Hot Italian grinder and king club.
    Haley C.

First off upon walking up to the door, the owner came and opened the door for us. Such a bright and vibrant man and lovely to talk to. Easy enough to say.. I'm never going to subway or Jersey mikes etc. these sandwiches hit! And they aren't crazily expensive. Such a good sandwich, I got the Hot Italian Grinder and it's a 10/10. My fiance got a king club and it tastes like my childhood on a hot sunny day at the pool. Loved everything about my experience here and will be back!

Yelpers didn't disappoint! Such a cute, clean cafe. Very friendly service. It will make your day! Prices are a bargain, especially breakfast. Tried the breakfast wrap today, delicious & only $5. Get the spicy mayo on the side if you can't handle spice. Will be back to try the sandwiches & soup soon. Check it out near IKEA.

Ok, so I admit I have been in error for not trying this place sooner!! Finally decided to stop in for a grinder.. Oh man am I glad I did. First off very clean and tidy place with very friendly people. We were behind the lunch crowd so order was quick and easy. The Italian Grinder was awesome to say the least. The bread (roll) was toasty yet freshly soft. The meat and cheese was prepared perfectly, and the "shoestring " frys were fresh and hot,, even the fry sauce was good. All in all it was a VERY filling and deliteful lunch! I can't wait to go back!

Pros: friendly staff, quick service, food is decent and unpretentious, plenty seating and parking, I had a fair experience with this eatery Cons: not much.

I Wanted to try a new place for lunch and decided to try this place based on Yelp reviews. I placed my order over the phone and pick up was fast and easy. The employees were very nice and the place was pretty busy. It was also very clean. I was originally going to give 4 stars because it's like a 3.5 for me but I don't really ever seeing myself go back here. The food wasn't so good, that it made me feel like, "yep, I've definitely gotta back". Unfortunately, it just didn't do that for me. The soup beef and veggie soup we ordered, livery had one cube of meat and maybe a couple slivers of celery. It was all broth. The tuna sandwich was thick and a little messy to eat but satisfactory to eat. The Italian grinder had good flavor but mostly bread and little on the meat. The food was hot and definitely fresh though!

This is my go-to lunch spot, I really love the Italian grinder sandwich. It's always the same and delicious. They are quick and the staff is always so nice. I also love their breakfast burritos, the hash brown has the best crunch to it and it's cheesy. Yum! Highly recommend

This was the best customer service and great atmosphere, I walked in and there wasn't anyone, but a few minutes later a lot of people showed up everyone was greeted well. The breakfast was delicious and fulfilling the orange juice was great. I could've ordered another plate but I was on a tight schedule. Next time I'm back in town this will be the first place I will come.

Meat was actually thinner than the cheese.

Horrible tiny dry pastami sandwich. Hardly enought meat to even see. My freind had the French dip. Same thing almost meatless with some watery aujus.

Wowww what a secret spot! the outside lettering and building is nothing like the inside! It looks like they've done a remodel and it's a great vibe. I'd say homey and trendy at the same time. The pictures of this grinder made it look like the bread is overwhelming but it's actually a wonderful texture and balance!! The sandwich smells amazing immediately and I love the flavor!! I also am glad that I added turkey although it was $3 extra . Definitely will be going again!

    Lunch today, yum

This truly is a hidden gem, it's on a random corner on a plaza consisting of things I would never had a reason to stop in. Good thing there's Yelp, I was around running errands and wanted to try something new and this place seem to get good reviews. You can feel that it's a small mom and pops place, the people that work here were so nice and attentive. I didn't know what to order and they suggested their most popular choice, the grinder! It's a piece of really crispy bread with your selection of meat and special sauce, omg the melted cheese too. I ordered fries too. It's a generous portion as I can only finish half, but yay I have the other half for dinner now. Prices were very affordable, and you can just tell it's run by a very nice family. Tell me about your experience if you've been here or is going to after reading this review:)

The employees are friendly and genuinely make us feel welcome every time we come back. Today I decided to change up my usual routine and ordered the waffle with eggs and sausage--plus, of course, an English muffin with peanut butter . I was not disappointed. The waffle was absolutely delicious: light and tender on the inside with the perfect crispness on the outside. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the sausage links were flavorful, and the English muffin was toasted just right. As always, the coffee was excellent and the service was outstanding. My family and I were in the area and decided to give Mary's Fine Food a try after hearing good…read morethings about it. Pulling into the parking lot, I have to admit I wondered if my GPS had developed a sense of humor. The restaurant sits in an older strip mall that doesn't exactly scream "destination dining," but the inside has a cozy, old-school Texas diner feel that was actually pretty charming. Unfortunately, convincing my two kids that this was a better choice than IHOP turned into a losing battle almost immediately. We waited over 40 minutes for our food, which, in kid time, is roughly equivalent to serving a prison sentence. Every five minutes I was reminded that pancakes at IHOP would have already been eaten, digested, and forgotten by then. To be fair, the food was good. I ordered the Philly Scramble, and my wife ordered the California Eggs Benedict. The quality was solid, but the pricing left me scratching my head. The California Eggs Benedict, which came with tomato, avocado, and bacon, was nearly $30. For comparison, I've paid less for Eggs Benedict at places in downtown Seattle. Seeing a $28.99 Eggs Benedict in a strip mall in Kent felt like finding luxury hotel prices at a gas station convenience store. The pricing surprises didn't stop there. There are extra charges for things like splitting orders, automatic gratuity, and add-ons. We had asked for strawberries with the French toast, which may have contributed to the final bill, but it wasn't entirely clear when I reviewed the receipt. Unfortunately, the handwriting on the check was difficult to read, making it hard to understand exactly how everything was itemized. Since I wasn't completely sure what had already been included, I ended up leaving an additional tip just to avoid accidentally shorting someone. By the end, breakfast for our family came out to around $115. Now, credit where it's due: the service itself was friendly, and once the food arrived, everyone enjoyed it. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I can see why people like this place. The restaurant has a unique charm and definitely feels different from the typical chain breakfast spot. Overall, Mary's Fine Food serves good food and has a pleasant atmosphere, but the long wait times and pricing felt hard to justify for a family breakfast. Three stars. Not a bad meal, but next time my kids vote for IHOP, they may actually win the family election.

Absolutely loved their food and ambiance…read more For food, we got the adobo pork belly (comes with macaroni salad, rice, and vegetables on the side) and the pandan fried chicken (comes with rice and veggies on the side). Pandan was super crispy and rice was soft, not mushy. Adobo was rich in garlic and in smoky and sweet flavor. Love they kept the fat on some adobo pieces. Each dish was just enough for us to finish for breakfast. For drinks, we ordered the calamansi juice and calamansi iced tea. Both taste great. Side notes: You order up front, bring your table number, and sit wherever you like. They will bring you your food. Once youre done, please put your food away in the back, which is located on the left hand side of the deli if youre facing the deli at the entryway. It was busy on a Sunday around noon. A few were available but was filled quickly after about half an hour of us arriving. People tend to spend time here. About an hour if youre just there to have a quick meal, but families were gathering and spending time with no rush which i loved. No waitress or waiter to check on you, just only to bring you your food which took a reasonable 2 minutes for drinks and about 10 - 15 for food. Overall, we definitely recommend!

I also tried the garlic fried rice with longanisa and eggs, which was really good too. The longanisa had that nice sweet-savory balance, and the garlic rice was fragrant and comforting, though I'd still pick the sisig if I had to choose between the two. The ube pancakes were delicious soft, slightly sweet, and definitely a fun treat. Fair warning though, they will leave your teeth a little purple for a bit but honestly worth it. I also got the ube coffee and... YUM. Such a good combo with the pancakes. Overall, everything was solid and full of flavor. I'd definitely come back, especially for that pork sisig. Tita is definitely cooking in the back you can taste it.

I will definitely be coming here again! There are a lot of options for food which can be a little overwhelming. However, it is VERY reasonably priced. $15 for a toast is wild but that's how cafes price things everywhere. However, other cafes smear some avocado on toast and add a tomato and charge you $15, here they give you a whole meal with an egg on top, cucumbers and tomatoes, avocado, and more. It actually feels like it's worth your money. The coffee is good even though it's not too unique. I feel like they used to be a specialty coffee shop before they turned to the crepe/cafe scene. The coffee was very sweet though so I would highly recommend getting it half sweet. The crepe is good, stuffed well and worth the price. It is obviously sweet as well so it's hard to drink a very sweet coffee with a sweet crepe. The barista was kind and helpful with any questions I had when ordering. There was gentleman with a disability ordering before me and the barista was very patient and kind when taking his order. Since it was our first time there, we weren't familiar with the ordering process or menu. I didn't want to hold up the line trying to decide what to order, so I asked if we could sit down first and look over the menu. She cleaned off a table for us, but then told me I needed to hurry up and order because she didn't want other people getting upset about how long it would take me to decide. I didn't respond and simply waited until we were ready to order, which only took about four minutes. What confused and upset me was that shortly after, a white man came in and she told him he could sit down, take his time, and order whenever he was ready because "it's not busy." The difference in treatment was very noticeable and honestly made me uncomfortable as an African-American woman. Maybe this was a misunderstanding, but the interaction did not sit right with me. I believe every customer should be treated with the same patience and respect, especially first-time customers who are simply trying to understand how the restaurant works.
