Couple of things are for sure about this place. The price is good, especially for the lunch menu, and the portions are big. Compare to Panda Express this place is indisputably better unless you enjoy the byproduct quality chicken and beef. I'm glad this place was recommended to me. I've tried their Szechuan chicken which was really good and full of vegetables. I also liked their Beef lo mein. Recently, I tried their Hot n Spicy Beef, which was tons of onions and tiny bit of green bell pepper and the sauce was, I'm not sure what the sauce was, it wasn't spicy. I didn't like it at all. May be, I was there on their off days because chicken lo mein wasn't as good as Beef lo mein i've had before. Never the less, I would recommend this place. This is miles better than the other chain I've tried. I think for the quality, taste and portion, this is the Chinese takeout place for me. I just hope the stay consistent. That was the worst Hot and Spicy beef i've ever had. There was no hot or spicy to it. It was just sweet brown sauce. The only positive review is the beef was tender. That's the only reason I gave it one star. read more

This place was okay. I've given this place a couple of tries and the first time, I ordered their lo mien and hot and sour soup as a delivery. They were pretty quick on their delivery. Their food was alright. It was good flavor and not overly salted like most Chinese to-go places. The only problem I had was that it was way way way too oily. My lo mien was drenched in oil. The second time, I ordered the orange chicken and the honey chicken for my brother. Again, the fried rice and chicken were very oily, the sauce was slipping off the chicken. My brothers honey chicken was literally fried chicken pieces with a side of honey. It was very odd. I'm not a fan and don't think I'll order from here again. read more

This is an odd place. The food is great but the staff doesn't even try to be friendly. So come here to order, get good food but don't come here to get your butt kissed. My husband and I have ordered take out from here twice and both times it was great! We just moved to Carrollton and are so glad to have found this place. Ordered about 5 different entrees, plus soups. I must say that everything was cooked to perfection and for an order this size, they got everything right. The only reason for the 4 stars was the amount of time it took to deliver. They did say an hour and it took that, if not a little longer. Food was done in about 20 mins. Ordered sesame chicken lunch special with an order of crab rangoons. Sister had the chicken with broccoli with a side of egg drop soup. All the food was fantastic. And the lunch special prices made it even better. Inside the store was extrmemely clean also and the lady who gave us our food was very friendly. Highly recommend to anyone. For the price point, this is great Chinese food! For 15 dollars (with restaurant.com coupon), my girlfriend and I got WAY more food than we could put away (I tried (failed)). The General's chicken had a great sauce, and the lo mein was cooked just right; however, the fried rice was almost generic. Just tried this place for the first time. Moved to this area almost 18 months ago and have not been able to find any good Chinese food restaurants until now. Well, my husband and I have lived on the West Plano/Carrollton line for about 8 years now and have searched high and low for good Chinese delivery. A couple of places have come and gone, but none like China One! This place (without sounding overly dramatic) was basically an answer to our prayers for a friendly and very yummy Chinese delivery restaurant. We've enjoyed the Orange Chicken, the egg rolls are so yum and crispy, and crazily enough the shrimp tasted very fresh in the Hunan Shrimp. We always get a side order of the lo mein, I'm not sure why it's so good, but it's a must for us. Oh, and another plus? Online ordering! We have ordered from there about 5 times or so, and it will continue to be our go to Chinese food place. read more

I literally was confronted and insulted by the delivery driver for what he considered too little of a tip. Now this was after being over 30 minutes later than the promise time with no call. I called to check on my order after it was 30 minutes. I ordered online and included a tip from their site of 10%. I live less than 3 miles from this place. During COVID this sob had the nerve to ring my bell and hand me the food to complain that I gave him a minimal tip. The food was good, BUT... this is not someplace that you want to go to for a sit down meal. They're really set up best for take out. They serve you in take out containers and the concept of an appetizer coming out before the main dish is totally foreign. And if you can't navigate chopsticks (fortunately I can) you're out of luck.
