My family and I have been coming to this Chilis for at least a decade. I think it's a test Chili's, as Brinker HQ is just down the street, and they were the first to switch from the glass glasses to plastic glasses long ago. Anyway, service has always been a problem here. First they assigned 2 servers per table, which somehow cut down on server availability. Now they have the computer thing at your table that has a camera and a microphone (what are they doing with video of us?!). Service is slower than ever. Our favorite servers got replaced or left, and it takes 10 minutes to get anything - water, a to-go box - even when the restaurant is less than half full. I still go out of habit, but even though the food is fine, it's not worth it. read more

This was my first time at this Chili's and everything was wonderful. The food, drinks, dessert and the service was nothing but exceptional. I was there with my sister and our waiter was very nice and attentive. My only problem was that my visit didn't last long enough. You can always count on decent food with Chili's. Usually okay service, but this visit was just not up to par service-wise. It looked like all the other servers were moving and on point, but ours was not. I worked as a server for years, and I just don't think she is cut out for it. Very awkward with the table, and each time there was a mistake or something wasn't brought that we had asked for she got on her headset - - and AT THE TABLE would be like "hey why y'all haven't brought .... x" or ask for a comp, or the right bar drink, whatever it was, it "wasn't her fault". I just feel she should have stepped away from the table to do this. Also... there were a lot of problems from the wrong bar drink twice, to issues where she probably didn't ring in food correctly. At the end she picked up the electronic station at the table and held it to run each card... and I'm pretty sure this was to avoid comments about her instead of "helping" us swipe our cards. It was all kind of bizarre. I'll always go to Chili's, but maybe this location should just review protocol about those headsets and best practices for service at tables. I don't usually go to Chilis but every time I come here, the staff is incredible. My drink is never empty and neither is my chip basket! My favorite thing about this location is EVERYONE helps out. So I went out to eat on a Sunday with my family to this location. When we arrived, there wasn't a wait. That was nice. The wait staff was friendly and my family likes the place because of the wide menu selection. We entered my dog's info and acted like she was a real person so we could get free chips. The chips were big. I didn't try them tho because the rest of my family ate them. We got fried pickles then but they were really hot. I burned my tongue. They were good tho but that didn't feel good. The food is generally reasonably priced tho. It took a while for the main courses to come out. By the time I got my flatbread, the pizza was no longer warm. That was sad. Otherwise, it tasted alright. I then had the cookie skillet dessert and that was pretty tasty, not gunna lie. Also, after I got my main course I didn't get a refill on my water until after the dessert came, and that was sad. I realize that servers are probably very busy, but I still would like faster service in that regard. In summary, the food was ok. Service was meh. It was reasonably priced. Solid 3/5. read more

This five star review is simply because of the service! I wish I could remember my servers name but I forgot :(. The food was okay, I normally order the triple dipper and this time I stepped out of my comfort zone. I ordered the chipotle chicken with waffles, it was okay but I don't think my chicken was done. Went to chilis again, this is my second trip but to a different location and I have to say I am equally impressed. I even got to see the band the SUN BABIES again and they were even more awesome, they played some different songs like "I've got to go" and "peace of mind" all were amazing. This time I had the margarita chicken plate. I went for a lighter meal today. But is was delicious. Before leaving I took a poop in a spotless restroom where I could still hear and rock out the the SUN BABIES for real guys you should check this band out on Facebook. I don't like this Chili's quite as much as some others and can't quite pinpoint why. The last time I was there, I thought our waitress was great and if anything overly chipper. First time to this location, I had no idea it was even over here, kind of hidden. Anyways we came in with a group of five or six we got into a huge booth which was great. They now have this system now that you may order apps, drinks and play games all from this little device they have located at their tables. Our server was nice and friendly, the service was not great but it was not bad. We were able to split and pay for our meal all from our table which is very nice and convenient when your ready to leave. All and all good place.Also the food! Everyone knows and has been to Chili's and is aware of the type of food they had.I do not eat meat but do fish so I tried the crusted tilapia it was amazing! Eat here at your own health risk. While they managed to ignore all the customizations to my order including put jalapeños on a kid's nacho order what I observed while waiting on my order was sickening. From the to go area I could see into the kitchen. I watched a guy set down a tray and then proceed to remove French fries from a bin and with his bare hands and put them into baskets for a table. He wiped his hands on his jeans and then continued dipping his hands into bin and filling the baskets. If this wasn't bad enough I watch a lady working the cash register and talking on the telephone go to the kitchen and without washing her hands or putting on gloves open a bag of tortillas and take them out and put them inn a warmer and then retrieve from the warmer with her bare hands and place them in aluminum foil. I watched another remove nachos from a plate after using the cash register and place them in a to go box with her bare hands. If this is just what I saw I can imagine what else is going on in the kitchen. Health department needs to pay a surprise visit. Good luck to those who have consumed food her. They seemed understaffed which is not a surprise for a Brinker Restaurant which only focuses on the bottom line. I ordered the bottomless soup and salad to play it safe. After ordering it and finishing my Arnold Palmer a man sat down next to me and ordered a Chicken entree. Doesn't his entree come out before my soup which is already made sitting in the expo line and a salad that all you have to do is throw lettuce in a bowl. I have given up on Chilis - in Texas anyway.
