Very good Chinese Food, while not quite an upscale place, it is heads and tails above most, buffet or fast food Chinese places in the area. I found the food to be very tasty, at a reasonable price. This place is not a tourist trap, but a place the locals seem to go. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the restaurant looks like a typical sit down Chinese restaurant that has cloth table cloths, it is not a fast food or buffet joint. My family had traditional Chinese meals, all were very good. They offer a Peruvian Chinese menu, which we didn't try, but would be interested to sample. My family was quite pleased with their meals( we all had leftovers to take home due to very nice sized portions), we would certainly go back to the China Hut in the future. What was nice is they do have a children's menu with Chicken Tenders and fries for the kid who just isn't into Chinese food, makes t easier for everyone. :) read more

Was in Orlando on a mini vacation with family. Went to dinner with family at that restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. Was totally disappointed. First and most important one of dishes ordered had a long piece of hair. Waitress didn't want to accept what was shown. Additionally food was extremely salty and didn't taste fresh. Restaurant doesn't serve fusion style food nor Peruvian dishes. Peruvian dishes were really Chinese dishes with Peruvian names. Definitely do not recommend. read more

Perhaps this is a good place to dine in but it is certainly not a good place for take out food. We ordered a fried rice and a four piece chicken wing. The rice was extremely greasy and the wings were worse. To top it off what we received as a four wing appetizer was three small drumetts with a half of a whole wing. If you piled them all together you might get two wings and they weren't even cooked. The kitchen threw in three doughnuts, but we did not order them and they were the worst I have ever had. I've been coming here for over 8 years. There are 2 different menus. They sell American-Chinese food (which I never eat) and the PEruvian-Chinese food. lol I drive from Deltona to come here only to eat the Peruvian-Chinese food. It is a bit pricey but they bring out dishes that can serve at least a family of 3 to 4. The ceviche dse pescado and mixto are yummy. I can't name all the plates they have, but they most typical peruvian dishes (lom saltado, aji de gallina, ceviche, papa huancaina, tamales etc. etc.) I prefer to eat the chinese-peruvian mixed dishes. I especially like their version of sweet and sour pork, it's called Chancho Asado con Tamarindo! They also make it with chicken. The peruvian-chinese menu is in Spanish, but most of the waitress' and waiters can explain the dishes in english, spanish, and chinese. I got excited when I saw a Chifa restaurant because we don't have Chifa food where I'm from. I should have suspected something when we went in at 7:00 and the restaurant was empty. Unfortunately the Chifa menu was in Spanish and we don't read spanish. The waiter, while friendly wasn't particularly helpful explaining the Chifa menu. As a result we ordered from the Chinese menu. This is your standard Chinese "junk food"-greasy, soup that obviously came out of a can, etc. Nice people but would never return here. read more

The food here is good. Like most Chinese restaurants they never seem to get everything right. The plus side is that for $4.90 you can get a nice size lunch. There crab rangoons probably deserve 4 stars. Sadly their rice is not so good. The menu online does not match the actual menu so my order was wrong too. The last time we went their part of our order was forgotten. They did however replace it on the order. Finally on the negative they do not deliver. All in all you are notifying much here. This place has excellent food. A wide variety of selections to choose from. My favorite dish so far is the General Tso chicken with egg roll and pork fried rice. I rarely go out of my way to try new things and a friend of mine recommended we try China Hut. Never heard of the restaurant which to me meant one of two things. It was either going to be terrible and that is why I've never heard of it, or it was going to be one of those amazing mom and pop restaurants that I would discover and tell everyone about. When we arrived it looked to be your typical Chinese restaurant, we walked in and were greeted by the server who asked us where we would like to sit. We looked through the menu and their were so many options. We ended up ordering a few dishes and boy was I surprised. Everything about the food was great, the dishes were unique, fresh, and bursting with flavor. It gave me the impression of a meal at home with the family, that personal touch that can't be replicated anywhere else. China Hut blew my mind. It was one of the few times I had Peruvian cuisine and actually had Chinese food I enjoyed. And I can not tell you how good the ceviche was, that is just something you are going to have to try for yourself. Everyone has their own Chinese takeout place they order from but China Hut is unique, I have taken a few clients out for lunch here and they loved it. Definitely 5 stars. read more

Absolutely amazing...Peruvian and Chinese....can't get any better. Most authentic Chinese food in Florida

First of all, I don't know what the reviewer before me ate but it seems as if we didn't eat at the same restaurant. My husband and I eat out a lot and we love trying new restaurants but we had NEVER been this disappointed before. My husband ordered a vegetarian dish (Buddha Delight) and it was more flavorless than a veggie entree from the frozen food aisle. We also ordered pork fried rice, veggie fried rice, crab rangoons and honey chicken. The pork fried rice and veggie fried rice were bland and the crab rangoons were dripping with oil. The only decent item was the honey chicken but even it was nothing special. We would've been better off eating Chinese food at the Florida Mall food court- the food tastes better and it's half the price. When our waiter brought our bill I mentioned that we were very unsatisfied with the veggie dish and that we didn't want it. The manager refused to take the item off our bill but offered to prepare another dish for us to take home. I explained that we were SO disappointed with the food that we didn't want to take anything home. We're not wasteful and we wouldn't have eaten another bite of this food. The manager simply walked away when I explained that we just wanted the item off our bill. To avoid making a scene, we just payed and left. Needless to say, we will never eat here again. Definitely hit this place up if you're in the Florida Mall area and want tasty Chinese food and not bland mall food. They have 2 menu's you can order from one Chinese and 1 Peruvian/Chinese. The lunch portions are very generous and CHEAP for what your getting. FREE EGGROLL! I have no idea what they do to it but they have the BEST pork fried rice in town! Its really worth pointing out. The outside isn't much to look at and you wouldn't know it's there unless you've heard about it. Inside is all right not much to gawk at besides a nice large art piece on the west wall. Its very clean and the staff are very polite and actually seem grateful that your there. I myself just order the takeout and have never had to wait for my food when I've arrived to pick it up. They do deliver but your order needs to be over $20 for them to do it and nearby. One start because you have to give at lest one...... I went here for some simple fried chicken wings one night. They tried to give me 4 wings cut in half instead of the 8 I ordered. The manager then tells me that is how they sell them.... well then say you are selling wingettes then!! He says that that's how the sell them because "wings cost a lot of money". Man, miss me with that BS. I have a restaurant depot card and I see how much they cost in bulk and I know how many come in a standard 40lb box Bro.... STOP! You just picked this item to be cheap on. I got a refund and went about my business. This was the second bad experience. I ordered a couple platters when we first moved here. The fried rice was not typical "chinese" fried rice. It was actually more like Spanish style rice. Not what I expect when I ask for fried rice. I guess they cater to the Latin community. No problem but You don't go to the Chinese spot when You want pizza do you? Maybe I'm spoiled coming here from NY/NJ but they have to do better than this. Tried this place and all I can say is not good. My orange chicken was covered in a very sweet syrup and my rice was then put on top of that. This made most of my rice taste too sweet also the egg rolls taste like they were fried in rubbing alcohol I would not recommend this place !!!!!!!! Honestly giving this place a 1 star cause if the terrible customer service from the 2 Venezuelan Spanish girls in the front. I called on the phone prior to coming to order a family size rice and shrimp noodles. The lady tells me she doesn't understand what I mean by noodles and basically told me They didn't have that until I understood it meant lo mein. While I was on the phone she kept talking to other people and wasn't really laying attention, First they tell me that they close in 15 mins and if I can come before then I said yes and took into consideration that they close in 15 mins. But once I get there not only did they tell me they didn't have my order ready they have had an attitude and said the family size rice I order they didn't have it and I had to order the small one which proves my point that she want even paying attention to me on the phone when I ordered. I just left because I couldn't stand the rudeness. But the Chinese food was less this desirable. I ordered take out over the phone and when they didn't even ask for a name I got worried. Unfortunately my worries were valid after I picked up my food. The chicken tasted stale and old. I ordered my favorite General Tso's and I'm pretty sure it was honey chicken. There was no and I mean NO flavor. One of my least favorite things is old Chinese food. I felt like I could have gotten a better meal at Panda Express. The one positive is that there was a lot of food for the price, I just didn't want to eat it. Okay I am going to be honest, the décor needs some work, but this is the best Peruvian food I have had in my life! Its like a hole in the wall, but the food is definitely worth it. It is in the Skyview Plaza near Florida mall a couple stores away from Publix. I am not good at the names of the Peruvian dishes but I recommend Lomo Saltado is like steak in a sauce over a bed of fries. Special fried rice and crab ragoons is another favorite. Their Chinese food is good too and you can not beat the price according to the quality. If you see yellow Chinese rice, run far, far away my friend because that is not right. This place is family owned and homemade, if you like frozen food please go to golden corral or a Chinese buffet. For presentation I recommend dinning in, either way the food is delicious. I have eaten here many times and more to come, they are hard working and the proof is in the quality of the food. read more

Seriously good food. We are not from Orlando, but we looked this place up and decided to try it. I ordered the General Taos and my (Vegan) wife had the veggie lo mien. The chicken was hot and and perfectly light and crispy. Veggies were nicely flavored. The best part was the fresh fried rice because it was unique not a standard dried out fried rice. I would give the China Hut five stars but the inside was a bit run down and the bathrooms were not the cleanest. Absolutely great food though. Came here based on my friends recommendation for good ceviche. He was right! The ceviche was excellent! We all ordered the ceviche mixto, which comes with white fish, shrimp, and squid. On the side you get a nice slice of sweet potato and some huge corn kernel like vegetable, the kernels were more dry than corn and much larger. The house made hot salsa they provide for the ceviche is very good and gets spicier as you eat more. Being the glutton that I am I also ordered a Chinese dish, schezuan scallops. In all honesty... The Chinese dish was not good. I did not like the flavor of their schezuan sauce. And I really didn't need the extra food cause the ceviche portions they give you are quite generous. The restaurant is in a sketch plaza where a cop kept patrolling the parking lot, so if you are scared easily by the hood... come when there is still daylight. At least there is a publix in the plaza... quite surprising to see on OBT. I would come again for the ceviche and try other Peruvian dishes. Or maybe try some other Chinese dish. read more

Really great food. Awesome flavors, generous portions. Friendly staff. We had Nest of Sweet & Pungent - which is Sweet & Sour Chicken,pork & shrimp. Really good s/s sauce. And, Subgum Bird's Nest - a very well-flavored saute of beef, chik, pork, shrimp and fresh vegetables, and Krab Rangoon appetizer. They do deliver. I have never been inside, so I can not comment on the interior, but I ordered delivery from a local hotel. The food was very good. They gave very good portions. It was so good we made sure the next time we were in the area we ordered again. They did mess up our order one time, but we called and they fixed it right away, and replaced it and told us we could keep the other order. During my trip from Houston all the way to Disney World, this is the most satisfied dine in. If have chance to visit Disney World again must eat here again. There is no cons for the food and service. Flavor can be adjusted by customers' demand. Strongly recommended to Chinese, and believe the American dishes should be amazing.
