So I finally went to chicken heaven. The restaurant was clean. The service was nice and fast especially during the busy lunch time hour. I order a #1 deluxe which. Is there standard chicken breast with fried potatoes with a side of chick filet sauce. My chicken was slightly over cooked but at-least it was well done. Every time I go to this Chik-Fil-A, I always walk away with a great experience. The employees here are very welcoming, and thoroughly make sure you get everything you order and more. KEEP IN MIND, this franchise is one of two on Long Island (to my knowledge), so you can expect the drive thru and the restaurant to be packed most of the time. Granted the amount of traffic that goes through the venue each day, it is safe to say that the workers do their job efficiently; besides waiting for 20+ minutes you receive high quality food at a reasonable price! read more

I'm not a fast food person but due to all the hype, I had to try this. 4 stars because it was good, the chicken wasn't greasy and it was tender white meat chicken. Did it blow my mind? No. Service was fine. I got the chicken sandwich deluxe, waffle fries and chik-fil-a sauce which was so yummy. Like I said, food was good but I don't know what all the hype is about. Came back again because I was in the area. Ordered lunch at breakfast time, and everything was okay but the spicy sandwich, which had not only a breakfast bun on it but a ton of butter on it. It was like eating just a stick of butter. Made the spicy sandwich extremely greasy and disgusting. If I didn't have any hard candies I would have easily thrown up. The one guy that works mornings is always extremely rude too. I feel bad for the people working here because I can feel they all hate their jobs. Wait time for me was 26 minutes, but I understand that at least for the first 4 months it's going to be hectic. I ordered a spicy chicken deluxe with a Dr Pepper and my friend had a regular chicken sandwich. What I received was a spicy patty with just one pickle. No cheese and no tomato. As someone who has lived in the south I know what I'm tasting. The chicken I had was very rubbery and the bread was slightly soggy. The waffle fries were amazing a crisp and the Chick-fil-A dipping sauce never fails My friend had a regular chicken sandwich but his did not have pickles. For the long wait just to get an order wrong that kind of threw me off. I won't be coming back for a while because an almost 30 minute wait time isn't worth it if the order is going to be wrong. One of the 2 new Chick-fil-A locations on Long Island (the other being Hicksville) that opened up about 2 weeks ago. Now I don't need to make the trip to Port Jefferson Station for some delicious Chicken sandwiches and waffle fries!! This location has a decent sized parking lot and a drive-thru. Due to the grand opening, drive-thru is quite busy, and a typical wait could be upwards of 15mins. I expect the wait time to drop after a month or two. Who doesn't love Chick-fil-A huh? People tend to stray away from this location because of the crazy lines it attracts especially between the hours of 12-3, and 5-8. But if you get lucky, your wait can only be 5 minutes. I've tried a few different options of their menu, but I always tend to lean towards their nuggets. I love how fresh their chicken is, and how well balanced the seasoning is. The breading of the chicken has a slight peppery taste which is pleasant. If you come here, you need to have the special Fil-A sauce. A mix of honey mustard, BBQ and others, it is a very unique and flavored taste. What's nice about this fast food joint is the waffle fries. Its hard to find anywhere that serves crisp waffle fries anymore! Staff is 10/10 with service, and their app is an awesome way to collect points and earn free stuff! read more
