Love Chick-fil-a as a whole but there are some down sides to this location. Down side #1: kid area is meant for 3 and under and yet there's kids in there, WITH SHOES ON, over 4 to probably 11 or 12. There's babies in there and they pretty much get trampled by these older, bigger children. It's meant to be safe for smaller kids unlike other indoor play areas, but staff never say anything and I wouldn't dare say anything to another parent or their children. Down side #2: they stop making breakfast at a certain time so if you come at 10:20 or later, there's a good chance they don't have any biscuits left. Mind you, people drive out of their way to get the biscuits for breakfast, like myself, and it's extremely disappointing to not satisfy a craving. Honestly, does anyone really need a review for Chick-fil-A? You know it's going to be bomb. What I will say though, is their market salad is actually amazing! Here's the Scoop: I was really pleasantly surprised when my husband and I came here for lunch. The inside decor is so welcoming. Very bright & vibrant. Flowers on every table and a large indoor play area for children. We both ordered the "Market" salad. This was an excellent choice. The salad had fresh blueberries, strawberries, grilled chicken, fresh greens and the avocado dressing was superb. Small pouches of nuts and I believe bran flakes. I'm telling you this salad is a winner. It was so fresh and everything mixed together well. Out of all the fast food salads this was the best I've had. Outdoor seating has umbrellas and everything is spic & span clean. Lunch time is very crowded but lines move fast in Dru thru as well as inside. If you're ever in the area check them out. So once again the COVID-19 pandemic actually allowed me to try another restaurant that I have wanted to frequent for quite some time. Yes, I have never tried Chick-fil-A before! I'm soooo glad I did. I ordered through a third party app, and the order was prepared as well as delivered promptly. One major bonus is that they will deliver much later than most eateries. The menu is quite limited, as they only have chicken sandwiches and chicken nuggets, but that's because they have honed in on perfection and literally do not need to make anything else. When we got the order, it was in a cheerful red and white bag ... and it was sealed! I appreciate any additional safety measures, especially during these trying times. The chicken sandwiches were nicely packaged in foil pouches. They kept the food hot and fresh. This was literally THE best chicken sandwich I have ever had. It blows the roof off KFC's, and I thought their sandwiches were good. Not at all compared to this one. It is buttery and all the flavors meld together in absolute perfection. Try this sandwich. You need to. We opted for no pickles, and I think we made the right choice. The waffle fries still have the natural potato skins on them. Usually this would be a pet peeve, but they were so delicious it didn't matter. Chick-fil-A also gave us plenty of sauces as well. Good variety. The chocolate chip cookies were also very good. I was in bed, pondering which local establishment I should Yelp-review next, and I told [wife] I was considering a review of Chick-fil-A. She assented, adding, "You should write about how much [daughter] loves to go there and would eat every meal there and can't stop talking about eating every meal there." And I said, "Hey! Is this HER review or MY review?" ***** So here I am, alone on the sofa, writing my review of Chick-fil-A. People get very excited when a chain restaurant they've only heard about, or patronized while on vacation, opens a location in their neighborhood. I'm sure there were long lines at the first McDonald's in remote lands like Kyrgyzstan or Burkina Faso or Farmingville. Western Suffolk County is no exception. Only recently did a Sonic arrive -- to great fanfare and greater traffic jams along Deer Park Avenue -- and some people are still waiting for the day a Cracker Barrel shows up in the 631. But Chick-fil-A was on an entirely different level. I'd only heard of Chick-fil-A because it sponsored a year-end college football bowl game I never watched, and I'd only seen one of its restaurants for the first time in Florida a couple of years ago. I wanted to discuss the restaurant further with my fast-food-eating peers but I never did, because I was too embarrassed to admit I didn't know how to pronounce the name. I never made the connection to "chick filet," because, obviously, I'm an idiot. So when an actual Chick-fil-A landed in town, I was excited but wary because of the crowds. Chick-fil-A crowds, that's what I call them. I'd wanted to try the beloved chicken fil-A, I mean filet, but how could I deal with the Chick-fil-A crowds, those Chick-fil-A crowds you read about in the previous sentence? Well, let me tell you. Someone, I forget who, let's just say for argument's sake Chester A. Arthur, 21st President of the United States, he said, "Hey man, have you considered using the Chik-fil-A app?" "Great idea, Mr. President! Too bad you'll later die of Bright's disease!" I downloaded the app, after asking [daughter] how to download an app, and after two hours I figured out how to place my first order for pickup. I drove over there, and even though I had to park a mile away because the parking lot was overcrowded (Chick-fil-A crowds, amirite?), I was able to get my app-order in about 15 minutes, which I then ate in front of the hungry folks on the regular-order line that stretched out the door and a mile away back to where I was parked. As [wife] noted before she changed the locks on the bedroom door, [daughter] soon became a big Chick-fil-A fan herself. I call people like that, those fans of Chick-fil-A, "Chick-FAN-A's," but I don't think that term is going to stick-fil-A, if you catch my drift. [Daughter] is such a Chick-FAN-A that she told me she would eat at Chick-fil-A for every meal. It damn sure seems like she does. YET, she does not like the Chick-fil-A signature sauce. I, however, do enjoy it, and its contents were a mystery to me until I read the Delish article "What's Actually In Chick-Fil-A Sauce Will Blow Your Mind," an article that did not, in fact, blow my mind but informed me that the sauce is merely a combination of honey mustard, ranch dressing, and BBQ sauce. In fact, our Saturday morning ritual, before I go to the locksmith to acquire a skeleton key for the bedroom door, is going to Chick-fil-A for breakfast, then down the street to Costco, where I avoid the large jars of Hellmann's mayonnaise. (If you've read my review of Costco, you would understand the inside joke.) Anyway, [daughter] really does love Chick-fil-A, so much so that when it's Sunday and she forgets that it's closed on that day because that's the day they hatch all the eggs for the chickens they're using the following week, she can be a real cranky-pants! I also have to mention that the staff is very friendly, I mean I would even consider being friends with some of them. A couple of caveats: 1. Sometimes the buns don't seem as fresh as one would expect, and when you try to remove the bun to add a condiment, it sticks to the chicken and tears a bit. I mean, come on! You can create a unique sauce from three common dressings but you can't solve the bread problem? What the heck??? 2. Once in a while I like to ask the cashier if they sell burgers, and not once has the reply been something like, "Sorry, this isn't MEAT-fil-A!" (I also would have accepted "BEEF-fil-A" and "BACON-DOUBLE-CHEESBUGER-fil-A.") So in conclusion, I recommend Chick-fil-A and love talking about how much I recommend it -- now that I know how to pronounce it. FOUR STARS read more

First off, DON'T fear the lines. I went through a huge line in 10 minutes. And the staff will come around and take orders directly while you wait on line. 2nd, there is an app you can download so you can order ahead and skip the line to pick it up. The drive through also was moving quickly- I watched through the window. Also, a big thing to note is that it doesn't feel like you're in a fast food place. There are constantly people bringing you your food, condiments, free refills, kids toys, and I even got a complimentary lemon milkshake. All of those things happened in one lunch trip. Unexpected attention to service and hospitality that I'm not used to seeing a quick service restaurant, definitely not in NY. The Chicken sandwich was really good, lived up to the hype and explains the long lines. Lastly, my favorite part is the indoor playground. Clean and safe, with a big window I can watch my kids through while I wait on line or take my time eating (and writing reviews). Food is usually great but for as often as I go to this location I never get any free items from them for using the app. I go to a chick in pa 3 times a year and that operator sends me a free item all the time. If local businesses want you to frequent them they should take care of their regulars, I see them doing nothing for the community but taking in boatloads of money and giving nothing back. Nice clean chicken sandwiches. Simple fried chicken breast/cutlet on a seedless bun with a couple thin sweet pickle slices. Tasty and easy - not greasy at all. I also really love the seasoned grilled chicken nuggets. High protein low calorie food that is not overly salty is great. At a fast food location unheard of in New York. Prices I feel are reasonable for both. Try some chili sauce on the side. Sweet spicy sriracha sauce is a good complement to the chic on bun.
