My first experience trying Cheddars and it was the absolute worse. Our waitress was Erica and she gave us shitty service. Let's start with; she didn't give us her name, she didn't offer us an appetizer to start with, it literally took 35+ minutes to get our chips an queso. She never offered us a refill on our drinks. My son and I had lunch at Cheddar's today after church. It was really busy as usual but only took 10-15 minutes to be seated. The waitress was prompt, kind, and helpful. We had the fries with cheese and bacon on top for an appetizer. They were delicious. Perfectly seasoned. For our meal we both ordered the grilled chicken and shrimp with mango sweet and spicy chili sauce from the light menu. It came with rice and a side salad with a balsamic vinaigrette. It was so tasty. The sauce was very flavorful with just the right amount of spice. I would gladly order this again. read more

I have been to Cheddars for YEARS now. My girlfriend and I went to this Cheddars now a few times with the last time being my last. We were very excited when this location opened but so dissatisfied with our last visit. I ordered the chicken fried steak which was mostly breading and saturated with grease to the point where I had to soak it up with a napkin and cold mashed potatoes and cold corn and my girl got the crispy chicken salad which contained cold and greasy and rubbery chicken pieces which was disgusting. Not to mention the appetizer which were supposed to be potato skins which literally had very little potato even on them. They were literally strips of potato skins with unmelted cheese and overloaded with cold bacon pieces. The best thing we ordered were the drinks which was beer. Needless to say 60$ later and the worst food ever. Want a good meal go elsewhere because you won't get one here. read more

Update: I originally gave them two stars. After my first review, Todd the GM, contacted me and offered me 50.00 to basically try and rectify the situation which I really appreciated. I decided to slit the gift certificates up in two trips. First trip back, onion rings were cold had to send them back... again. Second time back everything was a disaster. Ordered the dinner portion of the catfish, got the lunch portion wrong sides, wrong everything, wrong drink.... complete failure. Our poor waitress kept apologizing , but I do realize that it was the kitchens fault. I'm not sure what they're doing in the kitchen, but seems to me with their lack of competence they should be firing someone or retraining some people. Definitely a not going back to this location for a while. Service was excellent tho, but does not make up for constant mistakes made by the kitchen. I realize we have our days, but this has happened too frequently. I've been here a few times since opening , however, these past two times I've gone it seems as though they are already doing down hill. Ordered onions rings and not only did they not come out before our food, our waiter told us he made a mistake and didn't put the order in for the onion rings and so I said that's fine, we still want them well about 5 minutes later they came out and they were completely cold.... uhhhh ok. So I told him we didn't want them because they were cold and he said ok I'll have them make some more of you still want them... that's one of the reasons my family and I go there because we love their onion rings. Anyway we didn't get our onion rings until after we had dessert and he still charged us for it! I guess I assumed since they messed up and we didn't get them for us until after we were done with our food they wouldn't charge and they should not have considering it was their fault, more so our waiters fault. read more

Hands down, best experience at a Cheddar's I've had. The manager noticed my wife eating from my plate and brought her out the side she was stealing from me. When we got ready to leave, he had packed me a container to go to make sure I was able to enjoy what was once stolen from me. Wait staff was amazing and manager exceptional. Thanks Jim! read more

Dinner experiences last night was sub par. We eat out, dang near, every meal and would have to say that your restaurant was sub par last night. In fact, we tend to stay away from cheddars, for the higher prices and lack of gluten free options. We happen to get a gift card, for Christmas and used it last night. To start off, I went to sit in the bar, at a booth, and was told to move. Why would you have regular seating in the bar area?? Makes no sense to me... So, I get up and move my family to the actual Bar... our meal was slow to come out, ribs came out warm but had no flavor and my chicken tenders were cold, not even slightly warm, with no flavor. I got a side of casserole and was given less than a half of a small container full and they also came, u guessed it....cold. My wife had a monte cristo and she could only stomach about 1/4 of it. The only thing that came out good, were the croissants.... I can see you have a problem because out of 67 reviews, your restaurant is at 2.5 stars out of 5... how do you fix these issues?? read more

I too would give it no stars if the steak wasn't good !! Sent steamed broccoli back as it was boiled and remakes of shrimp juice !! Terrible !! My husbands 1st ordered entire' - they came back and told us they were all out of it , then his 2 me ordered entre' came out before our salads ! Kitchen staff came out and I guy literally said "sorry your salads are taking so long. They ran out of lettuce so they are making them fresh, from scratch , straight from the oven" .. wow , really ! Went there with my family to Celebrate my daughters dance recital and had poor customer service. It started with the Waitress taking our drink orders, and then coming back not know who had what, and even drinks we didn't order. There were 10 of us, but it was simple a simple drink order. Then after fixing it, took our appetizer order with our food and everything was ok until we got our food. Out of 10 people's order, 2 were correct and we were given the wrong food, combined with everyones side orders. She then took 3 try's to fully fix it for everyone, and then another issues came up. The waitress must have didn't pay attention but she came back 6 times with the wrong tickets for all of us, and there were only 3. After the 6th time, I went and got a manager to fix this issue and then he also messed up our tickets 2 times himself, and I also wrote it down on paper for him. When he got it corrected I told him to comp some stuff or we were all walking out. He did, even though it was half ass and they were given no tip. This took up over one hour of my time me and my family won't be back. This store lost 10 customer's and needs to get itself together like it was the first time they opened back when it was worth it. 0 stars if I could. read more

This is one of my family favorite eateries until today. I should have ordered my usual but decided to the order the 12 oz rib-eye steak, what a disappointment the meat was tough and 60% was fat. The service was was not up to par today I don't know what was going on. The empty glass of water took forever for a refilled and the appetizers was more cheese and no beef as requested also the chips was less than stellar like it was from a grocery store shelf. Food here is very yummy HOWEVER we waited 1.5 hours for a table and once sat another 20 min.... and no one came by (similar to a doctors visit.)We got up and we're literally outside and then someone finally came. Not worth the hassle especially if you are super hungry like we were. read more

This is the worse Cheddars that we have ever been to. We went on a Sunday evening, 5:30 . We were shown to our table and ordered our food. Onion rings are the main reason we love Cheddars, so we ordered a plate of them plus our meal. Within a few minutes the waitress informs us that they are OUT of onion rings. We thought it was a joke but no they really were out . We made some OMG mumbles and asked to speak to manager. The waitress didn't return for quite awhile and we never saw the Manager. We had to ask a passing waiter for refills of our drinks. I emailed Cheddars and no reply so I thought I would let people know how unhappy we were with this particular location. read more

We did a take away lunch order at this location and the service and food were excellent even though it was very busy being the day before Mother's Day. The quantity, quality and cost of the food was excellent. This made a very special meal for my family. read more

We've always loved Cheddars, & this new location didn't disappoint. I had ribs & shrimp, both were very good! The only thing I didn't like was the broccoli cheese casserole, it was too dry. Went to cheddars-Lake Worth on June 23rd. The business was not busy and got seated quickly. Ordered a chicken fried steak which took about 20 to get. The middle of the chicken fried steak was bloody and not cooked properly. Waited another 10 plus minutes to get the waitress attention. The plate was returned to the kitchen to eventually get another meal in about another 20 minutes. By then the rest of the dinner party was ready to leave so got a box to put the meal in. When received my ticket I was charged for two chicken fried steak dinners instead of one. Won't be going back there. Just lost my business. read more

I along with my family visited this restaurant on Mother's Day, 5-14-17. My son, who did not order fake bacon bits on his baked potato, was shocked to see on the bill that he was charged 99 cents for them. My daughter who ordered lemon chicken, was horrified as she tasted the first bite. It seems it was boiled and kept warm in water, then taken out and seasoned and somehow cooked on a grill to appear as though it had been seared. All of our dinners were cold when we got them, and the baked potatoes on our dinners were cold and dry...so cold that the butter on them stayed solid and wouldn't melt. The area where we were seated was so cold from the air conditioning that our spinach dip appetizer, delivered to us hot, soon had turned into a cold solid that we had to cut into and put it in cold chunks onto the very tiny supply of chips that came with it. The food was overall terrible but our server was very friendly. The employees who were clearing tables decided to "hang out" right around our tables as they tried to appear "busy" when the manager would walk by. Their loitering, talking and disgusting sweeping of the floors over and over again to appear busy was very disturbing throughout our entire time trying to eat. We almost said something to them but figured our best bet is to leave and never return. Warning to anyone who would want to go there expecting a good experience... I will not waste my holiday, my time or my money there ever again. read more
