What happened to the stellar server we had last time?!?! Tonight's service with the male Hispanic server (w/feminine voice) turned into a sh1t show. After putting in our orders, he disappeared, then returned with our drinks but didn't bother to give us (personally) each ordered drink, instead leaving it in a haphazard pile to sort out ourselves. Next he returned a while after to give us false gouge on the soup my friend ordered. He looked at me and told me about the soup fiasco when it wasn't even I that ordered the soup. After disappearing yet again, a second server (female) visited our table and told us different info from what the other guy told us. We finally receive our food in a timely manner, and things went fairly well until the end. Our male server asked us if we wanted a dessert, to which I replied, "what do you got?" I handed him the menu and he pointed to the MEAL SIDES section, and then disappeared for the rest of the night. No joke, after pointing us to more sides instead of the dessert we were looking to order, he disappeared and never came back to our table again. Needless to say, we paid our bill electronically through their table tablet. I left exactly $0 tip, as I felt the device was undeserving of any earned tip. Did I mention they were not completely swamped busy? In our last visit, a different server busted his @$$ making sure we were taken care of you money paying patrons. Where was the guy at? Checked in yesterday for a quick toxic Parental escape lunch and the food TOTALLY annihilated the spot!!! I ordered the Signature Mushroom Swiss Hamburguesa with a fresh house salad with honey mustard instead of fries. Signing in to the Member's club gave me a beautiful delicious basket of salsa and chips too, which paired perfectly with their housemade guacamole. All the ingredients were fresh and served at the best temperatures, you can tell the Back of the House Management is on their John Wick Culinary Fu A Game. Best service I have had in the many times that I have been to a Chilis and believe me I have gone a lot. Our server Reece was so attentive. Came by several times to check on us. Anticipated our need for refills without needing to ask. Very polite, friendly and professional. She made this dining experience very enjoyable. Highly recommend this Chilis. I love Chili's food. This location has been messing up on my orders recently. I called in and ordered a Santa Fe Salad and an appetizer over the phone. When I got there, they had my food ready, but in different bags. And I paid separately too. Why? So, when I gave her my name, she told me my total. It was under $15.00. I though, that's odd... after I swiped my card, I questioned her. I said, shouldn't it be more for both items? She looked lost. Then I looked in my bag, it was only my salad. I asked her about the appetizer, and she said "it's here in this (separate) bag."... at this point, I'm not gonna argue for having an extra bags"...since California charges for them! But, I couldn't understand why the transaction was separate? Oh well.. moving on. Went home to enjoy my salad, and the dressing was Italian dressing. We were told that they would have to split us up unless we had children to sit on laps, we absolutely agreed to lap sit since our daughter is 2. So we waited 20+ minutes to be seated and once we came in to be seated they tried to split us up again! And we're like you guys told us if we sat 6 with 1 in our lap we could sit together.....so what changed? They had plenty of 6 seat tables but for whatever reason they needed to split us up. So moral of the story, if you have a party larger than 4 they will try to split you up and make you feel horrible about it when you try to sit together. NOT WORTH IT! Met up with a friend for lunch on New Years Eve and this was the halfway spot. I've eaten here several times and while it's normally pretty decent, my visit on Monday was fairly mediocre. We both ordered a side salad to be brought out before our entree and before we could add our dressings, our entrees came out. Our drinks were also only refilled when we asked for them and our server was hard to find. Nonetheless, this is normally a good location. This is what great service looks like that deserves top of the line tip. I was shocked to have that level of service at our local chilies. A vegan review. Although, this is a traditional meat establishment, there are many chain restaurants that have added vegan options to their menus, unfortunately, this is not one of them. I met with a group of co-workers for lunch, knowing there is not a single vegan entree or burger they offer and that I'd be limited to ordering some sides. I had the chips and guacamole. Sides of: beans, rice, steamed broccoli. I think the only other items vegan were tortillas and fries? The manager came to the host stand after we had been waiting 5 minutes to assist new guests that walked in, a party of 2. He took them directly to a table. When I asked why we were quoted 10 to 15 and the next party was sat immediately, I was told "a two top available". I then pointed out several open tables. Great food to eat in or take out. Ribs are tasty and give several options for sauces and side dishes. When ordering out they are timely and punctual. If they say 20 minutes be there before or on time to get your food piping hot. Most of their servers are super friendly and attentive. Located in the same area as Target, it is hard to miss because it is literally at the southwest corner of Grand Ave. and Golden Springs Dr. It gets packed Friday evenings, but I have been here so many times that waiting is not even an issue for me. I love that the staff here are very friendly and accommodating, as well as quick and understanding. My usual orders are baby back ribs or a fish dish (the tilapia is pretty amazing, guys, especially the mango salsa!). I've had probably all their margaritas and my beer of choice is Blue Moon. I have also had Long Island cocktails, which are good too. I rarely am at the bar area because I usually dine with friends or family, so having a table gives us the opportunity to do our own thing. read more

I love this Chili's location. I'm staying at hotel down the street and ordered twice already. Last night was takeout - Cajun Chicken Pasta=FIRE. I don't why but the Cajun Chicken Pasta tastes noticeably better at this Chili's than the one back home in Kahala Mall. And today I did dine in, ordering Chicken Fajitas. The dude who helped me with my order, Joshua, was very positive vibes and welcoming. I appreciated that after a day of doing battle. And the food itself was great - generous chicken portion and bell peppers, onions on a sizzling platter that intoxicated my nose as it arrived at the table. It also came with several corn and flour tortillas wrapped individually to keep warm, and a thing with salsa, sour cream, guacamole and cheese on a tray compartmentalized. And a little bowl of black beans. Ah man, I made several wraps with everything besides the sour cream and it really was what the doctor ordered. And the dish itself was only $17.99. What?! It pains me to write this review because I have great memories at chilis when I was a kid. I guess my taste buds have developed or the standard of food at chilis has substantially decreased. I honestly haven't eaten at chilis for probably 10 years but my friend wanted to eat here on her birthday. We came for lunch and there was people piled in the waiting area. There were 6 groups of people ahead of us but half the restaurant was empty. It's cool though I guess they weren't adequately staffed that day but I remember noting the faces of a few patrons who looked annoyed like they were waiting a long time for their food. The service turned out to be good. We ended up getting the 2 for $22 dinner which is one appetizer and two full sized entrees. Our appetizer came out right away. We got the chips and salsa but we waited quite a while for the entrees. I got the grilled chicken fajitas. The chicken looked and tasted like frozen TV dinner chicken and the beans and rice were both too salty and without other flavor at the same time. My friend liked her ribs though. They give you a scoop of birthday ice cream for free and sing to you which is fun. The restaurant is nice but the food tastes like they just microwaved a frozen meal. First, I would like to say that Austin is an amazing server- I asked for his name because I want him to know that this 1 star review is not his fault. My broccoli was cold and somehow burnt at the same time. I love talking to waiters and waitresses because I am a manager at a restaurant myself and when I asked to speak to the manager I was informed that he left off of his shift early and left his staff (3 people) alone during a pretty full restaurant. Chillis corporate I hope you investigate the fact that Tim does not care about the well being of his staff. Probing the people in the restaurant further I learned that NO ONE this night got lunches or breaks- which is Tim's job to oversee... anywho I would like to speak on Wendy for a moment never have I met a more rude waitress/bartender. I heard her talking about me in the back... I'll leave it at that. So unprofessional. Chillis do better, treat your people better, train your staff more thoroughly, and give your people their breaks!! Very disappointed and won't be back due to unethical business practices. This location is a nice add to the chain. It's located in a nice area and is well maintained. As soon as you walk in you can see that it's a popular spot. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Wether you sit in the bar area, table, or booth, you will be comfortable and enjoy your visit. The food is always delicious and reasonably priced. If you like alcoholic beverages, their variety won't disappoint. From beer to cocktails, they will provide whatever you're craving. Jason our waiter came by maybe 3 time to our table. Never got our ice tea so I had to bother the host, pasta was WELL over cooked. In general, wasn't good. Apparently no one in the Diamond Bar Chili's is the least bit responsible for customers who are not dining at peak hours. We went in at 3:00 PM for a late lunch. No one sat us or served us until we went and rousted someone ourselves! The food order took FOREVER and each plate in the order was WRONG!!! The staff who delivered the food was beyond uncaring! And the only saving grace was a kind server from the other side of the restaurant who finally figured out we were unhappy, if not downright furious, and attempted to salvage the meal!!
