Chilis has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. The food is always good, honestly the triple dipper never gets old! They always have a featured monthly drink for around $5-$7 and a good selection of shareable appetizers. The waiters and waitresses are always very nice, prompt and accurate at this location I never have an issue here with the service and it's actually quite large and spacious with lots of booth and table seating and a bar which I think makes for a good dining experience. Worst host I've even seen because he doesn't seemed to care about anything (I was a server but never seen such attitude). He didn't even greet me (I greeted him first due to reflex), I said hi and he said hi and nothing else. I waited an awkward silence 15 second for him to tidy up the menus and whatever he thinks is more important than greeting a customer who just came in, he finally said something, which I couldn't even understand anyways because his voice was so low. I said "Two please" and he said "10-15". I know he meant 10-15 minutes but I proceed to ask "10 to 15 what" just to see what he will say, and he said minutes with attitude like he outsmarted me as it was a competition of being a smarta$$. It was almost 9 at night so I didn't even bother to wait and went across the street to dine in Applebee's, which has much welcoming and better service. The main reason is that why would I spend my money at a business where your host treated you like trash before you even went into the restaurant? I wouldn't even wanna know how their workers inside behave when their greeter sucks at greeting, like if he hates his job so much and not welcoming at all, why not just quit??? read more

I've been coming to this Chili's for a while and often get to go now because of the times. I was a frequent flier as a dine in customer before COVID-19. My usual order is a 3/$10. Tonight I ordered a salad as my appetizer to accompany the margarita chicken with black beans and rice. I'll start with the good things: the chicken was tender, the rice was seasoned well and the black beans were soupy but in a good way. The rice and beans mixed well together. Yum! I thoroughly enjoyed that part. However, my salad was extremely skimp. I popped open the styrofoam and found this (see picture). Luckily I had romaine hearts in my fridge at home. I had to add to it. Typical Chili's nothing too special about this one. It was pretty busy when we got there, but we were seated immediately and our waitress was nice. We ordered everything at once. I would say it took an average amount of time to come out & another waiter who just brought out our appetizers was kind in asking us what else we needed and getting it to us in a timely fashion. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and shrimp pasta and I ordered the turkey sliders. The only downside is how the patty is cut, two of my burgers only had a corner of meat in them. We went on a Saturday night and it was packed. The greeter was soft spoken didn't seem like she wanted to be there. Luckily the guy (seemed to be the manager) was able to hold it together and this made up for the greeter. It was packed and the staff was short handed. THIS PLACE WENT TO SHIT!!! This is the second time in a row (and was hesitant to order again) but I placed my order and ordered a 10 Oz sirloin RARE mind you and I went to go pick up my order and looked at my order it was a 6 Oz and they wanted to argue that it's a 10 Oz. EXCUSE me? I worked in the restaurant business for MANY yrs and that is NOT a 10 Oz sirloin. The cooks OBVIOUSLY don't know how to cook because it is NOT rare its more like on the medium side. Also missing a drink with one one of the orders. And when it came to the kids chicken and pasta my kids didn't want to eat that crap because the chicken looked as if it was cooked then was left over from the previous night. The last time I ordered they charged me for 2 extra sides for the kids meals and never got the sides. And AGAIN my steak was not cooked correctly like do these managers not do a practice run or check for references when they hire these people? They are also THEIEVES! The host was very rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. From the start she had an attitude and skipped seating our family. The general manager, Shane, then came up to help her and when I informed him he just did not seem to care and didn't address our concern even with proof to show him she was skipping us. When we sat down the service was great. Our server, Courtney, was busy but made it a point to let us know she would be right there. She quickly came back soon after. She checked on us many times, was quick, accurate, and attentive. She also had a server in training, Laylani, who was also outstanding. Asked whenever passing buy if there was anything we needed or anything she could do. Both ladies were great. As a someone who has experience in the restaurant business, specifically front of the house management, the general manager needs to focus on the daily operations of the restaurant such as ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation. He should hire a front of the house manager and keep himself in the office because he clearly has no people skills when interacting with guest. The host needs to learn how to adjust her attitude when dealing with guest and possibly do some training if the reason we were being skipped was due to lack of knowledge on her seating application. The servers were great, professionally and personality wise. These two will go far in the field especially if under the proper management. Maybe even apply to be front of the house managers so the General Manager can focus on administrative work. The food was good as well. Not a 5 star restaurant but still great food for Chili's. Would have received 5 stars if it was based on our food and servers but due to the frustration and rudeness from the host and general manager I gave 1/5! read more

They are busy and that could explain the issues we had this time, however I submit a well run restaurant and focused staff can handle anything. So last time my son got the Chicken Crispers salad and he was GIANT. We all said we are getting that next time for sure. Well this time he and I did, but at the same price, the salads had shrunk to like 1/2 what they were! I mean holy shmoley. Then the menu had a huge photo of their chix/steak/shrimp Fajitas that stunned my wife and she ordered it. What we got, which did taste good, was maybe a little more than 1/2 the portion shown. A tiny chic breast, a tiny portion of steak, and the shrimp were nickel-to-quarter size, not half-dollar size as shown. My petite 4'11", 99lb. wife wanted more and chuckled at the size. The younger kids ordered Chix Mac & Cheese with side salads and got decent portions for the kids menu. All the food tasted really good. No complaints there. But if you follow my other reviews, you know there is much more that goes into "value" at a restaurant, and if the portions are VERY GENEROUS for what meals out cost these days, it doesn't matter how good the taste is, it's a bad value. The time and date that I went the restaurant was extremely busy and there was about a twenty minute wait, but they had a good system to check in and you got a text when ready. Definitely join the Chilis rewards programs as a I took advantage of a free appetizer which was about a $14 dollar value. The service was good from Sparkle and she was pleasant and had a good personality. The food was excellent and could not believe the portions on the steak fajita. Always good, but never great. I have probably been to this location well over a dozen times and usually because my kids enjoy coming here. Located on VB Blvd in the Loehmann Plaza across the street from the VB Public main library. Signage is always good when it comes to chains and this is no different. Parking has always been plentiful on my visits and they also have curbside spaces where the staff can bring your food out, or walk in a side door avoiding the front entrance. No issues with debris on the walks, or parking lot. The hostess is always in place at the front door and friendly. On my most recent visit it was not busy at all and we were seated quickly and asked for a booth. I was surprised to see the new electronic check out/games on every table. I have heard about them, but yet to see them. Since the place was completely empty no issues that I saw with cleanliness. Our server was attentive to get drinks and food orders in. My kids really enjoyed the game gadget at the table and this seems like a great idea by Chili's. The kids menu is strong with variety and menu items. My daughter got the macaroni n' cheese and son cheeseburger and fries. I got the appetizer of Southwestern Egg rolls which is my favorite and fills me up enough as a full meal. Food was out in around 15-20 minutes by a runner. Food for the most part was hot, but I thought my son's fries were cold. Refills of drinks were necessary and not complete at the time food was delivered. We had to get another waitress to ask ours to come back. This has been a theme when they are busy, but no excuse here. The kids did enjoy there food as did I. But, what I will say is it's good, not great. Chili's is never my first choice in dining, my kids however seem to like it enough. We don't often dine here, but when we do there is a sense of emptiness, something missed, something that could have be improved that's reoccurring. This is the worst service I've ever received. Here's my review that I also filled out on the Chili's Survey they sent me. For the past two orders, they kept messing up on my side order of ranch. At first whenever I ordered a cup of ranch I would get the correct side, however after that they stopped giving me the correct order. The first time I ordered a side of ranch, it was forgotten. The second time I ordered a cup of ranch, they put it in one of the tiny sauce containers and put it in with the other sides of soup, which confused me because it was an extra charge for the ranch. Not only did they forget my ranch three times, but in the order I just received they messed up my fries in my 3 For Me chicken tenders entree. And the third time they forgot my order it wasn't even an extra side it was part of the dip trio. So I basically lost money for food I didn't even get. That's not even the end of it! I called the restaurant to inquire if maybe they were out of ranch or something but guess what? They answered the phone as if to stop the ringing, and left me there! I could hear them laughing in the background! So basically they messed up my order and ignored my calls. This was my first time at this particular location. The restaurant wasn't crowed and as soon as I walked in everyone was nice friendly and accommodating. The server I had was wonderful, answered all the questions I had about the menu and kept my drink refills on point all night long. The restrooms were nice and tidy as well. The food didn't take too long to come to the table, between the appetizer and entree it was like a 2-3 min difference. I ordered the 3 for $10 thought it was a good deal for the price. It included a beverage, appetizer & entree. I ordered Strawberry Lemonade, Chips & Salsa, and Bacon Ranch Quesadillas. The lemonade was on point, the chips were hot, but I had more leftover crunched up pieces than actually whole chips. The main course was nice and greasy. Tasty to say the lease, but a few pieces of grissle was found in 3 of my quesadilla and were unappetizing to eat. For the price I paid just a little over $11 for 3 courses. Not too bad for a Tuesday dinner. Overall, I would visit this location again, especially since the service was A1. We were seated right away. Our waiter was attentive and took our drink orders right away. I am a regular here. My boyfriend and I went tonight & it was the worst food I've ever gotten. My salad was soggy. I mean like it had been soaked in water for hours. My mashed potatoes were cold.
