menu - cocktails and other alcoholic beverages

I went for dinner with friends last night and the service was lovely but the food was subpar. The staff, especially our waitress, were hospitable, attentive and efficient. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time but we were also busy talking comfortably, so time passed quickly. The honey butter croissants were warm, doughy, sweet little bundles of soul that whet our appetites and left us eagerly anticipating the rest of our meal. Unfortunately the subsequent food ranged from passable at best to nearly inedible. Wisconsin cheese bites - texture is perfect! The crisp is good and the cheese is not too dense (I don't think they're curds, just cheese). However, they were too salty and pushed the limit of my partner's heavy salt tolerance. Broccoli cheese casserole - boring but not inedible. I'd get corn or green beans over this. Red beans and rice - I was so excited for this but it was bland and indelibly salty. Country fried chicken - huge, amazing portion but saltiness was off the charts. I thought about removing the bread and washing my chicken in water but my appetite was lost. I spent the rest of the dinner yearning for the honey butter croissants. This location has potential - the textures ranged from reasonable to excellent and the waitstaff is lovely. If they can reduce salt and add more spices (paprika, garlic, etc. - southern spices), there is an opportunity to improve.

Made a trip to NFM and decided to pop in for lunch. I had a fantastic and perfectly cooked Pork Chop with Mashed Potatoes and Southern Green Beans. So good! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I don't understand the low ratings but I had a great experience.

Really enjoyed my visit here with family! I got the potato soup with salad and my daughter got a kids chicken meal. My family all enjoyed their meals, and the yummy croissants!

Fantastic service, but food was only average with the exception of the honey butter croissants. Went here for lunch with 3 coworkers. My salmon was dry and shrimp tiny and overcooked. Prices were decent for the area.

I love going to Cheddars for good, home-cooked, meals. The menu has a something for everyone, kids to seniors. I always get a salad, which are huge, and sneak pieces of my husband's chicken fried steak. This last time there was a little uh-oh when the appetizer took a long time to come out, and 5 mins later our food appeared. If I'm being honest, the spinach artichoke dip was missing the artichoke part. It was seriously lacking in all parts, and if I didn't love that dip I would never try it again. This time I opted for baked potato soup, and it was also less than. Must have been the bottom of the pot. It was overly thick, and only slightly warm. Did I complain or say anything to the kid waiter, no. I didn't. Once we were served he zoomed around and there was little opportunity. I still ate it and was paying for it, so we decided it was easier to let it go. Everything else was amazing, including my mixed drink.

Nicky G was our server. Very polite. She took our order and brought us the delicious buttered croissants. So yummy! We ordered the chicken pot pie with loaded baked potato and the lightly fried white fish with carrots and broccoli cheese casserole. We loved it all. First time trying the fish and it was great! Nicky checked on us often. She did a great job and the meal was wonderful.

White fish lunch special

This was our first time at this new location. We used to frequent the Irving location after church for so many years. We were promptly seated and our waitress was attentive the whole time and she was busy. It looked like she was the only server on our side of the restaurant. We ordered onion rings as a starter and they were huge. I got the grilled white fish lunch special and it was a large portion. We ordered the kids food first and it came out in a reasonable amount of time. Would go back

Cajun pasta...good but one piece of sausage. Doesn't sound Cajun to me.

The service was good, but the food was average. Chicken was dry and overcooked. The chips tasted very stale. The steak was seasoned well, but overcooked.

On Sunday 01/12/25, Myself, my wife and our 6 years twins went there for lunch. We set, and waited for good 30 minutes. Not single waiter came to the table. I tried to stop a waiter as she was walking by our table, and before I said anything, she said "this is not my table". We got up and left. On the way out, I saw exactly 7 employees standing by the kitchen door. I told the two people at the door that no one came to our table . He just looked confused and didn't know what to say. We left!!! After we left, my wife told me I'm glad we didn't eat at this restaurant, I asked her why, she said that the restroom is gross and filthy which means the kitchen is in the same conditions. This restaurant needs to be shut down to: do heavy duty cleaning because it needs it, take care all the repairs because too many broken/damaged things, and hire new staff. We like Cheddar's, but we will NEVER go back to this restaurant.

Great food! Loved the honey butter croissants. Service was so slow though. Manager was kind enough to help out and bring us things. We had to request croissants, water etc. it was Black Friday and the NFM shoppers all went there I am sure. Will definitely be back for the delicious food :)

Wife's Cajun pasta came home in a box because we were too full to finish. Blood orange margarita was one of the best of the year. $136.40 total for a full date night including multiple drinks. Exceptional value for the quality. SAS Verdict: Approved. CraftWay punches well above its weight. The server alone is worth the visit.

Looked over the menu and decided to get Migas $9.99 (which sounded like chilaquiles-SPOILER ALERT they are not!) and husband got biscuit and gravy combo $11.99. It came with biscuits and gravy, 2 eggs, bacon and sausage. Portion sizes were ok. Food was pretty standard breakfast fare (similar to chain restuarants). Best thing about this place was the price. For 4 adults ordering 4 meals, 2 coffees, a tea and some sides it was $63.50. I actually laughed when I got the bill because it was so low. I always forget how inexpensive food can be in the midwest as a meal for 2 where I live can get pricey. This place is located at the end of a strip mall. Parking was easy and it did not look like they were on a wait. Would stop in again if in the area for a quick cheap meal. Oh and for anyone curious what migas were per their menu "Scrambled eggs with tortilla chips, jalapeno, tomato and onions, cheddar cheese. Served hash browns with two flour tortillas and salsa." I was surprised how bland these were. Unless I got a jalapeño there was little to no flavor to the entire thing. I was surprised it was so flavorless considering all the things in it. Hash browns were crispy on outside and soft on the inside which is ok with me.

We ordered dessert for the first time. Pies are NO good. I will say - we didn't love it. In fact, the peach cobbler was very disappointing. Zero flavor at all. Shortcake and coconut were better but nothing amazing. Quickly regretted asking for it. Will not have it again. Definitely not the cherry on top. We'll stick to the amazing chicken and sides and then call it a day.

When I arrived, I was waiting on two family members who were about 10 minutes away, so I went ahead to put our name in. The hostess told me I could go right in, which made it seem like a table was ready, but she never took my name or wrote anything down. After I explained I was waiting for two others, she said "okay" and then started taking names and numbers from other parties, leaving me off to the side without her saying anything else. It was odd, so I sat down. After sitting for maybe 5-7 minutes, I noticed she was taking names for parties of 2 and 3, which was confusing. When I asked about it, she said she already had my party and name even though she had never taken it. At that point, it felt like the Chinese restaurant episode of Seinfeld, where somehow you're waiting but also not really on the list. She finally took my name for a party of three and quoted a 30-45 minute wait, without accounting for the time already lost. My family members arrived shortly after, and we still waited another 20 minutes or so. Once we were seated, the service didn't improve much. Our server was extremely slow, and everything came out at once. We barely had time to get drinks, salads, or biscuits before the food arrived. Refills and additional requests felt more burdensome than attentive. While the food and drinks themselves were great, the overall service felt very disorganized and subpar.

The menu is simple and delicious and the perfect example of knowing exactly what you want to deliver and executing it perfectly. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Located in Frisco, Dad Jokes Cheesyburger is worth the drive from Dallas County. The restaurant's indoor seating is very small, but the outdoor seating when the weather is nice (March or October) adds to the laid-back vibe that caters to everyone from families to hardcore burger lovers. 1 Star. Service - This is counter service with a smile! The staff will take your order, you get your own drinks, and when your name is called your food is ready. On my visit I got to meet the great Clayton (owner/proprietor/dad joke expert). He was super nice, told me a dad joke, and he is a great follow on Instagram. 1 Star. Food - Dad Jokes Cheesyburger caught my attention because of the OK Burger. This popular burger smashes onions directly into the patty. I made mine a double and was rewarded with a big, juicy, beefy bite with onion flavors that complemented (not over-powered) the bite. I paired with the Smoked Tots. These super crunchy and tasty tots are paired with chili, chives, and smokey BBQ sauce. It's hard to top tots - unless you top it with chili. It was less of a side or more of a hearty side dish - a perfect complement to my OK Burger. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I heard about the OK Burger and made the 40-minute drive from Irving-Las Colinas to Frisco. Not only would I repeat the drive, but I would also invite my friends to join me and for some tasty bites and jokes. I hope they don't get EXHAUSTED. 1 Star.
