We are getting spoiled in OKC with fabulously unique cuisine and some culinary masterpieces so I find it harder and harder to enjoy a meal at most chain restaurants. This location, in particular, had pretty lousy service and was really dirty inside. My shoes were so sticky after leaving the bar area that I took them off in the car. I love Chili's, but not on this visit. Our server was great, bringing us extra ice, lemon, & Splenda for our ice teas. I ordered the Cajun Chicken Pasta. I didn't say anything, because I was really hungry but the plate was hotter than the pasta. Then, I didn't even realize the cook forgot to serve me my garlic toast until our server brought the same dish to a lady at a nearby table. Went here late at night after picking my mom from the airport. For one thing, it was the only real place open, which is a huge plus. They reinvented their entire menu. I ordered some healthy steak avocado thing for 410 calories. It was damn good for that amount of calories. The new menu makes you feel like you're at a new Chili's. read more

In town for business. Wanted to get a lil something to tide me over until dinner. Sat at the bar for a cold local IPA and appetizer. Cherokee, the lovely lady behind the bar, is a golden nugget and they need to recognize this. She took care of a fellow patron with compassion and finesse. I stopped in for a late evening dinner/appetizer. Paid my bill using the box on the table. It was my fault for never looking at the itemized bill. When I returned from my trip, the emailed receipt showed I paid for several beers and chips/salsa, not what I had ordered. Total expense was similar to my meal but my receipt showed purchasing alcohol with company credit card. I contacted them and they jumped on the issue immediately. Service was great. Folks were friendly, and the chips and salsa were very good. I ordered the soup and salad. Lackluster. The salad was ok, but just didn't WOW me. The soup? I ordered the chicken enchilada and the loaded baked potato. Not as good as I remember (i've avoided Chili's for years - too much salt in my food in the past) ... but this time - the soups tasted like they've gone through a "re-do" - and less like home made and more like from a can. Chain restaurant, so obviously this isn't top quality food. But it has been decent in all my experiences. I have never had slow service, but then I also tend to go during the slower times so service is more prompt. The servers have also always been great with my two young children, which goes a long way in my book. My most recent meal was the fajitas. There was a variety of toppings, but not much of any of them. The corn tortillas were likely heated up dry in a microwave, so they were stiff and kind of crumbly (tip: lightly brush both sides of a corn tortilla with oil, pop in an oven at 350 for a few minutes). But everything still tasted ok. The watermelon margarita, while very tasty, was on the weak side. Still, I'm a sucker for watermelon anything and I wouldn't hesitate to order it again. read more

It was what you would expect from a typical chain restaurant. The food was fine, service was fine, building was fine...it was fine. I had a healthy lunch, which is the main reason I chose here. I knew I could get the grilled chicken breast, with black beans, and substituted broccoli for rice. The breast was nice and juicy, and the black beans had a good flavor. Good chain food. Havent been to a Chilis in years. The Menu had a little bit of everything. Good for a chain restaurant. Potato skins were a little undercooked and portion was embaressing for $8. Had baby back ribs with a dry rub. They looked, I say again.. looked.. gross. BUT I was pleasently surprised by the rub on them. Very tasty for chain food. Not worth $12 but it worked for tonight. Last evening my husband and I ate at this Chili's. The food and service were both good. As we were leaving I pushed open the left door and there is a raised concrete planter. As I went out the door I caught my foot on it and fell to the ground. I am 58 years old and the fall was not what my body needed. My right wrist to shoulder are sprained, I scraped both palms and left knee. Needless to say it was and still is very painful. We spoke to the manager on duty who stated it has happened several times and been reported to their corporate office but nothing has been done to remedy the problem. I got the phone number from her so I can call in a complaint and find out where to send my medical bills. If you eat at this restaurant please be careful exiting the business. I ate at the bar. While consuming my entree, a street alcoholic sat at the bar next to me and began to harass me to buy him a beer because he did not have enough money. The harassment continued for at least 10 minutes in direct view of the bartender. The bartender chose to do nothing about the situation. I decided to take action by requesting the manager from another server at the opposite end of the restaurant. After I had already requested the manager, the bartender saw me standing and waiting for the manager to arrive...and decided -too late - to help summon the manager. The manager came out and asked the street alcoholic to leave successfully. When I spoke to the manager afterward, he did not apologize or offer to do anything to make my experience better. When I received my bill, I was surprised that a small discount was not applied to my check due to the awful experience. I then summoned the manager again who was surprised that I even asked him why he did not at least offer any token of retribution for the slow reaction to being harassed. He was indifferent and told me to take it up with corporate. When I dine at Chilis, I expect to be well taken care of by staff. The slow reaction to the vagrant presented a security risk to me and other patrons. The experience also has turned me from a dedicated customer to a skeptical and disguntled one. The managers indifference was insult to injury...and could easily have been handled differently. read more

Don't even bother with the online ordering. I'm serious. They are totally incapable of getting it right. And whatever you do, don't pay for extra sides.
