My father orders Chick-fil-A every day. This is the third time that I've ordered every time I come back to Commack they always get my order wrong. I asked for pickles on my sandwich and I mentioned it many times and I say please make sure there's pickles. Today is the third time this happened and there was only one pickle and I asked for extra pickles I don't mind paying. The girl giving me my food at the window said I make sure there's extra pickles I could see there's extra pickles meanwhile the pickles are at the bottom and she did not see them she saw it on the ticket and it only had one slice of pickle. It's sad because I love Chick-fil-A but I am no longer going to Chick-fil-A third time coming to Chick-fil-A in Commack and they messed up my order. So glad to see a Chick Fil A close by. Went here for the grand opening and had a great experience. The owner Bryan is so nice and welcoming and the rest of his staff are so friendly. It feels like no other restaurant on Long Island with the staff being so accommodating. I also could not believe that this place was running like a well oiled machine on the first day. The food was so fresh it's unlike any other fast food restaurant. I can't wait to try the breakfast and other items on the menu. I will definitely be returning soon. Don't let the lines scare you at all they have staff handing out menus and taking your order via IPad. Update: Just left breakfast at Chick Fil A. First time for all and my kids were blown away saying this blows McDonalds away. We tried a little of everything today. The Chicken mini's seemed to be the favorite all around, the hash browns were great as well. Great chicken sandwiches, always consistent. Made better by the following three things: 1. Styrofoam drink cups so they don't sweat in the summer. 2. Love this location, wish we had a Chik Fil A closer in Babylon because it's a bit of a drive to get to Commack Chik Fil A. Food is good. Waffle fries very good, Crispy Chicken sandwich good, crispy chicken nuggets good, grilled chicken good, love they have honey to put on chicken and love the big Heinz ketchups to go. Was disappointed when I ordered a grilled chicken meal with $8.55 plus tax and a side salad (which I paid an additional $1.36) which is super tiny and there were no fries. So tell me Chik Fil A, you expect me to pay $8.55 for a sandwich with absolutely no fries??? No it wasn't a mistake according to them because I ordered a small side salad (which I paid additional monies and that was a substitution instead of the fries). I definitely WON'T be ordering a side salad to pay extra and then get punished by not getting the fries included in the gosh darned meal. Also, I bought the watermelon mint lemonade so they also consider part of the $8.55 and charge you extra for the watermelon mint lemonade. Ridiculous. I did complain to manager who explained their reasons but I didn't agree because I not paying $8.55 for a sandwich with not a stitch of fries. She eventually gave me medium fries but I still felt they are SO WRONG FOR their substitution and explanation. Why can't I have salad and fries if I actually paid for it and paid more?? Makes no sense at all. UPSIDE: They do take care of their customers and try to accommodate you if there's a problem. On another occasion, they forgot my takeout order and gave me a gift card to use when I came back again. Every time I go there something beyond my control happens. Mess up or I'm waiting forever. Honestly the best service I think I've EVER received. Above and beyond doesn't cut it. And this is fast food, yummy fast food. I brought my son here after school around 4:30 on a weekday. Everyone from the counter service to the person who was cleaning greeted us with enthusiasm. It seemed that they truly wanted us to have a great experience here. The manager came out and carried our food to the table, the person sweeping asked if they could get my straws and napkins, and when my son didn't eat his food because he wasn't feeling well-an employee who was eating her dinner stopped and asked him if he was feeling well. He said his tummy aches and she literally got up and gave him a free ice cream card for the next time he's in 'when he feels better'. I didn't feel like I was in NY or even on this planet. I'm actually surprised that I'm having to leave a negative review for this chick-fil-A as I have usually had a good service at this location yesterday I went to Chick-fil-A with my daughter for dinner just a fun thing we like to Do from time to time as usual we set our expectations pretty high as in the past the service has been great However this time the service was highly questionable The young man who brought our food came by just to drop off the food and never returned to see if we needed refills or napkins or even to clear our table. I also tried to get the attention of one of the staff walking around the dining area who totally ignored our attempts to get his attention so I had to get up and ask for a refill at the front counter Believe me by no means do I feel like we aren't self-sufficient enough to do any of those things on our own it's just when you go somewhere and get a certain level of service you sort of expect the same thing when you return the thing about Chick-fil-A is I feel you pay more for the food but the experience is typically a high-level fast food service experience this time unfortunately there was a huge disconnect and I definitely couldn't let this be something I didn't address because really I do like this Chick-fil-A in particular but definitely do not want to experience the same lack of customer service I did yesterday so by no means am I trying to be malicious just constructive thank you for your time and I appreciate the service on other occasions I have had a great experience in the past read more

This place is a well oiled machine ! I'm usually there during the very busy lunch hours when the line inside is super long as well as the double laned drive through. If i faced those lines anywhere else i know that it for sure would take me twice as long to get my food. Employees at this location aren't as friendly as most locations... at all. the place is always soooo busy so if you go here, expect to be here for at least an hour. We have been loyal customers for years. Went there on a busy day with my daughter. Mobile ordered - eat in. Sat down and she got her ice cream. 21 minutes later we got our meal which was cold and greasy. Asked person who brought food why they would bring an ice cream first and she rudely explained to me ice cream is ready to serve. I asked if she had kids and ever had to spend 20 minutes telling a child she can't eat the ice cream and when she does it's melted. Felt I should let corporate know since the "A" is supposed to means something. Nice person said he would contact store. Store sent me a kids ice cream as a gesture of good will. Lack of privacy, tremendous amount of fake info that gets spread between workers. To guest we are one big happy company and great place to work at. But in reality it's very negative, stressful, tiring, and a depressing place. The directors say it's a safe place to talk to them but your business is NEVER safe, expect a while later that everyone will know what is going on with you. They're never too fond of the fact that we are young teens and have athletic programs, tutoring, activities, school and a personal lives. No one's mental health is okay there and they'll never admit it. The food is delicious I will not speak only negatively. But as a workplace? Not the very best. Certain DLP's are extremely fake, and not helpful at all, just extremely judgmental along with a lot of red shirt workers. Some us have been here for 2+ years and don't get any respect or sense of love. They try to push us to make us look perfect and as if we are working for royalty and kings and queens. meanwhile we are miserable. I'm not too sure if the owner knows what's going on in both of his restaurants. I do not recommend working here. It's all rainbows and unicorns when you start. But after It's literal h***! I LOVE Chick-fil-A! I am not really a fan of chicken anything. Except for Chick-fil-A. I don't know how they do it, but their chicken sandwiches and nuggets are soooo delicious, tender, crispy and succulent, flavored with the perfect balance and blend of spices and salt. The waffle cut fries have a nicely crisp surface with a pillowy, fluffy center. I especially love their smoky, sweet and creamy BBQ style house sauce, as well as the spicy Buffalo hot sauce and Ranch dressing sauce. They also have an amazing dressed kale superfoods salad with dried cranberries and slightly sweetened pecans. The staff at this location (Commack) are always friendly, polite and accommodating. I've visited here about seven times and have consistently had excellent service with a smile along with delicious hot food. I would like to give a giant shout-out to Brian and the staff at Chick-fil-a in Commack for a wonderful lunch today. My friend and I sat down for lunch this afternoon . We were looking over the menu since it was my friends first visit . While I was telling her about all of the wonderful items on the menu, Brian came over to our table to see if we had any questions. After a lengthy conversation Brian realized that we couldn't decide on what to order since there were so many options to,choose from. Before we had a chance to make our decision he surprised us by bringing over two trays full of food so that we wouldn't have to choose. We can not begin to thank him enough for the gracious gesture. The lunch was wonderful. It included a market salad, chicken soup, grilled and original chicken nuggets, fries and a drink. Everything was perfect. The other day I was debating on going to Chick-fil-a or not for dinner. After begging my parents to go, they finally took me there. I was greeted by an outgoing, energized cashier named Kaylee. She had an amazing personality and a big smile! She helped me decide what meal I should pick out for my first time being there. She also influenced me to try to the chick-fil-a sauce, which is now my biggest addiction. My server was also friendly as well and helped me with any questions I had.
