Food was great, I've been here a few times and have never had a bad experience. My favorite is the lamb over rice with white and hot sauce.

The space itself is huge with an open kitchen and chill vibes. You can order a la carte, but might as well do the prix fixe. For $50-$59 per person, you get unlimited salatim which included some of the most delicious hummus, babaganoush, potatoes and 8 other options along with unlimited house made pita served warm and a meat option. I went with Lamb & Beef Koobideh which was so good. You end with brown sugar soft serve ice cream for dessert! Cocktails were great especially the No Big Dill (ford's gin, herb infused vermouth, olive oil vodka, cucumber). Reservations are a must! Go!!!

I visited this Israeli spot for lunch with a few others a while back. As others have mentioned,…read moreyou're partially paying for the very nice view, and since it's a hotel restaurant. It was a bit warm at our table, and the friendly staff moved us to a cooler area. To drink, I ordered the Wolf's Fang for $18, a blend of rums, falernum, arak, passionfruit, orange, and oat milk. As described, it was their take on a milk punch, and wasn't too sweet with a bright hint of citrus. I would recommend it. The hummus was good, being thick with a strong tahini flavor, though I have preferred others. Outside of the hummus, the daily salatim included a mix of mostly pickled items. First, there was some pickled cauliflower and carrots with a bit of turmeric. The second salatim was a more unique and spicier pineapple slaw, which was refreshing, and had some herbal flavor from parsley or something similar. The third was a cabbage slaw, which was alright, as I found it a bit too lightly seasoned. The last was a mix of cucumbers, olives, and other pickles, which was standard and tasty. Alongside all of this, the pita was warm and fresh, and the staff refilled everything when we asked. For the main course, I chose the Steak Shashlik, which they spell as shishlik, for $46, which came with tahini and some pickled onions. The steak was tender and well seasoned, and the tahini added a distinctive nuttiness. I especially enjoyed making a mini sandwich with the steak, tahini, pineapple pickle, and pita. Others at the table ordered the Spicy Lamb Kofta and other shashlik options, including Chicken and Trout. In terms of sides, someone got the $15 Fries with tahina ketchup, which they enjoyed. Overall, everyone enjoyed their meal, with no one ordering dessert as a few walked over to the tasty Bertoni Gelato nearby. This place is a tad expensive, but I wouldn't mind going back. Even as a fan of pickles, I wish the salatim were a bit more varied, such as including an eggplant or bean-based mezze. I presume the dinner version is a bit more varied, as there are many more salatim, but they should put a bit more effort into the lunch one as well.

Unfortunately, because of a slow night, they didn't have their full bar setup, and we're only serving beer and wine. So, I put my Yelp expert hat on and looked up nearby places with mezcal cocktails, and discovered this place. The food and drink menus for this place immediately reminded me of La Shukran and similar restaurants in DC, and I couldn't help but wonder if they were under the same umbrella. Turns out they aren't. They had a fantastic hip hop playlist going for their last hour of the night. Dozens of records were on display on shelves, and the staff were really cool behind the bar. I had the Lavashak sour and the Turkish Delight cocktails... Both had really unique flavors and less common elements like apricot, saffron, pomegranate, pistachio... And my sisters drinks were great too! The food looked delicious, although neither of us were hungry. I would be eager to return and give everything a try. The vibes were nothing short of immaculate!

Soft lighting shows off the stylish bar and furnishings. An attentive and eclectic staff greeted me warmly when I arrived. I was the first to arrive and enjoyed a glass of chenin blanc at the bar. I changed to the Swick, their skin contact orange wine and stayed with that for the duration. It was a fun, surprising wine that augmented my meal. We shared the dip sampler of hummus, muhammara and labne which comes with their superlative Turkish Pide. We all ordered and enjoyed the Ali Nazik Kebap, broiled minced lamb on a searing hot metal skewer that be warned because they didn't say a word about it to us! We also ordered the lamb meshweh which features braised lamb shoulder with sumac onions and pickled slaw on a pita. It was hearty and well seasoned and nothing remained by the end. We were having such a good time I forgot to keep taking pictures! Two orders of the dip sampler, three orders of the lamb entrees and two rounds of drinks came to about $100 a person. Despite slightly scorching our hands we had a great experience. Would cheerfully return!

To drink, I loved started with the Strawberry Fields (think spritz!). Every item we tried was delicious: the Hummus, Falafel, Kreplach Dumplings, Roasted Carrots (some of the best I've had), Latkes (seasonal but should be year-round) and their unique take on Babaganoush, everything on the menu is worth trying. Their Frena bread is also incredible - so fluffy and fresh. I'd highly recommend!

I feel like the prices here are too expensive to justify the quality. My favorite thing was the babaganoush. Also, the service is not great. It feels like the staff haven't been trained properly. There were times that our waitress seemed lost and didn't know what she was doing. We had to ask other wait staff questions to get proper answers. Also, don't advertise a special menu on Opentable and give people the option to reserve the menu when you aren't offering it. Came here for latkes and caviar for NYE since it said it was on the menu when I reserved on Opentable. Got there and was told they only served it during Hannuka Hanukkah. Checked their IG and they were still posting they were serving it. Total let down.
