Can get very crowded but when you want to catch a game and have some crowd to watch with, that can be a plus. I've eaten here many many times and tried a lot of their menu but the thing I'll come back for is the Cheeseburger, Fries and Beers. This place totally sucked balls!!!! Never again,,,, not even sure why we came but never again! The food to start off was delivered all at separate times,,, then to top it off none of the food was even hot!! .... the broccoli and asparagus wasn't cooked, basically raw!!! We asked for utensils and that was like 15-20 mins,, we waited for refills like 30 mins,,, our server sucked and it was evident no one there was happy either as plenty of other tables were pissed,,,, it's no wonder they only have 2 stars!!!! If I could give less than one star, I absolutely would. We came in to eat around 9 o'clock we ordered some drinks and some food we had to ask for napkins. The food came out cold we were offered plastic silverware to eat with one of our guest had ordered a steak and was trying to cut that steak with the plastic silverware that we have been given. We had broken chips that were like the bottom of the barrel like awful no ice in the drinks so we basically we just got up and left all the food there. The manager, Kevin was awful didn't even have a reason as to why we were given plastic, silverware when everyone else had regular silverware and all the food was just cold I would not recommend this restaurant if I was starving to death, and I had no food to eat for a month, they're awful the people that work there are awful. The management is awful. The whole experience was awful. I can't say awful enough don't go here it's disgusting and their bathrooms are disgusting. They let me down! I still enjoy the hamburgers, the service is always good, but the cup of chili. Chili's makes a pretty good chili. It comes in a "cup" or a bowl. The "cup" was like a tea cup, dainty. Even worse, the chili didn't taste fresh. I will not pay almost $3 for a "cup" that has about 8-9 teaspoons in it! arghh... I really wanted to love this place, but what can I say, we tried two times at two different Chili's and they both disappointed us. The food.. how come every time we pass Chili's they smell so good but the food taste so bad? We tried the burger (Jalapeno burger and four slides burger). The meat were not up to a restaurant standard. For a fast food standard, maybe yes. The meat taste awful, you can tell that it has been on the freezer for so long, and you just put seasoning over it and the cook just pan fried it with grease and oil. Horrible service to say the least!!! 1st off I've never been to a Chili's where you have to check-in with hostess and wait to be seated at the bar, especially when there is available seats. So we have no choice but to check-in and then wait just so not one but THREE couples get seated before us! When we ask the hostess why she had not only skipped us but another couple and her excuse was "I thought you wanted a table". Well if that was really the excuse, there was also tables available and we came in and had gone straight to the bar when we were told to see the hostess. Needless to say we left and the other couple that also got overlooked left. Now I understand why another couple that was leaving as we were coming in had said that the people that helped them were rude and they were going elsewhere! Fuck that place!! Ordered food online at Almaden Chili's on June 11 pick up time was 6:32 got there and there was about 20 people in the parking lot. We didn't get our food until 7:20. Called inside said they were just waiting on one item. 20 minutes later I called again and was told they would Check on it and put me on hold no one ever came back. Call back to talk to a manager they told me they would get a manager and no one ever came back on the phone. Going to try to call back today. They should really update the app with correct times. I pretended to place another order while I was waiting and it said the wait was 27 minutes. Which was way wrong. All I want is the truth. Waiting in the car for 45 minutes was ridiculous. Then when we got home and our drinks the ice was almost fully melted and our food was lukewarm so we had to reheat it in the microwave. The food it taste good. Ordered for curbside pick up at 6:55pm and received a notification that my order was ready for pick up at 7:30pm. I let them know I was there to pick up my order, they said that my order would be ready in 5 minutes. So, 20 minutes later the waiter comes out and CONFIRMS my order. 10 minutes later they bring my drinks (frozen margaritas). I ask how much longer they said "your order is ready just waiting on the ribs". I'm waiting there contemplating if I should wait or cancel because at this point I've waited too damn long. So, right when I'm about to cancel they show up with my order. My margaritas are no longer frozen and they refused to remake them. Frustrated as I was I got home and my food is cold!! Yes COLD! Lets just say: I'm not sure where the management got their training or experience at this place. This restaurant is never clean, always food etc on the floor, kitchen is always messy and dirty. Just take a quick peek. Last few times at this location with friends always ended up with 45-60 min waiting for the food,and most of the orders were Cold. If you ask for well done or medium .... guess what, doesn't matter what you say, it's always half cooked. Only thing that gets the people coming in is the 3 for $10. First off, I'm really not a fan of chain restraurants, its usually hit or miss with these places, and I don't like supporting these generic places. However, with my boyfriend's family, they tend to like these type of places which is understandable since his parents are still raising some little ones. So the extra stars go to the fact that Chilli's was giving all of their proceeds from their dinner sales to St. Jude's Hospital. Not the generic 15%, but the whole sha-bang! So there you go, that's enough to make this yelper give in to giving a better review of said chain restaurant. But I would also like to add that they were pretty accomodating despite our large party of 11 and put us in a good location in the back since we did have a 1 year old in the group. Service was prompt, friendly and fairly quick, and the food was better than my experiances at their San Ramon location. Hopefully my boyfriend's family picks this place again because I'll take Chilli's over another dining adventure at Marie Calendars any day! read more

Let me start with the terrible service. Started with waiting a long time for table to be cleaned, went through a set of drinks and no food came. Then chips were brought but it looks like they ran out. Finally received partial order of food, hamburger was terrible tasted rotten. Then waited for drinks ate entire meal no drinks. I was really torn between giving this one or two stars. The little piggy in me wants to give it two, but really I know it should be one. Because really, the food isn't all that great. It seems that this place is *always* crowded at night (long wait for a table is to be expected). The cocktails seem watered-down. The food is mediocre and not good for you at all. The service is good, but the waitstaff don't seem too thrilled to be there (I don't blame them, and they try hard to fake it, so points for trying). It seems that every item on the menu is extremely high in sodium and calories. Now, I know most people don't come here for health food, but even the healthiest choices leave you having to choose between the one with very high calories or the one with very high sodium. You have to really modify your menu choice so as not to feel too ill. And I swear to god they water down the drinks there. Anyhow, I had taken a very long break from eating here and somehow the hubby and I found ourselves here recently. Decent service, watered down drink, glutton-filled and indulgent food and left not feeling very good afterwards physically. I don't think my heart and arteries can handle what I ate, and I didn't evne choose something even close to the worst item available healthwise. After waiting for one half-hour and being told "I've seen your order and it's still being prepared" I was finally presented with my order. This was my chili's to go location until yesterday I usually go with my family for dinner here cause we love the fajitas! Yesterday afternoon like all reviews say a lot of wait time due to employee shortage Also my family is Hispanic and we have never experienced this problem no where! There was my server and a young lady helping distribute the food It was so obvious she skipped our food and only took out the other customers food that had came in way long after us. We were the only Hispanics around at the moment and noticed she was being racist by not bringing our food to us! When my server saw we hadn't received our order he immediately went to take our food to our table and we noticed the meats were starting to get cold like if they had been sitting ready for awhile Really disappointed and will not be coming back! It's Chili's Frankie our server was friendly and nice. Came by quickly with waters and taking our orders. Checked in on us a few times. My son didn't know if he wanted the original or honey chiptole bbq sauce and Frankie offered to bring out a taste of the honey chiptole so he could make a decision. That was very nice. Ordered the old timer with cheese, which is my favorite when I go there. They changed the big diced onions to skinny onion slices. Overall the taste was the same, but i loved the big diced onions (I think it's because if you get a stringy piece of onion you are fighting with it) the steamed broccoli was a little overcooked, but happy to see the bbq ribs came with a veggie. they have the little ipads at the table for playing games (pay to play), to order drinks, dessert and check out. that was nice as it helped speed things along here and there. we got there before the crowds came in, which may explain why our service was different from the reviews I'm reading read more

Oh my god gross! Slipping on the way to the restroom, food all over the floors. The waiter dropped salsa in front of 2 other servers and just left it. I noticed the lunch menu is not really a lunch menu..lol. The items on the lunch menu are regular price but just the items below $10 bucks are listed. I'd suggest people just look at the regular menu and ignore the lunch menu. I ordered the Fajita Pita. The chicken was a bit cold, but I would of preferred it to be warmer.
