We went to the website to order a lunch item that was listed as a $13.95 item. My husband went to pick it up and was charged $18.95 + tax. That's quite a hike from the listed price. They said that they have not updated their website in 2 years. BEWARE!!! And there was nothing spectacular about the meal . It was very bland. They just lost our business!! I can't begin do describe my frustration about my recent experience at this place. My husband and I with our 5 month old daughter decided to stop by this place to get something to go. However, they claimed they don't offer to go or pick orders. So, we decided to dine in. Firstly, shortly after we were seated, another party of five were seated as well. Approximately 20 minutes later the party of five has been served with the main courses, while we were still waiting for our food. As we were waiting, we saw 3 Asian males walking in to a restaurant and picking up their orders which makes me question what determines to whom they grant a to go order. Here we are 1 hour and 15 mins later still waiting for our food and not a single soul came up to our table to check on us. I then asked a waitress why our order was taking so long and if she could bring the check right away, so that as soon as we get our food, we would head out to which she asked if we wanted to cancel the order, after waiting for it for more than 1 hour. At this point I was fed up with the way we were treated. I went to the bar where the lady that looked like either a manager or the owner and addressed our frustration to which she instead of apologizing for the inconvenience said that the chicken took too long to cook. Unless the chicken was manually caught, defeathered and broken down, I would have believed that it took over an hour. In this case what she said was a bullshit. Not only she lied twice, but she didn't have common courtesy to apologize. Granted the food there is good but service sucks big time!!! The only reason I believe we were treated differently in my opinion, was the fact that my husband and I are an interracial couple. We most certainly felt discriminated and biased against in an environment where he and I obviously stood out. FATTY PEKING DUCK. I was so disappointed this time around when I took my mom here for Mother's Day. The Duck was super fatty and ruined the whole mood of us eating here. We ordered seven dishes total. The soup and the duck came out first. We finished all the food within minutes and waited another 15-20 minute for the beef plate to come out. Then after we finished we waited another 20-25 minutes for our pork dish and the second duck course to come out then another 15 for the Japanese tofu to come out. We waited another eternity for the sea bass to come out as well. Then our last dish was snow peas which usually vegetables come out first always wherever we go to. But no, after the bringing out the sea bass they brought out our dessert! By this point we were eating and waiting a total of almost two hours already so we told them just to cancel the vegetable but they said no they already made it. You would think it should come out within minutes but nope it took another 10 minutes. After all of this eating then stopping then eating it makes you lose your appetite. Okay short on staff or whatever at least let us know about the wait time or apologize or something. We finally packed everything up and left because we didn't have the appetite anymore and went up to pay to only find out they said there's a charge for paying with a card. Imagine having to pay an extra $15-$20 on top of our meal that we barely got any service for and we waited two hours for ALL of our food to come out. AND of course we still tipped. So we usually don't bring hundreds of dollars in cash so we were pretty upset that they're doing this kind of practice. I understand smaller establishments would do this but never a full on restaurant. Mind you it wasn't busy because we didn't even go right on Mother's Day! So this kind of service and lack of attention AND them wanting do be greedy to evade some tax. Also we witnessed the lady run out of the store to ask for tips from another table that had paid and walked out. She was proud of that so she held the cash up and smiled and laughed to showed one of her workers. Unbelievable. read more

Okay people...you gotta go here! It was so great. Clean, very friendly and hospitable. I would have given five stars but there was a bit of a language barrier. But it all worked out. The food is very fresh. They even have tanks full of fish and sea creatures in the back. We tried the duck. We had never had it before. It was served with steamed bread, cucumbers, scallions, and bean sauce. It was so good. I would not hesitate to go back there. A good cultural experience for all ages. I felt like I went to China. Name a place to get better Peking duck in Atlanta...it's serviceable for this niche cuisine

Sheesh, where to begin. Let's start with our waiter, he was a bit clueless. We sat down and told him that we would like to put in an order for the Peking duck first. And he asked how we would like it. And we were like, um, how else can we get it? He answer salt and pepper, etc. And we were like salt and pepper for Peking duck??? It was weird, but regardless we told him to put in that order first because we wanted that as our appetizer. And he told us it didn't matter because they weren't busy so it won't take long. We've never heard anyone say that at a Chinese restaurant. Eventually, he asked the floor manager to come over to take our order, probably because he was confused. She had no problems, was attentive and nice. And of course, the duck came out after other dishes were served *surprise surprise*. The waiter did not do a god job cutting the duck, it was in chunks rather than thin slices. Duck skin was rubbery and not crispy. The other dishes were mediocre, a little on the sweet side. The lobster was not meaty. Overall the dinner was disappointing and service was subpar. The thing that tipped everything over, was a big party in one of the private rooms started smoking. Instead of asking them to stop (I'm not sure what GA law is for smoking indoors, but I thought it was just allowed at bars), they just semi-closed the door, but of course that didn't help. The smell was still everywhere. I couldn't wait to get out of there. They only get two stars because the food was served quickly and the floor manager was nice. Probably won't be back. read more

Been here twice since it's changed names and ownership I assume. The first time was on a weekday therefore it was not that busy. Somehow the service was very mediocre and the food came out very slow. So slow to the point where we were done eating and still did not get all of our dishes and ended up canceling the last dish. With that being said, what we did end up getting was pretty good. So we decided to come again, this time on a Saturday night at 7:00. We were very hungry and had hungry kids. We had to wait a little as they were quite busy and no tables were available to accommodate our group of 3 adults and 3 small kids. We were finally seated maybe after a 20 minute wait, mind you, during this 20 minute wait, no one came to greet us or ask us how many were in our group or how long the wait would be. After being seated, we had to wait another 15 minutes or so before anyone would come take our order. The lady who took our order spoke very little English but seemed to understand what we wanted. Specifically, I ordered some stir fry green beans for my kids and asked her to make sure it was not spicy. She said it was fine. It took about another 45 minutes before the first dish came out, it's already way past 8:20 and my kids were very hungry. The first dish was the green beans and of course it was covered with chili. She insisted it wasnt that spicy and said this is how the chef made it. I told her it was for my kids and they can't eat any kind of spicy. She replied by saying it was so busy and that this was the only way the chef can make it, which made so sense what so ever. (The first time we came, we were able to order it not spicy) We sent it back, she did not offer to have it remade without it being spicy. We had to wait another 10 minutes for food to arrive. Each dish took about 15-20 minutes to come out. And again, we were done eating by 9 and still had not received all of our food. We asked for the check and cancelled the rest of the food that clearly wasn't going to arrive any time soon and left. Terrible service. Probably won't be going back. read more

Sat and waited for 50 minutes for food to get to table. No liquor license currently. Customer service is lacking, many waiters cannot speak english ( we asked for rice with our fish meal, she didnt know what we wanted.) Was hoping the food would make up for the long wait and bad service but it was nothing special. Since they are new I will give them a try again in a few months and update my review. read more

After ordering a whole chicken, we were given a bit more than half and the plating was terrible. Normally, the chicken is cut and placed in an organized fashion, you can see each part of the chicken, the breast, thigh, neck, etc. Ours was piled onto the plate like a small hill, and its not like the plate was small either. The taste was pretty good but the portions are sooo small. You get an enormous plate with little actual food in them. The soup had a great taste other than the fact that the meat was undercooked. I ordered the Peking duck 2 course meal which way suppose to give you either soup or a stir fry and ordered Chinese kale with garlic sauce. Twenty minutes passed and we didn't get our food still didn't arrive, but the table who sat next to us and ordered later got their dish sooner than mine when we ordered the same exact thing. After asking the waiter where the food was it finally came out, around 30 minutes after ordering. The duck was good at least but we never received the second course yet. The vegetables came out about 10 minutes later which was also good. Still no sign of the stirfry anywhere but we see other tables receive theirs with their meals a lot faster than mine. Eventually I was done with the meal and asked them where it was they claimed it would take another minute, which you can tell was a lie because they also offered us the duck with the meat still on it. read more

I took my husband and my kids here and they absolutely loved it. The food was simple enough for kids to love but also perfect for adults to enjoy. We especially enjoyed their Beef Tripe in Chili Oil. The price range is perfect for a big family. The staff was very friendly and helpful we felt our needs were met perfectly. It is odd that this place only has 3 and half stars. My family (half of us are Chinese, and half are American) came for lunch on Saturday. There were only a few customers. The place is fairly large, even has individual rooms for larger parties. The service was great (very Chinese style, e.g. change your plate a few times during a meal). The food was really good. Dim sum selection is small and I would go to Canton House or Royal China for that. However, the Peking duck was good, spicy pot with pork and shrimp, pork belly and glass noodles, and many more dishes were good! We spent avg. $35 per person. But I think you could get by for $25 per person if you want to. Overall, big selection, good food, good service, slightly more expensive than other Chinese places. But we will come back. We tried a week ago but were utterly disappointed. First, the Peking duck served to us was left over from before. It was re-fried with a yellowish color, so we promptly rejected it. This is the second time we encounter the same experience, only we did not reject it then. The owner's wife(?) was very reluctant to say anything. We also ordered another dish, steak, which was so tough. I tried to point this out to a few waitresses and one waiter, and finally to the female owner(?), and offered to let them taste it, but none of them tried to find out. In addition, they denied bad quality and offered no explanation. The waiter even said that he knew of no customer ever complained bad quality in this restaurant. We had to leave under the circumstance, and while we were leaving, the female owner cursed that she would never want us back. So for any futures customers, make sure you get freshly baked ducks, and make sure you deserve at least decent services! read more

The duck is nicely roasted but is pretty small. Definitely not worth it if it is not for the buy one get one free promotion. Duck soup is delicious and probably my favorite from this visit. Service is terrible. We asked for extra pancake for the duck and it never came. Wrong dish was brought out to us the first time then forgotten. We had to ask several times. There is no assigned waitress for the table. So no one comes by the table to check on us. Also the buy one get one free next time promotion can only be used Monday to Friday. read more
