The kid's pasta came with no sauce and burnt chicken while the Santa Fe burger was over cooked, cold at the center, and extremely dry. Whoever the girl that worked the bar area on Friday 1/17/25 around 6-6:30 should probably reevaluate her job (was wearing a pink chilis shirt and caterpillar eyelashes, that are a health violation by the way). Me and my guest walked in, was told by the host that the bar is open seating, which is usually how it is, so we walk that way, the server turns her back towards us and doesn't let us through. As soon as we go to squeeze by her rude self she turns and snaps, not tells us, but snaps at us and says she's not taking any more tables because she's "overwhelmed " when there was only a couple of people sitting in her section. Once we told her the hostess told us to sit here she looked at us both with a disgusting look on her face and told us we can't eat there because she's "overwhelmed ". I've worked in the food industry and understand how overwhelming business can be but I knew what I signed up for. If you or your staff can't handle the fast paced environment, they don't need to be working there. ESPECIALLY with a crappy attitude. Instead of waiting the 45 minute wait we were told (for me and one other guest) we went across the street to Olive Garden, was sat immediately, got our drinks and food before the 45 minute mark we were going to wait at chilis. This place intentionally skimps or completely leaves out ingredients and primary parts of dishes that should be served to you when you order the food as advertised. Cutting corners is the go-to mode of operation here. At least 3 separate occasions already I order something and it is missing the main components that actually make up the dish. If I order a boss burger I want EVERYTHING that COMES ON THE MENU WITH THAT ITEM. You literally have ONE JOB and you manage to screw it up. Either on purpose because you're sad and petty looking to cut corners and rip customers off or because you simply have no regard for the experience of the customer, in which case you shouldn't be working at a restaurant. Second time here in span of 3-4 years, came on a Friday night, just after happy hour :( Happy hour is from 3pm -7 pm. I arrived at 7:00 PM with my in laws & fmy boyfriend for a dinner. I came here the other day for a quick lunch with my mom and grandma and we had a pretty good experience. When we first walked in, it took a minute or two for us to be greeted and seated. Once we were seated, we were greeted by our server pretty quickly. Our server was nice and pretty on top of it. I started with the "Chicken Enchilada Soup" which I remember being one of my favorites there. It still was as good as I remember--hot, cheesy, and delicious! For my entree, I ordered "Original Chicken Crispers" with asparagus and garlic roasted tomatoes, and "Southwestern Mac' n' Cheese." It was a rather large portion which was cool. The chicken crispers were also as good as I remember. They're on the greasy side, but still pretty good. I wasn't as pleased with the asparagus--it was pretty tough and hard to eat. The garlic roasted tomatoes were pretty good. The mac' n' cheese was just okay--sort of standard with some peppers in it. For all of the food that we got, the prices were pretty good! I love the system that they have at every table where you can immediately get and pay your bill. I would HIGHLY recommend searching for scan-able coupons on your smart phone. I tried this and was able to find a $10 off scalable coupon! I was so excited about this! It immediately took $10 off of our bill. Our experience at Chili's Moreno Valley today was the prime example of People going to work for the collection of a paycheck rather than doing their job with excellence or at least to the best of their ability. My husband informed the assistant manager Adrian that his plate looked very little like the menu picture and the quesadillas were not fresh. She apologized and said she would have another made. The general manager Sylvia comes over and says she will make him another plate but there was nothing wrong with the first one. My husband then went into detail about the issues he was having and she was insistent nothing was wrong with the original plate. Sylvia, do you not realize your thoughts on the matter mean nothing!!! What ever happened to the philosophy the customer is always right? Not only is this a meal my husband is trying to enjoy with the poor presentation but we are paying for this meal so if he is not satisfied remake the plate or ask if he wants something else. I'm sure people out here work just as hard as people in other areas, why should you be subjected to a s***** food and s***** service. I can't believe that this is what you guys put up with. I was just passing through and thought I would stop a restaurant and this is what I got for my food. Not only was the food horrible, my dog wouldn't eat it, but also the service was absolutely horrendous. I don't understand why people go to work like this and don't want better for themselves. The bartender was one of the worst bartenders I've ever experienced in my entire life. I come from the hospitality industry and I hate it when people say that but she should definitely know better. I typically tip 30% regardless of the service but for her I only give 3%. I feel bad for whoever owns this restaurant. But we can fix this, I specialize in fixing restaurants like this . The first order of ribs was so dry, I thought I ordered the rib jerky, lol....since service was above and beyond, they happily tried to correct them. Better but not better was the theme! Dry on the ends, super fatty and tasted like the propane/gas they tried to re-create them on....maybe that's what happens when you try to send back post Covid? We asked for a booth and got told it would be a 5 minute wait and that we could just have a seat and wait. After waiting more than 5 minutes, about 30 or more in the end, we saw two separate groups that arrived after us get seated in booths before us. In what world is that fair? When I asked the host why they got seated and not us he said he could just sit us at the bar even though we had already told him we wanted a booth and he had already acknowledged that. We would've had to get signed up all over again and wait even longer to get seated. After waiting a little while we just went and sat at the bar. The waitress in the bar area was wonderful. My boyfriend and I had to ask for napkins, silverware, and we even had to tell our server when we were ready to order. Very inattentive towards us. Our order was taken incorrectly and we ended up being overcharged. We still tipped even after she spilled water all over me. I was frustrated so i wanted to leave. We paid, left, got home & then realized we didn't even get our dessert that was paid for. The only thing that was seasoned well were the fries. Both of my roommates said their food was dry as well, but we all still managed to finish our food.
