My daughter and I stopped by here to get her a quick salad as she was feeling a bit queasy from the drive.........and also the road-snacks. This place was busy!! I wish I was hungry, I would have gotten a sandwich as they looked tasty. Her small salad was a little under $5, which is probably the going rate for this area but I would expect to normally pay less than $4 for the salad. We ordered, the employee was nice, and we waited for a few minutes and grabbed our salad and left. The salad was good. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely stop by and grab a sammich. read more

The menu you see when entering is a bit overwhelming at first until you figure it out. Service is amazing, hard working employees wanting to please the customer. Wow, I really loved this place. Their subs are very tasty, even better than Publix-caliber if you're from the southeast. Their subs are not made quick. Know how you solve that problem? You pull up a seat at the full liquor bar and have a cocktail while you wait! What??? Yes, a full liquor bar in the sub shop. They even have random infusions they make and rotate, like banana pepper tequila, kool-aid, etc. I only wish other states didn't make such a concept impossible with their antiquated and draconian liquor license laws as I'm sure this business model would not work in a state like Florida, where I'd go here all the time. To-go orders are super easy as well. Put it in online, pop in the front door and it's waiting for you on a rack next to the door so you're in and out in five seconds. read more

I really enjoyed the iced mate and my husband tried some of the craft beers. I had the sandwich with au jus, which hit the spot. Everyone's sandwich was really tasty. And the kids especially enjoyed the rainbow Rice Krispy treat. If we were in Keystone/Dillon longer, we def. would have gone back for a second lunch. The staff was friendly too. And efficient. Perfect place to satisfy your hunger! This clean and trendy spot has a menu filled with a ton of delicious food options. We tried the "Thai stick" (teriyaki chicken) on a garlic bread and "kali mist" on white bread (California club) in the size "blunt" (aka a foot long). It's a quick bite to eat on the go, or there's a lot of seating inside with a large tv on if you want to watch something - they had the show ridiculousness on and it was quite entertaining. They had a large food menu and options for drinks at the soda machine as well as their full bar inside. The staff was super insightful on the menu and overall was a great experience! This is a spot you must have at least once in your life, if I lived in Colorado, I would be there at least once a week! read more

Came here last week after skiing with some friends. The subs themselves are nothing crazy, pretty standard for cheba. This location has a special... edginess to it? Typical fiasco with the "Our tablet is going to ask you a few questions?" By default it was 15% for making the sub on top of the existing price... I manually changed the tip to $1 and went about my day. Annoying, but whatever it's how things are these days. My friends and I sit down and the guy pressing buttons starts screaming out loud to the employees making the sandwiches "ONNNEEEE DOLLLARRRR".... I couldn't believe it. I asked my friends about it, sure enough, homie with the bushy hair is again screaming "FOUUURRRR QUARTERS". We were taking our sandwiches to go, not sitting down so we were all a bit taken a back by the behavior. I'm sure the fella behind the counter isn't wanting the Denver poors visiting his establishment. A regular (if not always) stop after hitting the slopes. It's the best damn sandwich in the whole state. Get the garlic bread and add the chipotle mayo to whatever and you're going to be in for a super awesome time. The staff is always legit and for weed themed restaurant everything is super fast. Definitely overrated. I mean. My Italian sub was fine. It was dry but fine. Definitely not amazing and DEFINITELY not worth the 45 minute wait for food to come out. I mean no food came out of the kitchen for at least 25 min while we sat there. Not one table had food. This is a sandwich shop! What the hell are you doing back there?!? My mom and her friend enjoyed their salads but agreed they wouldn't wait that long again for them. Oh and the "to go" box is a piece of aluminum foil...for salad. Really? Come on now. This sun shop is so good. I'm not a huge of subs but I couldn't get enough of this place. Ordered the Italian on wheat bread. It was the perfect balance and had lots of veggies. I'm not the biggest fan of sandwiches anymore. I don't love sliced deli meat, and never really have, and besides, they're usually pretty mediocre. Cheba Hut is a major exception! I had the Griefo, which was probably one of the best sandwiches of my life! It had pepper jack, cream cheese (jalapeno!), sprouts, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, olives, guac, and their house dressing on garlic herb bread. It was so good, it inspired a second trip to another Cheba Hut just a few days later (second time I had Magic Mushroom, which was good, but not as great). Also their rice krispie bars are amazing. I tried the ones with lucky charms and cocoa flakes, and they were perfect...just the right amount of gooey marshmallow, without overpowering the cereal. Seriously, this is no boring Subway/Quizno's/Jimmy John's/etc. These are legit sandwiches, and I would definitely give them a try if you're in the Denver area. read more

The sub names are all a punny weed name and when it comes to making subs with love, this place goes all out. The subs will take a little longer because they toast them - yum!!! Honestly came in here on a late night with this being the last place open around town... i love Cheba Hut so was excited to come here... i got here , ordered the food, was doing fine.... The lady working at the time.... Blue shirt cowgirl hat working at 11:48 3/18/23 .... Was so absurdly rude after asking what name she called out because i could now here.... The music in there was blasting and i could not hear her call my name or make a name out of any of the things she was screaming... when i went up to get my food, she proceeded to scream that it was not for me but did not clarify the name.. overall was a terrible experience .. i do not plan on coming back anytime soon, nor recommend any of my friends or family due to the terrible service. read more

Tried Cheba for the first time when staying in Dillon for the weekend. Their subs are bomb!

If you are ever heading home from the majestic Rockies and you intentionally drive through late Saturday night all the way from Salt Lake City to avoid the eastbound Sunday ski traffic but they suddenly close the Eisenhower Tunnel for emergency repairs and you drive with your knees up the Vail Pass while you type in your favorite hotel app to try and find a remaining hotel room as you watch these predatory bottom feeder hoteliers raising rates literally by the mile/minute as if there is a "screw the traveler" Hotline from the tunnel to the grifters - and you wind up paying more $300 for an absolute dump of a hotel where you hesitate to take your socks off , let alone your clothing, and the general smell is 70s Coke Party and you can't even get a clean cup from the front desk to pour the last of your Whiskey to drown your pain and it is crystal clear they simply don't care- looking at you, La Quinta, By All Means, do order food from this outstanding restaurant! Their Meatball Sandwich and Magic Pretzels were absolutely outstanding and the single highlight of the evening. The bread was big league delicious perfection and they deserve your business. Pretty good subs, really good service. I had the bomb aka meatball sub on garlic herb bread. The bread was so yummy...and just the right amount of toast. The meatballs were good, but the sauce was better! I would get again. The 8 inch was too much. He had the magic mushroom and he said it was good. He also liked the garlic herb bread. Solid sandwich joint. Ha ha. Made the fam come in because they wanted the burgers nearby and had already had burgers today. Kids freaked because they are spoiled and didn't get want they want, until finally 2.0 decided to try it. He rated his grilled cheese highly, and my eloquent spouse said the Italian was "good." Kids were put off by the slightly smoky atmosphere (imperfect lighting and cooking smoke, not what you think). Kid 2.0 said it was "beard themed" and somehow missed the OTHER rather obvious theme...
