I totally fot sick not an hour after eatimg there. The people were rude and then i got sick...never again.

TBH, I have not gone to a chick fil a since I lived in DC -- where Chick fil a was king! The East coasters love their chick fil a--for breakfast, lunch, OR dinner! We tried to go to Costco for a quick lunch on a holiday, but forgot they close on major holidays, so we decided to go to Chick fil a across the street instead. It was after 1pm, and the line was looooong! Longer than the lines at In n out! We were nervous it would take too long, but, they were surprisingly fast. They had multiple people standing outside taking your order electronically, and you also pay them, so by the time you get to the window, all you have to do is pick up your order. It took probably only about 5 minutes to get to the front of the line to the window. The prices are a little more than I remember for fast food, and when we left, we found they gave us chicken strips instead of chicken nuggets so we had to go back. When we went back, we just went to the front and they gave us our chicken nuggets after we told them. It was a minor inconvenience, but we hadn't gone too far before we noticed. The kids meal chicken nuggets came with either fries or fruit, and either a toy or ice cream. They also got to pick their drink, which the kids loved. I got the salad with fried chicken on top. With the two kids meals, my salad, and a chicken nugget order, the total came to $30. A little pricey for fast food, but I'll admit the food was a lot tastier than McDonalds. ;) read more

I tried the Monterey CFA a couple of times and it was borderline, so today I saw the new location open since I was shopping at Whole Paycheck and thought it might be a good time to try out the chicken strips... I am guessing it's still grand opening chaos, I had CFA people standing at the drive thru all waving me to pull into them and take my order... CFA you're stressing me out and I haven't ordered anything yet, one CFA says here, the other no this way and waves me on, TG I was high or something... Ok order taken and paid for all at once very nice, drive around for another person to hand me a receipt, ok whatever, I just want my chicken strips and the final person hands me a bag.. CFA don't ask for names, I was called Mr 1st name, and the lady is front of me was Ms Kathy, let's just stick with order number or something... kinda creepy My order was ready for me as I drove up, so off to find a parking spot before hitting whole paycheck... Bottom line was hot and fresh and large size, the fries were good and the drink is a drink... NOW CFA why can I only order the max of 4 strips, would it kill you guys to have 6 strips? My husband and I recently went to the new Chick-Fil-A on Blossom Hill Road in San Jose.(We had been once before, and were unimpressed, but decided to give it another try in the drive through.) This time we vowed NEVER to try again. i'm Ws ordered 4 chicken fillets - received 1. The fried potatoes were cold and spongy. My husband ordered a chicken burger, which was bland and quite small. Posting a late review because this one interaction has been stuck in my head. I pulled up to the Chick Fil A drive thru after a long day of work and I was so hungry!! As a vegetarian, I didn't think I would find anything to eat, but it was the closest restaurant I could find so I tried my luck anyway! The Drive-Thru worker Elizabeth was so patient with me and walked me through all the vegetarian options on the menu. I am now officially OBSESSED with the chicken-free southwest salad (with avacado ranch!!) as per Elizabeth's recommendation and I can't wait to go back for more. i wish yelp allowed me to rate this establishment a 0 star, so this is going to get a 1. anyways, back to the worst customer service experience i've ever dealt with. to start things off, the attendee at the drive thru had to be smokin on the job. he looked stoned as heck. we receive our food and come to find that my 8pc nugget and fries were missing. i didn't make a big deal about it whatsoever though because i was just going to go back inside and kindly let them know they forgot my meal. once upon entering, a man by the name ale approached me and helped me to his best ability. i let him know my meal was missing and he notified his manager by the name of sophia. SOPHIA had to be the rudest manager i've ever met. for starters, she never even apologized for forgetting my food? she walked straight up to me commanding me for my receipt like i'm some trash. she then proceeds to look inside the bags of food as if ATE THE FOOD. i swear to god i'm not big enough to lie about not receiving my food. she quite literally triggered my eating disorder, considering i hadn't eaten all day. she saw that my nuggets were missing and ordered my MAN ale to get them, which he kindly brought to me. but she said there was no order of the fifth fry on the receipt. i clearly told the guy my order at the drive thru and even if he misheard me, its not a big deal cause i understand that happens. WHAT WAS A BIG DEAL is that she refused to give me that order of fries and make me wait in the back of the large line to buy some. i was already over the whole thing and just ended up leaving the place unsatisfied. NO WAY sophia is going to be stingy over this order of fries as if it come out her paycheck. Sophia first of all lacked professionalism, she not once apologized to me nor treated me like a customer. her work ethic needs plenty of improvement and i honestly think she don't even deserve the management title. Never seen this kind of experience where i have to flag down an employee to take my order. They were busy on their phones and chit chatting. Maybe they were on their break with their headset and tablet moping around. How is it that the 2 cars behind me got their orders placed and received their food before me? It was around the corner close to food window because they were just talking and on the phone. I mentioned it to the employee who finally approached me after multiple attempts to get someone to help me and she ignored my concern and just took my order and walked away. Chick-fil-A is the best! Like to order the spicy deluxe no cheese or the spicy southwestern salad. My son loves the number one spicy deluxe with no spice. He says it is great my oldest son thinks the mac & cheeseisthebomb.com don't forget the chicken sandwich... baby always loves the books and the fruit cup and the chicken tenders, not the chicken nuggets those are too salty. First time visit. Lines were long (8pm on a Wednesday) but moved fast. Employees were as delightful as I had heard. The food was served very quickly and every employee I watched really impressed me. Sadly, the food disappointed. I had heard such great things, but the grilled nuggets (as gluten-free as I was doing get, I think) weren't that great and the fries were undercooked a bit and also didn't taste that good. We had gone through the drive thru at 11:45am and one of the items ordered was the chicken strips. We asked for two different sauces when we placed the order and at the cashier window when we were handed our food we asked if the sauces were in the bag. The response was "Yes" After driving away - Guess what? NO SAUCE What to do now?? Go back?
