I have been here several times and each time i am throughly impressed! They have the best egg rolls and sweet n sour chicken in town! I ordered dinner for delivery. Speed was great, but the food itself was eh. I found an eggshell and a bone in 2 separate dishes ugh! My husband and I ordered here for the first time today. Our experience was horrible. The delivery of food took 2 hours. I called several times and was told the food was on its way each time. Once the food did arrive everything was soggy, the orange chicken was mushy and cold, the rice was horrible. Everything was disgusting. We will never order here or eat here again. My go-to place for a fast, good priced, lunch...I usually pick-up and it is always ready within 10 minutes of my call...I get the lunch combo specials (M-Sat between 11 and 3) and my favorites are the Kung Pao Chicken or the Orange Chicken...It comes with a Fried Rice, Egg Roll and 2 Fried Wontons...Portions are good sized...Only drawback is sometimes the person taking my money is indifferent and shows little appreciation for your business....I can overlook this if the food continues to be good.... read more

Been going here for 20 years and we always have a great family experience. They have something for everyone. We usually go in a large group and order a bunch of ala carte items to share, but you cant go wrong with the great Dragon Dinner either. For just $12 you get soup, dumplings, veggie egg rolls, foil chicken and the entree. When I was growing up, we ordered delivery from here every Friday. These days I order when I can, but nothing has changed-- it's the best Chinese food I've ever had! I always order for a group of 7 or so & I get the following: Pork Fried Rice, Pork Chow Mein (soft noodle), Kung Pao Chicken, Cashew Chicken (my favorite), orange chicken, and egg rolls. Eww, overall bad experience. We ordered delivery (~7pm on a Sunday) and it took an hour and 15 minutes for it to get to us. The food was pretty gross. We ordered almond chicken (fatty), Mongolian beef (bland and had more bamboo shoots than beef), chicken and mushrooms (bland and hardly any mushrooms), and hot and sour soup (bland). Hands down, the best Chinese food in town! The hot and sour soup is the best I have had. My family and I call it sick soup as whenever we are feeling sick, we get the hot and sour soup and it makes us feel better. The entrees are delicious, I suggest the kung pow 3 delights and garlic chicken as they are some of my favorites. It's really hard to find an entree that isn't delicious. Food- mediocre, maybe a step up from Panda Express. It was just very bland. I expect better quality from a sit down/take out family run restaurant. I went here while visiting my brother in Bakersfield. We did order within the hour before close so that may have contributed? But I have had much better even at late hours in my home town. Also, the Chinese Buffet in the same shopping center had better quality food or at least on par for better pricing. Decor - some the pieces of art we exquisite, especially the picture at the front door and the soji screen blocking the view of the kitchen. Every single time we come here. It's quite ridiculous that they have such bad attitudes. Never smiling. This review is just to let you guys know that you need to have friendlier customer service. Okay..I am a bit confused after reading so many great reviews. My husband and I were craving Chinese and this place is literally right up the street from us. Compared with the reviews it seemed like a win/win. We ordered beef and broccoli, BBQ pork chop suey, and orange chicken for takeout. Everything smelled so good during the drive home, I definitely had high hopes. I ended up very unimpressed and a bit upset at the wasted $25. The beef and broccoli should be called broccoli and beef.. It was 80% broccoli, which don't get me wrong I love broccoli but it would have been nice to have more than a few thin, fatty slivers of beef. The orange chicken was mainly batter and rather greasy. The chop suey was a sort of watery brown gravy mix from the packet concoction with a few tiny pink strands of what I suppose was meant to be the BBQ pork and lots of bean sprouts and bamboo shoots. It just tasted like salty gravy..and the veggies were wilted and soggy. I really had high hopes for this place...will not be returning. I've had better at China Bistro and Sakura Buffet. read more

I ordered here via yelp delivery. I was in Bakersfield visiting family as I am from out of town. It was nice that they delivered to our hotel room and the delivery service was fast. The food on the other hand, wasn't so great. As a matter of fact, we ended up throwing away the take out boxes filled with food :( the chow mein was watered down, the orange chicken was crazy sour, the chop suey was nothing but bean sprouts (perhaps Im misinformed I thought it was supposed to carry noodles) it was unpleasant. The foods that we did find edible were the fried rice, and the BBQ pork soup. But everything else went straight to the garbage.
