This place is literally letting money walk out the door... poor host/hostess quality. Sat at the front door waiting to put my name down. Waited for 15 minutes, 5 groups walked in and walked out. No name taken down it was simply ran by memory. Half the place has open tables. I'm still here writing this at my table and can still see people actively leaving because there is no active host/hostess. Who looks to be the host/hostess is lazy and will just wipe menu's and not take names. Just overall horrible experience. Food was decent. There was no rush with anything our waitress was also the bartender she honestly forgot if we had ordered. She also added another meal to our check that none of us ordered. My friend and I decided to switch it up tonight. We came here for their unlimited enchiladas. We got those and an appatizer; fried pickles, I love 'em. We came on a Monday which is usually slow but they were busy. So there was a bit of a wait for our table and food. I was dissapointed that the fried pickles didn't have a good breading, it didn't really hold onto the tangy slices. It had good flavor though. It's described as garlic infused and you can def. taste that. The homemade ranch on the side was pretty good. Overall I loved the flavors but the dish fell apart in terms if execution. The main attraction: the enchiladas. They were awesome. I had the option of changing them in new plates and did just that. When it comes to unlimited the first plate is always bigger. I've been going to this location with my family for years, and we have not had any bad experiences. Today's the first day after a long time I got to eat here again, and the customer service was great. Our server, Brandon, made sure we got our food quick and constantly checked our cups for refills. Although, my friend asked for no onions on her pasta and she ended up having onions on them. Even though she didn't notice it because she was too hungry, our server noticed and apologized. He offered to give her a new plate, but she didn't care much about it, so she kept it. Bonus points for Brandon for being an entertaining and outgoing server. He cracked jokes here and there, and had quick little conversations with my whole family, which made our meals enjoyable. read more

I love chilis. The atmosphere here is awesome. I love how once you order drinks you can just keep reordering on the little iPad thing on your table and you can also pay at the table. Our servers name was Neal, he told us about 5 times. I think he was high or something. He was new and seemed to be running around like a crazy person. The nachos were really good I love how they put toppings on every single chip. It gave it a gourmet feel. I had the fajitas which were good. They only give you 3 tortillas and charge for extras. Lame.... They were really skimp on the cheese, pico and sour cream for them. The menu is $10-20$ I wish they had something for cheaper or like half order plates or something. My daughter and I were running errands and stopped in for a late lunch. We should have known it was going to be an interesting lunch when the guy who was bussing tables put down his cleaning supplies to grab our menus and seat us...right beside the noisy kitchen when there were tons of open tables. We asked for a new table and were promptly ignored. We watched 2 other tables get seated and get their drinks and appetizers before we saw our waitress (20 min) we went ahead and put in app and entrée orders b/c we were had other places to go. 20 minutes later our waitress brought our food b/c the runners didn't so we got our appetizer and entree. They forgot the dressing for my daughter's salad and brought me a sirloin instead of a ribeye and when i finally spoke with the manager, he debated the cut of steak. I am a steak fanatic and know my cuts and that was definitely a dry steak that was no where near a ribeye. They did ultimately give us my entree and appetizer for free, but it was just not a good eating experience. I enjoyed myself at the Ninmo location much better and will probably go to that one in the future if I want Chili's. I definitely won't be back to the one on va beach blvd. I love Chili's. I was a bit disappointed with my last visit. We ordered Texas Cheese fries and the cheese on the fries was minimal. My fiancé ordered the Just Bacon Burger and he loved it. I ordered Cajun Pasta with shrimp and I could not finish it. There was incredibly too much spices and salt on the shrimp and it was pretty uneatable. The best part was the desert...perfect! I really wish the pasta wasn't as salty as it was because otherwise it would have been pretty enjoyable. read more

Stopped in for a quick bite at 6:35 on a Wednesday night. Decent size crowd but not overly packed, seated immediately. Ordered 2 bowls of soup and a steak cooked med well. One bowl of soup came out within 5 minutes , the rest of the meal took 35. Steak was cooked rare to med rare , asked to have it cooked a little more. 15 minutes later, still no food. Terrible service. I ordered and paid online for curbside service. Order was to be ready at 1:31pm, I sent the "HERE" text as instructed. 1:45pm, I decide to go in and get my order. I was passed by an employee who never greeted me. I saw my order sitting on a counter so I went BEHIND THE COUNTER and retrieved my food, again the same employee passed me and never batted an eyelash that I was behind the Chili's counter in my nursing uniform getting my own food!!!!! I returned to my car and a few minutes later, the same Employee brings an order out to a curbside customer. I ask this employee to explain why to retrieve my own order and why he blatantly Ignored me when he saw me in Chili's getting my own order from behind the counter. He really didn't care, shrugged his shoulders, and have my a very insincere "sorry". When I asked for a manager, he informed me that he was the manager! This is a wonderful location. My husband and I like to come here because we Love how tasty the food is and how they have their calories stated all on the menu. My hubby has ordered the sirloin, the queso burger, and the oldtimer burger before. He enjoyed all 3 entrees. As for me I always get the santa fe spicy grilled chicken salad and it is amazing here. Other locations just dont cook the same food as good as this place does. Also our waitresses have always been nice and very attentive. I was just there a few days ago and the only thing that was really good for me was the dessert. My mom enjoyed her steak although she originally wanted a Ribeye but they ran out? I ordered the chicken enchiladas and it was just a mess! You could tell the ingredients weren't fresh. The tortillas were hard and the chicken was a bit dried out and hard. I felt like maybe it was old chicken but who knows. The sweet tea was gross and the water tasted like It came straight from the tap. What a disappointing attempt at Chili's tonight. Walked in with a group of five for a birthday dinner at about 7:30 Sunday night. The host looked lost and showed us to a large table near the bar. We asked for a different table because it was way, way too loud for us. He gave us a shrug and said the main section was already closed for cleaning. We asked again for any other option on a table and got no sign of empathy. We walked out to find another restaurant. About 14 years, I took my then girlfriend here for a nightcap after a romantic night. The service was horrible. It took about an hour and a half to get our food, and the food was horrible! Fast forward to today, and there were a few changes. I married my girlfriend, we have 2 kids, and the food here was better. But the service stayed true to form. This was on my "Do Not Return" list, but we went to support my son's school. We were seated and our waiter came to take our orders. He brought the drinks back quickly (which was just water) and he brought free chips and salsa because we were there for the school. The chips and salsa was better than a Mexican restaurant! I got excited, thinking back to our bad experience years ago. Then, reality set in. We ordered a kid's pizza and burger with chocolate shakes, the Big Mouth bites (which the have in the appetizers...remember this) and some black beans & rice. I just happened to glace at my phone. It was 7:03. 30 minutes later, we still had no food and most of the restaurant had cleared out. 15 minutes later, the food finally arrived. Everything but the kids' shakes. I asked for some mustard. After 5 minutes, I started eating. Dude finally brings the mustard. STILL NO KIDS SHAKES! At this point, we have inquired 3 times about these shakes. At 8:03 (exactly 1 hour after placing our order) the kids size shakes are brought out. Are you kidding me? I could have driven home, made shakes for half the restaurant, and had them on the table in less time! The kids had to take the shakes with them because it was time to get out of this place before I said something. I try to not frequent chain restaurants often, but I was out voted by two hungry girls. First off, we had at least 4 different servers, when we finally received our margaritas, it was 10-15 min after we ordered them. We also ordered queso dip which apparently only comes in spinach and meat now. Again, we waited 15 min to get this app, and it came to us cold and congealed. After we placed our orders for dinner, we waited a good 40 min before food came out. I ordered the fish tacos, two of my friends got the chicken bowl, and another the sliders. All our food was cold, not warm, COLD. When our server asked us if everything was good, we said no our food was cold. She sent over the manager, who offered to get us a hot meal. We told her we wanted our food boxed up, because we were no longer hungry, she said no problem. When we received our box we could tell the food was hot. She gave us 50% off our meal, and we paid. Once we got home, later that evening, we had some of our food. My tacos were inedible. It tasted like the just threw more seasoning on it and refired it. The fish tasted like rubber. This is the last time I will go back to that Chili's. The service was mediocre, and the food was horrendous. I did complain on their website, and will see how they handle it. The happy hour at the bar is all day everyday and you honestly can't go wrong with that. They have a lot of good deals like 2 for $25 and 3 for $10. Good prices and good portions! read more

Terrible lunch experience today! I can't be the only one that thinks a 25 minute wait for soup and salad is ridiculous. As we arrived to this location I could see that they had spruced up the exterior and the dining room and menus have been updated too. Upon being seated we went over the menu and 5 minutes or so later our server Carla, said she'd be with us but that took another 5 minutes so we were just sitting for at least 10 minutes. Precious lunch hour time just ticking away. No big smiles or apology for the wait just "can I get your drink order and your food order if you're ready?"... Ummm ok. Chicken enchilada soup and house salad for me and my sis ordered the quesadillas w/ salad and southwest egg rolls. We waited and waited, then out comes her side salad, nothing for me. Another 5 minutes egg rolls. Another 10 minutes my order and her quesadillas. Didn't make any sense. Then our server would just disappear for several minutes... We didn't have time to finish our lunch and asked for to go boxes.. Geesh! Who knew that would be another long wait. Good thing we could pay at the ziosk. Not a good lunch experience today and probably won't be back there for a long while. Never did see a manager or anything walking around to make sure all was well. 40 mins and all I had time to eat was my salad and some of those hot delicious tortilla chips w/salsa that they bring to the table.
