First of all, IF YOU HAVE ANY PLUMBING PROBLEMS....CALL CHEAP O'S PLUMBING! My water line from the water meter to my house began leaking again and I wasn't interested in patching it for the third time. A new copper line was in order. This was a Saturday and my wife and I had plans to go out of town. We had three choices....call Same Day Plumbing and hand over 5 Grand (which is what they quoted me 4 years ago), dig out a 20 foot trench myself, or call another plumber. I had Mike replace a broken hot water heater unit for me. His service was fast and professional. He gave me several options to choose from and I was able to pick the option that best fit my budget. I never write reviews but I have to say Michael and his son take their trade seriously. I called and told them I had a line under my sink burst. I was battling this leak at 1 am and finally shut off the main line and went to bed. The next day I discovered the service pipe threads were rusted and called Cheap O's. They were at my house in less than 30 minutes. I left to pull cash from the bank, and when I returned, Mike and his son were out front sipping on water bottles. These guys were quick! I had water leaking from my heating/AC vents in my livingroom. Did an inspection of the upstairs bathrooms and could not see anywhere there was water leaking. He and his son were at my house within a couple of hours, did a quick inspection and discovered that 'My Kids" had not been shutting the shower curtain all the way and the water has been running onto the floor while they have been taking a shower....10 kids, a lot of showers. After reading the reviews, I didn't bother to look further and made the call. Michael answered right away and said he could stop by between 3 and 4pm (I made the call around quarter to 3). He arrived not too long after I got off the phone with him. This review is for Michael Pagan. We have a clogged sink in our guest bathroom. The hubby looked on yelp and saw that Cheap O's Plumbing had five star reviews so he decided to give them a call. Whoever spoke on the phone gave a quote of $80-140. After talking to me we decided to make an appointment, and we were given a time-frame of 12-2. We thought "oh-oh, they're gonna be here at 2" because that is normally the case when dealing with other companies and we're given a time-frame of when they'll be by. To our surprise, Michael showed up five minutes before noon!!! For us that was unheard of. He came in checked out our sink and told us what needed to be done. Bing, bang, boom our sink was fixed in half an hour!! Excellent customer service, and the fact that he arrived before the time we were given and it only cost us $80 we have Michael's business card hanging on our fridge. I had a tough time during my remodel thinking I could just do it myself. Wrong I was indeed! Domingo came out one night late Friday evening and not only helped me fix my water shut off valves, he helped install and fix the copper shower valve that controls the hot/cold water on both showers. I've watched many plumbers remodel homes and these are the most professional respectful plumbers I've seen. I'm having them comeback just to do my sink, and complete my bathrooms because I know it's always going to be an amazing job with a great price. These guys are the biggest butchers I have ever experienced. I guess they are OK for running a snake down a clogged drain, but for real plumbing it is clear they have no clue. I had an emergency in my kitchen sink and so they installed this cheap PVC 1 1/4" junk with all kinds of flexes and rubber adaptors and it all leaked after they left. A subsequent visit involved tightening everything but if you touched it with the under sink garbage can, it spelled doom. I finally took matters into my own hands and re-plumbed everything with 1 1/2" ABS (not cheap 1 1/4" PVC) and it is absolutely bulletproof. You could kick it and it won't leak. These guys are clowns. They do show up in a hurry, though. Oh, and they give a "discount" for cash. Hello IRS. read more

I don't really give five stars often, but I believe this business deserves it. Called around after discovering a big hole in the closet ceiling where the AC condensation line was leaking through and getting my clothes wet. Since my electrical wiring also run in the attic, I was in a rush to get the problem corrected as soon as possible. Being the July 4th weekend, many other local businesses were closed and the ones available had no availability until the week after. The ones that were open delivered loads of BS saying that my house was in imminent danger and that it would cost $600+ to fix such an issue. Others required a hefty inspection fee before they would give me an estimate. Although it was my first time using CheapO's, they offered me an estimate upfront ($300-360 cash) over the phone and offered a same-day appointment (3 hours out). Domingo and his partner David arrived on time and quickly identified the solution, despite it being an unusual occurrence that the leak resided on a clean copper tubing in the attic. While I fully expected to be price gouged at this point given it was the weekend and also the July 4th holiday on Monday (and especially the estimate was given over the phone), all I have gotten was nothing but courteous and professional service. The team did not try to make the problem more difficult than it is, nor charge fees like the fourth of July fee, hard to access attic (I have a flat roof, so the attic is quite inaccessible) fee, or any of that nonsense. The problematic piece was cut out and coupled together and there were no leaks after testing. The whole process took less than 30 minutes. Furthermore, the team honored their original estimate (at the low end - $300), and gave me $20 off for mentioning Yelp. Domingo also referred me to a resource that I could use to get the water damage repaired and cleaned up prior to leaving. I just don't see how you can get better than this.
