Our drink order was take right away and our server was ready to take our order immediately. We asked for a few more minutes and he came back as promised. I know that's funny but it seems some wait staff once they leave you never see them again. Anyway took our order and kept our waters filled. My wife got BBQ Bacon Burger which the BBQ was very sweet but not too sweet. The bacon was cooked but she prefers her more crispy totally on her. Her burger was Med Well and was juicy with plenty of flavor. I got the Royal Ali'i Cheeseburger it comes topped with a cheese, fried egg, spicy (kinda maybe) sauce and bacon. This burger cooked to medium well was juicy and had decent flavor as well. I guess any burger there can be ordered as a single or double patty we both opted for the single 6 oz which was plenty. Not a bad place for a quick burger and a drink. The place was kind of noisy when we were there but it was pretty full. They had opened all the blinds and it was nice to view the ocean and have a nice breeze while eating dinner. read more

I try not to bash restaurants, reviews are subjective, but I left this restaurant a little undelrwhelmed. The food and service was average, not much taste to the burger, fries were over seasoned, and the wings were oily and weren't crispy. If you're really hungry and don't want to wait or have an issue with the pigeons bothering you while you're eating this place will be just fine. That said, there are other places within the price point that have better tasting food in my opinion. read more

We walked by earlier in the day, saw the happy hour mai tais for $7 and asked the person at the door about happy hour food (said 50% off appetizers, which turned out to be 15%, probably because we heard incorrectly!). We came back right at 3 and got a comfortable seat in the bar. Lots of TVs with sports on. The mai tai was ok flavor if you like pineapple juice; there was very little rum and it is pretty small with the load of ice. Coconut shrimp, regular $16 for $13.60, was 5 pieces (so impossible to share evenly). A couple were decent size, the others not very big. The shrimp itself were very good, but they had a sweet soy sauce glaze that needed more of the spicy chili sauce to even out the sweetness. So $30 for a couple of drinks and a shrimp snack. I wanted to give 4 stars, but the unsanitary condition of the mens room didn't allow it. There is water all over the floor, I don't know if it is fresh or dirty water. Either way stepping in water in a bathroom is completely unsanitary. I am a plumber, I know. The cheese burger was nice cooked perfectly, medium rare, the egg, bacon and cheese were all ample. Amazing place for breakfast. Right on the main drag across from Waikiki Beach. Our breakfasts were large-sized portions (we both only ate half of our meals) and reasonably priced. Initial impression was below par. Multiple servers ignoring guests waiting to be seated. Paul from NY did get a brunt of the frustration but smiled and guided me to a table. He seems like a happy young man enjoying the Island life. Alissa from PA took good care of me and agreed that the burger and fries order was a good choice. Came a week ago with a friend and it was a great experience. Service was great, pina coladas were good, my friend's burger was awesome, and I had the best corn dogs. Came back for takeout today at 2:30pm, not a super busy time, and got the corn dogs again. Completely different. Not battered well enough to cover all of the dog, as a result there were overly crispy spots and under crispy spots. I also requested mustard and ketchup on the side but was given ranch and ketchup. Hm on the fence about the rating. It's a good 3-4. So I kind of got tired of rice, poke, and spam.. lol. So we decided to try this place out. Wait time was about 30-45 minutes at around 6:30, so that kind of also made us stay. Server was super friendly. Took our order right away. Both our appetizers were good, and the burger was a pretty good size. Definitely got me stuffed. Downfall was my mother in laws bun was super drenched in grease (as other comments have stated). We were starving after our atv ride at Kualoa Ranch and this restaurant was always packed so we assumed it would be a great experience! We were seated quickly- however, we never got to enjoy a meal. After about 10 minutes of waiting, a server came by to let us know he would be by shortly to help us. I came here after my sunset cruise cuz the outside caught my attention with the live music and the atmosphere looked alive. So I sat at the bar and the bartender recommended the steakhouse burger. All I have to say is I went back on my last night and I ordered the steakhouse burger again. It was so good and the aioli sauce on the fries topped it off. The staff was super friendly, utensils were clean & the ambiance was something off of a postcard...like seriously, the way the building was constructed with the open concept was beyond brillant to do. Who wouldn't want insane beach views while they eat, right??? Lol sadly the food is where the raving stops. My boyfriend described it as "mid". He had ordered a hamburger that he wasn't impressed with, so I opted for a caesar salad w/steak. I was a bit sad to bite into the crouton bread & realize that it was stale. The steak was seasoned well though & the salad had a good dressing to salad ratio. Overall, nothing too spectacular or different about the flavors or the menu (not that we were expecting much given the name lol) but that's also why the rating is a 3/5 because it was average at best. First visit here and I will say their service was EXCELLENT & ON TOP!!!! the reason why the 3 stars , We ordered their CIP burger which was a cheeseburger with all the fixings on a brioche bun opt for onion rings in stead of the fries which was an extra charge but no problem. Our food presentation was GREAT! all the servers on a busy Sunday night kept up with refills on drinks and checking on how we were doing, we never had to ask for more water or other beverages. The Burger...bun was kind of dry and the patty was just greasy with no taste even with ketchup, mustard, fresh lettuce, onions, tomato but all together hmmmm. Visited Cheeseburger in Paradise at the Waikiki location and had a nice experience both from service and food.  As normal COVID is having an impact on this restaurant along with all others in this area, but front desk service was efficient and received  a table within minutes of arrival even though no reservations and peak dinner time. Table service was immediate with drinks all around and food orders using the online QR code.  Drinks and food were delivered timely and was delicious all around the table.  Poke dish was the outstanding dish with a mild shoyo flavor and the Ahi was super fresh, in addition the Tuna Salad wrap was also excellent with the tuna.  All other dishes were very good. Pricing is high, but attributed to the location on Waikiki beach, and would definitely return, which we did later in our vacation stay.  Service and food were excellent as the first time. Hint for your visit - request an inside street side table for people watching.  No reservations are available so expect a possible wait. read more

My only negative is that the ceaser salad did not have croutons... croutons with a ceaser salad is a must ! But they serve it with crispy bread as an alternative .... Just doesn't suffice ! This place was awesome, but the main reason was really the service. Our waiter (Josh, I think) was legit the best. He was attentive, funny, and super welcoming even when our party of 15 (we had reservations) rolled in, added two more people, and asked for separate checks. I had the Shoyu Poke which was good but duh, I wish I got a burger. The spouse got the Original and it was awesome as were the fries. Child got the Kid's burger but it was like a slider so had to order another. Everyone's dishes looked super delicious and the Mai Tai's are yum! We decided to go to cheeseburger in Paradise for dinner one night I was in the mood for french fries and we didn't feel like waiting for another restaurant. I got the blackened mahi sandwich and my husband got a chicken sandwich. They were both very good and we loved the fries definitely hit the spot. Our waitress was nice and attentive- but I do have to say the area we were sitting in the smelled really weird (in a bad way), and that's not really what you want when eating dinner... All I can say is that I had one of the best hamburgers of my life here, I definitely give them 5 stars if possible.
