could barely eat. The sauce was just not right. A bit of a kick, in a rich cream sauce: the chef should eat some Indian cuisine to see how cream and spice SHOULD go together. The rice pilaf was too salty. Also, the Coke was flat and too heavy on the syrup. Ambiance: easy listening jazz. The lights were so dim I left with a headache from eye strain, trying to look at my hot guy from across the table. I was the youngest person in the restaurant, with the exception of the staff. It all made me think: if you like "Smooth Jazz 104.3" and bland, heavy food and you have plenty of money laying around, and are 60 or above -- this place was made for you. There's supposedly a great view, but we sat on the parking lot side. I dared not venture to the other side of the restaurant because a) we were packed in there like sardines, and b) it was so dark I never would have found my way back. Chili's quality food, dressed up in savory sauces, accompanied with robotic service. each server said the exact same thing to every table; I suspect they were reciting a script. there was an overall lack of love and sincerity oozing from every corner of the building. this was not surprising as I saw management scold and humiliate servers on two different occasions, right in the middle of the dining room! on the bright side, the outdoor seating was gorgeous, and the service was less scripted and, consequently, more genuine. also, the happy hour prices were much more tolerable. we should have stayed there instead of going inside when our table was ready. food is decent, but no where near worth the price. Let's go to Table 6 or Potager and spend less money! this is not a bad stop on the way up or down the mountain, but only if you sit outside for the view and a snack - and only during happy hour. read more

This was a "Special Occasion" dinner for two. We called ahead and made reservations, although it became obvious they were unnecessary since the restaurant was nearly empty. Nevertheless, we were first offered a non-window-facing, non-booth, middle-of-the-room table, despite the fact that nearly every other table was, and remained for the entire length of our visit, empty. We had to ASK to sit in a comfortable, window-facing booth. One of the man reasons that customers choose a Chart House restaurant is because of the unique views at each one. So- this was unacceptable. From the moment we sat, there was an alarm sound / buzzing going off behind us. We inquired about it to the server, and her reply was "Oh, yeah, it's stuck. We called management, they said we have to leave it." Well. It's not exactly classical music, and it was there the entire length of our dinner. Again: Unacceptable. Both of us opted for the Salad Bar with our entrees, since the Chart House Salad Bar has been a tradition for both of us dating back 20 years. I'm sad to say that the unattended salad bar, with its' wilted 'caesar' salad, depleted selections, and dirty plates was also a severe disappointment to us. As was the fact that employees began "packing it up" while we were standing right there! And it was nowhere NEAR closing time! Again: Unacceptable. The meals: The prime rib was pink... on one side. The other was thoroughly brown... and had been ordered Rare. We had to ask twice for horseradish, butter and sour cream for the baked potato, and also for a drink refill. The scallops dish was overly salty, and a watery brown sauce sogged on the bottom of the plate. The rice couldn't even absorb the overly salted palette, and was lacking in any "coconut ginger" flavor touted on the menu. Also: Each scallop was cooked differently, one was nearly raw, one was so overdone it was actually chewy. Now THAT takes talent! When you are paying nearly $30 for an entree, this is AGAIN: Unacceptable. Naturally, we chose to forego dessert and hightail it out of there. ZERO STARS! Last weekend my brother-in-law had his wedding reception at The Chart House in Genesee, CO. I was apalled by the poor service. This is a high priced seafood restaurant that was staffed by teenaged waiters that knew nothing about the fish, cooking methods or wine. We ordered several bottles of red and white wine for the table. At one point a waitress tried to take a full bottle of Chardonnay away. I spotted her and stopped her. I asked her where she was taking it, and she said, "oops, this one is full." I'm not talking a little left -- it was tip-top full -- untouched, and a $55 bottle at that! At the end of the meal, the manager came around handing out 10% off coupons for "any restaurant in the Landry's restaurant family." His demeanor could not have been more wooden or cold. He was invisible for the entire evening, in spite of the fact that we dropped thousands of dollars that night -- and it was a wedding dinner. Save the cheezy marketing for the casual diners. A party of 20 at a wedding dinner does not want coupons. My wife had a lobster dish that I would have expected from Red Lobster, not a classy place with these menu prices. I had blackened halibut. It was totally dry. The sides were not creative. The desserts were no better than Betty Crocker. I'm really surprised. People must eat here for the view, it's not the food or the service. read more

Unrelentingly awful...honestly. Once a bastion of decent modern American seafood in the Denver foothills, the Chart House now looks more like a Red Lobster...without the delicious cheddar biscuits or friendly service. Maybe the Chart House will eventually serve the same fate as Landry's appears to be nearly complete in ruining another once great dining spot. If you must, come for a happy hour drink then head elsewhere to grab dinner. We had booked Chart House for our annual company holiday party, and had a prix fixe menu. I'll skip the gory details of the majority of the disaster because browsing the other reviews they are covered well. It seems to be no secret that this place has gone way downhill. However, one interesting item of note did occur. We had one steak option on the prix fixe, and several people took this option up. The waiter took our orders and then returned shortly thereafter to inform the steak eaters that they would not be getting their steak cooked to temperature, unless they ordered medium as all steaks were to be served medium only. No exceptions. This is extremely unacceptable at any restaurant, when you take into consideration that the 8oz filet is $32 on the dinner menu it's darn near laughable. It was the point at which I stopped caring knowing that I would never again return If it wasn't our holiday party we would have just left, it was literally that bad. We are still talking about it around the office weeks later. On a more positive note. The views remain superb at Chart House, which was the only reliable part of the meal. read more

We have eaten at the Chart House dozens of times over the past 30 years, and the restaurant has gone down hill for the past 10 of those years and just keeps getting worse!! The Manager was no where to be seen, and I decided not to embarrass my wife by strangling the "chef". What......your cooks clearly do not have the skill sets to cook!! The place was full of drunks chugging down drinks in the bar during happy hour...virtually no one in the restaurant!! Change the name of your restaurant to "Dive Bar of the Rockies"... We will NEVER be back, and I will tell everyone I know both in social media and in my personal circle, what I think about your Restaurant!! Your hostesses are a bunch of stuck up snobs...and could care less about your customers. We held my son's rehearsal dinner at the Chart House and I couldn't have been more pleased! Working with the banquet manager, Jake, was great! He made things so easy and worry free. Everything from planning the menu, to the number of guests changing, to the tables and room setup were handled expertly! The night of the event was amazing! The room was beautiful and intimate. The appetizers were delicious and the buffet fabulous! Jake and his staff were attentive and friendly and made the experience even more special. I've been in the service industry 20+ years and my partner has been a chef 20+ years. Being new to the area, we saw the restaurant listed on the $52.80 deal. On a Friday night we found ourselves in Golden and decided to drive a little further and try the Chart House...a decision I greatly regret. First, I could see if it was warm and we were going to sit on the patio, have a drink, and an app. I might return. I'll never be back for dinner. First, it was freezing. We decided to forego wine and get hot tea. The second we declined the wine, the peppy waitress turned into a bland, unattentive robot. Second, since the meals do not come with salads we decided to get the salad bar. In preparation of a hardy meal, I only one plate and to taste the different items. The $8.95 charge is ridiculous for what they offer. One side is your basic salad bar and the other is an uncreative mix of "salads" and some fresh fruit. For example, there was marinated mushrooms which I think the marinade was just Hidden Valley Zesty Italian dressing. Plus, it is setup at an angle. You have to contort around the glass to get any of the top items. I watched this poor 6+ foot guy just finally give up. Third, the food. We had the crab stuffed mushrooms. It was the most dissapointing stuffed mushroom I've ever had. The crab tasted slightly off and there was no flavor. I had the prime rib which was edible. The mashed potatos were lukewarm at best. The butter wouldn't even melt. What $100/meal for 2restaurant serves cold mashed potatoes? My partner's Sea Bass was still ice cold in the middle. The highlight of the meal - the house dressing on the salad bar and the AuJus for the prime rib. Best part of the evening, getting home and making homemade cinnamon rolls. read more

I'm a server , I know good service when I see it. Don't go here. I especially don't recommend if you have a big party. We were there for 3 hours....4 HOURS!!!!! . We ALL ate our dinner so fast because at that point it was 10pm when our reservation was at 7. After eating ridiculously fast, we had to wait another hour for checks. We watched them start cleaning up, doing silverware, cooks weren't even in wore clothes at that point, oh my god I can seriously go on. Servers were rude, unprofessional..... It took us all standing up at the table for them to finally come and figure who was on whose tab. They even added about $30 extra to our check on stuff we didn't order but at that point we just wanted to leave so we didn't even complain about that. read more

Not terrible but WAY to heavy on the egg and not enough dressing. Now for the clam chowder - that was a winner. My husband got the macadamia crusted mahi which he said was just OK - kinda soggy. The Chart House Restaurant (A Landry's Chain - this location in the foothills above Denver) Blows! That's the short version - long version follows. This isn't bad customer service - just a complete lack of customer service. We had an 8PM reservation and arrived at 8PM. We were told that reservations were running late and we could wait in the bar area. We stood by the bar for over 5 minutes and never were acknowledged by a waitress or bartender. I have never felt unwelcome in a bar/restaurant before but did in this place. The bar was not that busy. We asked a server if we could sit at one of the tables and she said yes. While sitting there waiting multiple wait staff walked past our table multiple times without making eye contact with us. Another group came in - sat right next to us and were served immediately. After 20 minutes we left. I would have liked to tell the hostess of my disappointment or talk to a manager but there was no one at the front desk. So we just left, drove down the road and had a pretty good meal at El Rancho. I was kind of hoping they would call my cell wondering where we were but they did not. With the money we saved I'm gonna go get a live lobsterzilla at Pacific Ocean market for dinner tonight. I am very disappointed. We were also the nicest dressed people in the room. I really think if you are going to spend a couple of hundred dollars on a nice dinner that the other patrons might put on long pants or a shirt with a collar. Ladies, maybe a skirt and shoes instead of the denim mom jeans and flip flops. This is a freakin white tablecloth sit down restaurant. DENVER RESTAURANT WEEK DISAPOINTMENT Went for Denver Restaurant Week $52.80 deal. Table was ready and service was good. BUT we were very surprised by the poor selection and quality of food served. My understanding was that Restaurant Week was a chance for a restaurant to showcase their restaurant and food so to impress patrons so they will return for future visits. What we found was the 5280 selection of food was minimal (no salad offered for example and entrees were small prime rib, tilapia, or chicken. Not very impressive). Portions were very small, quality of food was mediocre. It seemed that the Chart House was trying to cut costs/quality/selection to maximize profit. Jason the long time friend and manager transferred to San Diego last month. The new manager, Cameron, is horrible and hung up on me rather than resolve an issue I had called their corporate office about. Chart House corporate assured me Cameron would resolve my issue at the local level. Cameron started shouting at me and talking over me on the phone and then hung up on me. He is a very immature young man and will not last long alienating key customers such as myself. I am not patronizing Chart House until Cameron is retrained on how to talk to customers and until Chart House corporate honors the commitment they made to me on July 5 when I spoke to them for 27 minutes read more

What a disappointment!! We visited the Charthouse on 2/11 for dinner. Upon making the reservation through opentable.com I put in the notes that this was for a Birthday celebration and that we would like a nice booth with a view if possible. Upon arrival we waited a few minutes as there was no one at there hostess stand. When she finally did show up she grabbed a few menus and started heading us to our booth. Upon noticing that the menu was NOT the special Birthday one I reminded her to which she returned to the stand and got a few generic HB ones, as I have read the menu should have said my guests name on it for the special night. When we reached our booth seated on the left hand side of the restaurant I noticed the section to the right was dimly lit and more inviting, you could actually see the view. The side we were on with the salad bar right behind us was brightly lit (over the tables by the windows) to where you couldn't even see this supposed wonderful view of the city. Another disappointment and we had been there 5 minutes. All this while the "pop" Pandora station is BLARING Taylor Swift etc while we are trying to have a quiet special dinner. I ordered the Chef Special which consisted of a salad that was swimming in dressing, short ribs that were mediocre and the best part the desert, a mud pie. He had the scallops which were AMAZING, the 2 stars are for the service we received from Megan (pretty sure that was her name) and the scallops. After the meal I was expecting SOMETHING for my guest to make him feel special for his birthday, we were told by the waitress that my desert was "enough to share" and that was it, no desert for him with a candle ... nothing! While paying the bill I presented my phone number to look up my Landry's card, upon receiving the bill back I noticed there wasn't a point statement. I asked our waitress for one and she informed us that they "didn't do that anymore, it was a corporate decision". So I am to pay for this expensive meal and you can't tell me how many points I have accrued on your loyalty card through a slip of receipt paper? I had never been to this location before and will never go back, even though the scallops were some of the best. Thanks Charthouse for a very unmemorable birthday dinner for my guest and myself!!!! Side note, the decor was TERRIBLE.... it reminded me of a casino restaurant that was nice in the 90's. read more

I don't actually even know how to begin. We ate here a while back and had a horrendous experience. Made a reservation and were seated quickly, and that is the last good thing that happened. My husband and I actually rented out and were married at the Chart House in Dana Point, CA, it was a perfect experience dealing with that location. We definitely had high expectations for the Colorado location and hoped this could be our special occasion spot. Well thats not happening. We ordered appetizers dinner, dessert, salad bar, drinks, you name it we ordered it...the kitchen was apparently backed up and took over an hour to bring out the first appetizer! It was ridiculous, our server did not mention anything and when we asked what the hold up was, she just said that they were busy. It was not packed at all. The manager throughout our entire visit was walking around...in what appeared to be a panic, we tried to stop him multiple times and were completely ignored. We mentioned to our server about our wedding and she simply said that she didn't know there was a location there. I wasn't expecting a parade out of her, but seriously that was it?! Come on. All in all my husbands dinner was terrible and he didn't eat it, we told her it was bad and she didn't offer to replace his dinner or take it off the check. The best part of the dinner was the serve yourself salad bar. I honestly could go on and on about how horrible it was and how we will not be back. Paying that enormous bill made me incredibly angry. Were heading back to CA this month and are thrilled to enjoy a meal at the Dana Point location. read more

My boyfriend and I went to the Chart House for an early Valentine's dinner. I would generally say we are pretty easy going, however, our experience was so disappointing I felt I needed to leave a review. From the moment we walked into the Chart House we waited several minutes to be greeted by the host. It wasn't that he wasn't there, it was just that he was "busy" doing something else. His customer service skills were fair at best. There seemed to be some sort of staffing issue that night as well as there were many available tables that needed to be bused but it took forever to do so. There were so many people waiting past their reservation times for tables and empty drink glasses everywhere in the waiting area that were not cleared. Our server was friendly, but service was only fair. Our bottle of wine we ordered was brought to the table after the appetizer was already served. Our appetizer shrimp were clearly overcooked. I had to request another fork for my entree after my others had been removed previously with other courses. The wait for our main entree was long (the server did apologize) for food that was only fair. I truly believe that if you are going to charge an average of $40 for an entree the food better be amazing. In this day and age where there are so many wonderful restaurants in Denver I will not be returning to the Chart House again. Thank goodness we had a gift certificate otherwise I would have been really upset. $170 for a meal for 2 - I expect a little customer service and great food. There are so many other restaurants I would rather spend my money at. The Chart House is definitely past its prime. read more

Worst restaurant experience ever! I understand they were understaffed but we were seated for about 20 minutes without even getting water. Complained to the hostess and the manager but received no response. We had to stop a waiter and take a pitcher off their hands in order to get water. Only then did a waiter notice us and offered to serve our table, though his section was on the opposite side of the restaurant. When the food finally arrived it was disappointing. Daughter ordered her steak medium and it was beyond well done. Again asked for the manager. The manager, Jason, replaced the steak but never apologized. Steaks were dry, shrimp was dry and the salmon was dry. Will never eat here again. Jason was uncaring and unapologetic. read more

Don't even get me started on the views of the Denver area; breathtaking. Our server was so patient and accommodating because we were catching up with family at the table. Don't bother making a reservation, they won't have a table for you. The lounge/bar area is fine but you don't get the views you hope for when making a reservation at the Chart House. Drinks took 20 minutes and our main course took an hour and a half from when we ordered without any explanation or apology. Other tables were offered bread during the extremely long waits but not ours. It sounded like maybe the poor service was due to something covid-related but we were never given any explanation. We had high expectations for a special occasion based on past experiences but it's not likely we'll return. read more

A group of 9 of us came in last night (2/3/18) for my sister's 40th Bday. I haven't been here in about 14 years. Looks like the '80's are alive and well based on the decor! Our reservations were for 6pm (we were right on time). The table was ready, and we were seated promptly (Table 208 if the Chart House is reading this...I won't call your servers out by name). That's where the problems began...We ordered 2 bottles of wine for the table. It took 30 minutes to even get a drink, including water! Opening 2 bottles of wine to leave them on the table should not take that long. After an HOUR of waiting (I am not exaggerating), at 7:30 (plus a few minutes...I was about to get up to find the server), we finally were able to order food for the first time. They asked about appetizers, but everyone was so hungry at that point that we just launched into our dinner order. Dinner finally arrives about 30 minutes after that. My mom's King Crab legs were cold. She tells the server, then 20 minutes later tells them again (she had eaten some because she was so starving) and they say, "you should have told us at the beginning...we would have warmed them up". She wasn't trying to get extra...she just wanted the $55 portion to be hot! My scallops were also freezing. Like, had been under the edge of the heat lamp for quite some time. I ate them without complaint as I was sitting next to the bday girl and didn't want her to feel badly. I ordered as 2 side scallops at $5/each ($30 for the order of 6). I asked to add a salad and they wanted to charge me the entree salad at $18 vs side salad at $9.50. I said, "This is just as expensive as your other fish entrees...can't I just sub in scallops on one of your fish entrees?". I was told yes, but the scallops arrived very sad, by themselves, on a small side plate. None of the veggies or coconut rice that accompany the other fish. $48 for 6 scallops by themselves and a salad bar? I felt it was overpriced even at $39.50 they charged me. The side of mushrooms my sister ordered (twice...I heard her) were on the bill but never delivered. The server even recommended them to her twice, which is why she added them. Extra salad bar was charged for as well, but was taken off the bill after pointing it out, along with the mushrooms. I have over 21 years in the restaurant industry, 5 of them spent at Morton's steakhouse in Denver, where team service was a thing. For having 2 servers for 9 people, I would just expect a little more. At $100+/person I would expect a little more. They did deliver a nice dessert on the house for my sister's bday, and the desserts we ordered (creme brulee) were good. They also did 5 checks for us. I know this is a pain in the butt...we told them at the beginning of the meal to minimize the confusion. These are the only 2 reasons they do not have 1 star. I now live in the mountains, and the restaurant options are limited up here, especially for "fine" dining. For the money? Go to Mountain Prime. Way less expensive, way better service, amazing food. I see that Chart House has a happy hour that looks affordable and will consider giving it a 2nd go to see if it alters my review. I definitely won't return for a special event until I know they can hack it. Please note this is my only negative review to date. One plus that I appreciate is that they don't add gratuity. I personally left 25% as I knew how discontented everyone was, and my service industry background won't let me leave a fellow soldier high and dry. Pull it together, Chart House, or drop your prices. Poor service and high prices are a recipe for disaster. read more

The Chart House used to be a very nice place with good service and great food. USED TO BE! Went there last weekend. It was like they went on craigslist and specifically hired all of the people who had been fired for being bad servers, or rude obnoxious wannabes. The wait time was way too long for being nearly empty. The wine list was put together by a 5 year old by the way it looked. They tried to upcharge on everything. The steak was so chewy Im sure it was probably road kill on the interstate nearby a few days before. This will be a great spot for someone to lease and fix up when it eventually closes. It will take some money to make it fresh again. This company obviously does not care to make it work again! read more

Waited well over an hour for our food. When it arrived, it was cold. The waiter must have told us 3 times that food would be coming soon. While we didn't complain, nobody working there seemed to care anyway. Didn't offer a free drink, appetizer, anything. And no manager came by to apologize. The poor family next to us we're seated before us and didn't get their food until we were leaving. They must have waited 90+ minutes for their food. This place sucks. read more

We wanted to give Chart House another chance from an average experience from a few years ago....and we're really glad we did! James was our waiter and he is truly the professional you hope to have on a nice evening out. My wife and I are the biggest Caesar salad snobs ever and I'll put their dressing up against any I've ever had. They hang their hat on fresh seafood and prime rib. We're not seafood eaters, but we know our prime rib. Great flavor to the meat and a very nice herb crust. Ask for extra au jus, because it's the best you'll ever have. Their signature dessert is a souffle-ish lava cake that takes 30 minutes and you'll want to finish with that, even if you can only fit a few bites! Yes, they aren't the fresh new face on the scene, but they delivered great food with great service at a very reasonable price. read more

I am giving this restaurant one star, cause I can't give them no star. 1) we had two servers, I ordered a beer twice, neither waitress ever brought me a beer 2) I ordered a salad, it took forever, it didn't have any dressing in it, by the time I had the chance to complain, I got my main dish 3) I ordered a chicken dish, it was cold and dry, it was worse than chicken fingers you can buy at any fast food restaurant 4) very unorganized, we were six people, we all got our food at different times, some of us were finishing, when others were still waiting for our food. read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Spent 2 hours for an appetiser and a wilted salad. Asked to speak to the manager, he was a no show. Discusting service. After calling the manager, he could care less how his inapt staff treated us. Tables around us were being served... we kept being told the kitchen was backed up. Don't waste your time at this place that calls itself an upscale restaurant. What a joke! read more
