Today I came to the Miramar location. As always Du Kang's Food was amazing. I've always come with few people and everyone has always been happy with food and service. Today I came by myself and although the food was great, the menu is not very single-person friendly. The only dishes you can get are chaufas or soups. Unfortunately they don't offer a side of plain Chaufa or tallarín if you get chi hau Kay, Tamarind pork or any of the specialty dishes. The server only asserted to recommend either one of the chaufas or soups. Food was great but mildly disappointed couldn't get a specialty dish with a side. read more

Great food! The portions are generous and made for sharing. We thoroughly enjoyed their shrimp chaufa, pollo limon, and pollo saltado (extra $3 to swap protein for this). I've come across Reels on Instagram hyping this place up, so I was excited to see it near me. I've never ate inside the restaurant, but I have ordered take-out twice and the food was just ok. So far, I've only had their lomo saltado, which is nothing from what you expect it to be. It has an Asian twist to it that I personally don't prefer because I actually really love the true version of lomo saltado. Perhaps eating in the restaurant right after food is served would make a difference with the experience, not sure. However, I have ordered their noodles and they were flavorful as a take-out item. read more

Food was mediocre especially considering the price. Service was Ok, but they automatically add a tip for the back of the restaurant staff and disguised it as a service charge. Hey Foodies, have you ever had Chifa? Chifa is the beautiful fusion of Chinese and Peruvian fusion. We started off with a Inka Kola because no Peruvian meal is complete without one. It's refreshing and golden. Then we had the Siu May (6) Steamed pork shumai with hoisin sauce$13.45 . Definitely pork forward and tasty. Then we had the Bao Chancho - Steamed Bbq Pork Bao $8.75 . The bbq sauce was more soy base. It wasn't as sweet as the bbq pork buns at dim sum. Definitely made for savory lovers. Now to me the most iconic chifa dish is the Chaufa. We had the Chaufa Especial ($15.85 )Chicken, pork and shrimp special fried rice. A take on fried rice and so well made. We then had to go to the Tallarin Especial with Shrimp , chicken, quail eggs and pork stir fry noodles ($26.85). A dish ready to feed a feast with the perfect omelette on top, heavy meat, and the most chewy yummy noodles. The Chancho con Pina such had Sweet and sour char-siu pork with pineapples ( $19.85) was surprisingly not overwhelming. It was a very subtle pineapple and sour sauce. Definitely a fun bright red color. Now my favorite dish of the night is the DUCK! Pato Especial Du Kang 1/2 Slow roasted duck with hoisin and ginger sauce. The depth of flavor in this dish, the sauce, how fall off the bone tender and the PRICE?!! where else do you get duck for 26.85? Chifa DuKang is the place to go with family and feast, with big portions, incredible depths of flavor, and multiple locations, there's no reason not to visit. read more

We were in Miramar, FL visiting family for two days and stumbled upon Chifa Du Kang by accident on our last night, just 15 minutes before they were about to close. What a hidden gem! The experience was incredible from start to finish. The sopa wantan was out of this world, and it instantly took me back to when I lived in Peru 26 years ago - the flavors were so authentic and comforting. We also tried the combo plate for two, which included chaufa, fried wontons, and chicken with noodles (I can't remember the name, but it was amazing!). Everything was perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. As a huge fan of Ceviche 105, I have to admit that their arroz chaufa was even better than what I've had there! The quality of food, the service, and the authentic Peruvian taste made this one of the best chifa meals I've had outside of Lima. Please, Chifa Du Kang, bring your delicious food to Houston - we have zero Peruvian restaurants that are even close to this good! You've definitely earned a lifelong fan! read more

Wow this chifa was delicious!!! Exactly what I was looking for in a chifa spot. Amazing Chinese food but with Peruvian flavor. Everything was big portions with lots of different protein. We ordered the wonton soup, the egg rolls, and the noodle with chaufa rice combo. The dishes were very filling, would be great spot to share options with big family style.
