The shrimp and grits were also well-seasoned, and the creamy sauce brought everything together nicely. My only feedback would be regarding the shrimp-to-grits ratio. The bowl of grits was huge, and while the shrimp were good, I found myself with a lot of grits left over. I actually ended up finding some grilled chicken later just so I could finish the rest of them. If they added a few more shrimp--or simply let customers know how many come in the bowl beforehand--I think it would make an already good dish even better. The bourbon meatloaf was okay, although you definitely have to be in the mood for meatloaf. The breakfast potatoes, fried okra, Brussels sprouts, mac and cheese, green beans, and grilled harvest chicken were all decent but didn't really stand out. The fried chicken was very well seasoned--perhaps a little too well seasoned for my taste, as it leaned toward salty. Our drinks were good, and I still enjoyed the atmosphere. Our waitress was also friendly and attentive, which helped make the experience pleasant. Overall, this visit didn't quite live up to our first experience. My husband was especially disappointed. Then the order came and looked nothing like I expected and I had to check again to make sure I had the right number. If they can keep the bathrooms clean and call the numbers a little louder, I think it would help a bit.
