OK waited for the new rush to calm down. Have been here about five times with different people and I have to say it's good not great for the all the hype I guess these down south places get us excited but end of the day it's just a midnight rest stop place on the ride home from Fla. The place is nice- workers awesome -fries need to be cooked more but the sauces make them better. The chicken is OK I think other places have more flavor I also had the breakfast menu like the chicken and biscuit sand. As said its OK I will still go there if convenient but will not spend time online. The crowds will die down soon enough. I remember when DQ came to Massapequa and line ran around the block. When this location opened I have to admit I was pretty excited. The only location available on Long Island is all the way in Port Jeff, and unless it's a nice sunny summer day, I am usually not down that way. At this point I have come to this location several times. Sometimes it is extremely busy, and other times it isn't that long of a wait. The one thing that remains consistent is that there never really seems to be anywhere to park or sit. The parking lot is a complete battle zone between the drive through and trying to get a parking space. Once you get inside the building it's like a complete factory line where each of the customers are hurdling their way towards the registers to place orders for their food. If you're lucky someone will say "my pleasure" to you and take your order while standing in line. On this trip one of the women managers appeared to know someone standing on the line behind me. She rushed over (completely ignoring the fact that I was next in line) and proceeded to take this woman's order. I had been standing in line for a good 10-15 minutes, and while it isn't an extremely long time to wait, this managers actions I found to be pretty rude. I understand you know someone and want to help them, but fair is fair. After she helped the woman she knew she moved behind her to help the other people while I was STILL waiting. I have never seen behavior like this before at this location, so thought it would be worthwhile to point it out. You should help the next person in line, not just pick and choose who you are helping. I don't know if it was intentional, I would like to think not, but hey what else could someone think? I finally found somewhere to sit, in the middle of the room at a small table, and my food was brought to me a few minutes later. The chicken was extremely good on this visit. The only problem is, it is not consistent. One time I had a sandwich that tasted like rubber and this time it was fresh out of the oven and crispy. You just don't know what you are going to get. This is also the only fast food place I would pick a salad over the fries. I find their fries to be tasteless, they are pretty much awful. Moving on to the bathrooms, it seemed like every single mother with a stroller and 6 kids was packed into the bathroom. They should have more than 2 stalls available to the public. It's a nice idea to have a play place for children, but at the same time having more places to sit for paying customers might be more beneficial instead of while you're eating having tons of people stand all over you waiting for their food. It might be nice to have some paper towels in your bathroom as well, and make your drink fountains self serve. I think some changes could be made to this location to make it a better experience for sure. The traffic can definitely be distributed better instead of making people feel overly crowded while they wait. read more

The other day I was debating on going to Chick-fil-a or not for dinner. After begging my parents to go, they finally took me there. I was greeted by an outgoing, energized cashier named Kaylee. She had an amazing personality and a big smile! She helped me decide what meal I should pick out for my first time being there. She also influenced me to try to the chick-fil-a sauce, which is now my biggest addiction. My server was also friendly as well and helped me with any questions I had. Came in to pick up an order for a customer at the Commack location. Spoke with Fred Winter at the register and he read the order back to me. I noticed the order was slightly different on my phone, so I attempted to show the customer's order to Fred and he refused to compare the order. Instead, he hastily said "that's your job, not mine" with absolutely no eye contact, AND he misgendered me for that reason, too. I was confused, as I needed to make sure the orders matched. All it took was a simple peak, or a nicer response. I called the customer as well just to double check. Fred's hospitality was definitely lacking and his response came across very unprofessional. Use to be a customer myself but I now won't be coming back after that experience. read more

From the owner greeting you to the cashier taking your order to the staff asking if you need anything. What a amazing experience if you have never been to the chic Fil A in Commack it's a must to go ... The owner Bryan was so nice and talked to everyone that came in the door such a great person and to see the owner actually care about his customers means a lot ...Ashantee took our order and was so helpful in what we were looking to get , so friendly and respectful and had a smile on the whole time talking to us. Leslie was cleaning inside sweeping getting people's tabled cleaned and was so nice she also was such a amazing person and knew about the restaurant and kept it so nice and clean I even saw her outside cleaning up while it was raining. The staff is amazing and they care about customer service. I give this place a 10 out of 10. Need more of these around and need more places with the staff chic Fil a has. read more

Had an absolutely wonderful experience today! Not only did the food come out super fast, warm, and tasty, but the staff was absolutely phenomenal and went above and beyond. The Assistant Director, Tom, was extremely professional, extra courteous, and very very friendly. Provided an exceptional experience. The one employee who walks around, Jay, is one of the most friendly and kind employees I have ever encountered at any restaurant. He even went out of his way to grab a straw and napkins for us so that we wouldnt have to get up, and he definitely made sure to put a smile on our faces. Kudos to this team! 5 stars because of the service, atmosphere including the Christian music, and yes, the fact that they close on Sunday. If I had children I would bring them here regularly, the indoor playground looked safe and clean, and the children there were totally enjoying themselves. read more

omg chick-fil-a is myyy lifeeeee. overall the food is delishh and makes u wanna steal the krabby patty secret formal from spongebob so u can take their customers, but thats not possible cause spongebob lives underwater in bikiny bottom and i can't get there cause i can't hold my breath for that long(sad face). i wish i could visit spongebob but whatever. ok so anywayss chick-fil-a is da bomb and the slogan eat more chicken is great. i like chicken. 10/10 from me. highly recommend!!!!!/!!!!! read more

Went there late one night. My debit card is slightly damaged (drove over it by accident when another fast food employee dropped it & I had to reverse) however the card still works usually. This night it did not work. The cashier at chick fil a tried running it 3x I asked her to just punch the numbers in! Manager comes over & tries as well. Asks me if I have cash or another card, embarrassingly had nothing on me.. after about 10 seconds manager just tells me to have a good night & hands me my food free of charge. I was in absolute shock. A full meal for one at $10.27 I believe on the House. Her kind gesture probably meant nothing to her but it showed me there are good people out there. read more

Always consistent in their food which is nice but I do want to share an experience I had today that I just had to laugh at because it's the only semi not really bad but not great experience I've ever had at chick fil a. It was busy and they had people taking orders in line, as I pull up to the window I overhear the young girl saying that it just wasn't her day, the young man next to her said something along the lines of "pray about it" or "talk to god" or something of the sort and she goes on a tangent of how she doesn't believe in god or spirits and so on. I felt bad doing this BUT I asked for extra chick fil a sauce, I could tell it was a minor inconvenience for her, she grabs two packs and reaches out to hand them to me, I try to grab both and she takes one back HAHAHA. I do not get it. I had heard such great things and I couldn't wait to try it. Waited on the drive in line for almost a half hour. Our family all ordered something a little different, so that we could all try the different items. Every single family member (5) looked around the table to see that they were not alone in their thinking. The bread was dry, the salad was not fresh and the chicken tasted like frozen fake chicken (grilled or fried). I was upset, because I had such high hopes. read more

I'll just start with saying chick fil a is my ALL TIME favorite restaurant. Since the start of me going here the food has been heavenly and the customer service was quick friendly and helpful. HOWEVER the last three or so times i have been have been SUPER disappointing for me! the food has been cold and fries were soggy :( i thought maybe it was because I was there at prime time and everyone is rushing TOTALLY understandable since their lines go around the restaurant and drive thru onto the street! BUT I visited the other day at around 3/3:30 and the place was fairly empty. lots of tables available and a short drive thru. so I was really disappointed to find my food was STILL cold and my fries were soggy. I had ordered on my phone and they brought out my food in a flash but they forgot about my drinks :( i stood there waiting for quite some time before i was able to catch someone's attention that i was still waiting on my two drinks. really disappointed in the restaurant lately and just miss how it used to be ! read more

I waited months for the lines at the place to go down at the recently opened Chick-fil-A. I will not wait an hour on line for a chicken sandwich. Finally my husband and I went there and it was awful!!!!!! The order was totally wrong! How you could mess up and order that consisted of 3 items? One of the sandwiches was wrong and the fries we UNDER COOKED AND ICE COLD. Had to throw them out. I couldnt eat my sandwich because they gave me spicy chicken sandwich with nothing on it when I ordered a original chicken deluxe sandwich. Over all a HORRIBLE experience and we will not be going back there again. read more

Last night, my wife and I decided to take a trip to chick-fil-a. This is something I enjoyed growing up during trips down south, but had not had in many years. It was my wife's first time to try. We could not have been more impressed with not only their great food, but their extraordinary staff. The supervisor, whom I regret not getting her name, is one of the most attentive and hard working people I've had the pleasure of encountering in all my travels. There was a simple mix up in our order and she went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we wanted and more. I witnessed her cleaning, serving, and providing overall outstanding service from every aspect. In fact, I downloaded this app just to post this review. This type of service deserves proper attention and I cannot recommend this eatery enough. We will most definitely be back soon and are very grateful for the experience we had! read more
