This location had a great server that was new, but as were finishing up and my sister came back from the restroom with a huge bug on her and it flew onto myself. I screamed and with not one server OR even manager (who was sitting one booth over from us rolling silverware and playing on his phone) gave us any kind of apology or showed any remorse for the huge bug! I'm pissed about it and disgusted that the restaurant didn't give a crap about it so apparently this must happen often. The only reason I'm even giving one star is because our server was great and attentive to our needs. His name was Gabriel. The unconcerned manager that is still in the same spot is named Bryan/ Brian. I would gladly add the picture of the bug but one server stepped on it and pushed it aside. read more

I always hated coming here, because i just felt like the quality of the food is disguting and i rather use my calories elsewhere! I came here during a team lunch at work and was pleasantly surprised by the new menu and the taste of the food. I got the bacon ranch quesadillas. bacon in a quesadillas? yes please! wow was this fresh and delicious, i loved the saltiness of the bacon mixed with the savory chicken. the chicken tasted fresh and quality, not like the many other times I have had food here at chilis! thank you for changing things up and changing my mind about this place! read more

I think Chili's is a joke now. When you get more potatoes than the amount of chicken and broccoli combined, that's a freaking problem. I ordered chicken tenders and ended up to chicken scraps, and the broccoli was nothing like it used to be. Super disappointed. read more

So I'm shocked and surprised that a Chili's got a 3-star review from me. They usually average 2 stars. Or fewer. I had eaten an incredibly late and big lunch, but I met J at this location because she wanted dinner. I thought I'd get a dessert or an app or something and be set. Since I didn't have to eat a full meal here, I was fine. Wait was relatively short for 2 adults + an infant, which was good. Hostess was pleasant enough, but she did spend some time wiping down/clearing a table after seating the party ahead of me before she came back over. My friend was running late due to an unexpected and extended phone call, so I sat at the table and did what I always do if I don't have a book.. I played Angry Birds. And yelled at those damn pigs. Waiter came by and got me a Dr Pepper. Refills were always prompt, which is much appreciated when I'm craving the Pepp. When my friend, J, finally arrived, we decided to get a couple of appetizers and she would get a salad or something. I was planning on getting the Skillet Queso anyway, so we got an order of that, plus salsa. Then she wanted to get the Fire-Roasted Corn Guacamole. I hate guacamole. It just tastes like slime to me. Not sure if I've just been unlucky to constantly be trying lame guac, or what... Well, this stuff came out, and I decided to try it. I do love me some fire-roasted corn. ...And I liked it. Not only did I just eat that one bite, I ate about 1/3 of it. Holy crap surprising. Not sure if it was the corn (and flavor of the fire-roasting) or what, but it was good! Would actually consider returning to Chili's of my own accord to get this. Chili's AND guacamole getting a good review from me. Is it the Apocalypse? Are those 4 horsemen I see in the distance? Now, on to the cons: -Something smelled weird. Not sure if it was in the air vents or the kitchen or whatever cleaning solution they use to wipe down the tables.. but 4-5 times throughout dinner, the weird funk wafted my way. Appetizing. -Very small serving of that surprisingly tasty Guac. For $5, we got barely enough for two of us. Had we not ALSO had the queso, I would've been pretty pissed. This serving is considerably smaller than I've seen at other restaurants for a similar price. -J didn't want the beans that came with chicken she wound up ordering (so much for the salad), so she wanted to substitute the 'seasonal veggies', which turned out to be carrots/broccoli. They were pre-mixed, so you can't separate them out, and she hates carrots. She wound up getting corn on the cob instead, and was happy with it.. but it just sucks that it's mixed veggies or bust. -The check was a bit high. I'm not sure if they charged full price for the queso AND the guac (rather than adding one on to account for not double-charging for chips) or what, but for two people to have some appetizers and ONE person to get a chicken entree, it was over $30. We used gift cards, so we didn't care as much as we would've done otherwise, but still. -Salt. As usual, things were quite salty. From the chips, the salsa, the queso, and even the guac (I don't think it was a bad thing on the guac, because it accounted for the sweetness of the corn, but it was definitely there). I feel dehydrated. -The desserts. I loathe Chili's dessert menu as it generally sucks. Seriously, everything is chocolate with ONE exception: their awful cheesecake. Chocolate molten cake, special promo Choco/peanut butter molten cake, chocolate paradise pie, chocolate brownie sundae, chocolate milkshake. Well damn. If you don't like chocolate (like me), you're out of luck. As far as Chili's restaurants go, this one is average. Nice enough staff, prompt refills, etc. But seriously, try that new Guacamole. read more

We saw a female server (not our's) lick a napkin and use it to clean off the screen of the tablet (ziosk) that's on the table, a woman clip her fingernails at the table next to us, and though there were at least 20 other tables empty - we were say right next to the bathrooms. I've gone here multiple times because it just so happens to be my local Chili's. In general, the service can be okay, but there have been several times where they've gotten my takeout order wrong. On this particular eat-in visit, the food and the service was especially bad. I ordered the Jalapeno Smokehouse Burger and burger was incredibly dry, the cheese was congealed, and the bacon was so thick that I mistook it for a Beggin' Strip for dogs. The service seemed to be rushing me out the door, especially when they brought my check when I wasn't even halfway done with my meal. I will be sure to go to a different Chili's next time. read more

Had a meal here during the day. Way better customer service and service in general. Food came out quick. Waitress was attentive. Food was cooked well. Also, I'm a big fan of the little gadget they have at each table that enables you to swipe your card whenever you are ready, AND prints out the receipt on the spot. Moves everything along. read more

My husband and I ate here last night. We've been watching our weight and trying to cut calories, so there were only a few things on the menu that met our requirements. Our server was great. I can't recall his name, but he had a very deep voice, and sounded like he could be doing commercials. My husband had the avocado sirloin, and I had the grilled chicken salad. Someone in another review mentioned the lights going off, and it happened with us too. I'd recommend they get their wiring checked, before a dangerous overload happens. Back to the food. My husband said his steak was the best he's had, with a seared outside and a very tender inside--I was envious. My salad was good, though I'm not a fan of onions in the black bean and corn salsa. Overall, the service was quick and friendly, the food was tasty--even within our low-cal expectations, and the atmosphere was upbeat and engaging. This location is usually pretty good! A few months ago I sat at a cocktail table and the not very friendly bartender got our drink order. The manager came by to get our food order, didn't write it down, and it came out all wrong because he didn't want to write it down. He fixed our food and brought it out, we never had anybody come to our table for the rest of our stay. The bartender who originally asked for our drinks stayed behind the bar and served her other tables but never came back to us. We were out of water the whole time and needed things, and as a fellow waitress I was just plain confused on who our "server" was. We decided we wouldn't be helped again so we left cash and left. I and my boyfriend ate here just this afternoon, and it was our second time in. We were greeted nicely both times, and seated straight away, and our waitress (Chelsea), was right with us, and had our drinks and food out quickly for us. She was also very kind and we will probably ask for a seat in her section next time we're in. I also have to say that the management at this location seem very put together and very kind. Food was awful. Order was wrong. Things were forgotten. Server started out cranky and then realized that the table behind us didn't leave a tip then her whole demeanor changed. I was there with my dad on thursday, and we recieved such horrible service. It took us like 10 minutes to be sat. I'd understand if it was actually busy, but this place was not busy at all. On top of that, our server took a very long time to even greet us and get our drinks out. And when we did get our drinks, they were the wrong ones. Came here a little while ago with my boyfriend and had the Cajun Chicken & Pasta and the Classic Sirloin - rare. Although my steak magically turned into chicken fajitas when our server, Matthew, arrived with our food, he and the manager apologized and brought me my steak. Both the server and manager were incredibly kind and accommodating. Our server also offered me a house salad while I waited. The steak is usually really good for the price, tonight it was a little chewy and I ate too many chips and salsa and I couldn't help but taste test my boyfriend's dinner, so I wasn't terribly hungry anymore anyways - whoops! But I highly recommend this location for the service and food. MUCH better than the Irving location and the manager made sure to check with us throughout the rest of our meal to make sure we were still doing well and if we needed anything else. We all know that when you go to a chain restaurant that your level of expectation should not be set too high. It's just you want it to be good. When I lived in Carrolton I stopped eating at Chilis there because they were always out of everything and always got my to-go orders wrong. Tonight, eating at this location and off the bat they are out of the appetizer we want. To top it off, service is extremely slow. Our waitress is very nice but they have her covering way too many tables. Think I'm going to give up on Chilis altogether, I don't eat out often and for them to always be out of things is very disappointing. read more
