Holy dumplings! I have been craving dumplings for awhile now and a friend suggested this place...I will forever love him for introducing me! We had a wide variety and I loved them all! We had steamed shrimp, steamed chicken, steamed pork, fried pork, bbq pork, and one other that I cant remember because my mind is still in a food coma fog! The little mini ones that exploded in your mouth with juicy goodness when you bit into them were devine! I am anxious to try all the other food that they have there and will be back soon. read more

China Pepper is my happy place. They have the best dim sum in a 30 mile radius--the Xiao long bao is amazing, and the fried juicy pork dumplings are a family favorite, we almost need two orders not to fight over them. The cucumber salad, green beans, and pork buns are so good. Honestly I've never ordered anything I wasn't thrilled with here. The staff is so sweet and welcoming and the crowd there is always in a good mood. I wish they served wine, but other than that, absolute perfection. read more

Food was excellent. I ordered pork buns and the shrimp and pepper plate. Shrimp were large and spicy. Pork buns were dynamite. Highly recommend this restaurant . I was here a month ago and I made sure it was my first stop this trip so I could visit it multiple times. read more

This place reminds me closely of the cuisine in China Town. They are a new place but they are already fantastic and I hope they keep this up. They have a stir fry pho dish which is amazing. It embraces the pho elements but with a paw see ewe taste. It is a must try. They have fantastic walnut shrimp which unusually I don't go for. That day I was glad I did. This is also a dish worth trying called pineapple fried rice. If you think it is odd trust me it is not. The last thing I would recommend is their steamed dumplings. In my opinion better than most I've had in my life. Give them a try and I bet you'll enjoy. read more

This place was really surprising. We were looking for a new Chinese food place to eat after church one day. We saw it had a four and half star rating on here and decided to try it. Everything we ordered was so delicious right down to the the lemon iced tea! We're originally from the San Gabriel area where Chinese food is very authentic so we always compare food we try to that with various results. But, I must say this place is very close to the food we loved in SG. When we see other Asian families eating there you gotta realize it's gonna be good. We were not disappointed. The service was great, prompt and the ambiance very simple and down to earth. Highly recommend it and the ice tea a fusion of maybe black tea and jasmine tea was the bomb! read more

I was in the mood for a good won ton soup and this place was recommended.... I wish they wouldn't of have, lol It's really not fair to give a proper review on just single items when there more on the menu I didn't try but that's all I have to go on. I ordered the shredded pork fried rice with egg , fried wontons and the wonton soup with veggies so I can only review these items. First off the fried rice had absolutely no flavor whatsoever, the shredded pork ( if you can find it ) was kind of hard and chewy, it was missing that Asian flavor same for the soup I can't really describe it but it seemed like the veggies are added to the broth and not cooked together so that it picks up all the flavors for a soup and the fried wontons, we'll let's just leave it at that , fried wontons. Unfortunately I won't be back to try the rest of the menu. There's reviews out there that really love this place so I can't speak for them but there's other places for me to check out Happy dinings. read more

Incredible! Amazing Chinese food. We had 12 plates split between the 5 of us after a long day of hiking in the mountains. Everything we ate was incredible. My kids and husband and I are every bite! The place was clean and the servers were so kind The Shao Mai is incredible The peach bun is so cute and tasty! Even though I live an hour away, I am already planning my next trip to eat at China Pepper! read more

It's been hard to find good fresh tasting Chinese food in this area. China Pepper is delicious!! I had the chicken and green beans. The green beans where so fresh! The dish had fresh ginger and garlic as well. This restaurant takes pride in using quality ingredients. And the egg rolls!!! They are a unique take on the traditional egg roll. Sort of like a egg roll burrito! Very yummm!!! Lots of fresh cilantro as well :))) read more

This new restaurant took the place of Min's Dumpling House. The menu is very similar with a few Szechuan items added on. The layout of the restaurant is the same and the service was very friendly. We received free XLB dumplings for our $30 minimum order. My son enjoyed his dumplings. The food was decent, but nothing memorable. I found the items to be a bit too greasy and salty for my palate. There was a pool of oil underneath the stir fried noodles, which is unappealing to me. I enjoyed the cucumber salad with fresh garlic. To be fair, I have never been a fan of Szechuan style food, even when my family and I visited China. We were raised on Cantonese or Hong Kong style food. Szechuan food has become more popular here in recent years so I am sure they have a fan base. If we return, I will just order the dumplings and cucumber salad. We shop at the market in the same plaza quite often so my son will be sure to ask for dumplings again. read more

I first went to china pepper in 2019 on a date. Since then, it's been love at first bite. I had constant cravings during my pregnancy later 2019-2020 with said date and will always be my favorite place! I'm not close to it but I would for sure keep making the trips just for this place! Highly recommend to try and take cash tho, some times their card reader has issues and takes longer then normal. Nothing bad, great customer service and extremely friendly! read more

I found this restaurant on yelp and thought I'd give it a try. I order the shrimp chow fun noodles with no bean sprouts ( slightly salty) and greasy but flavorful...and we also ordered the salt and pepper chicken ( which I wish it was chicken wings and not little pieces) it has that popcorn chicken taste to it, similarly to the one you get a boba shops ( that sells food). There was only a total of 3 parties including ours in the restaurant on a Friday evening and we waited a long time for our food. Overall the restaurant is small, the service was good, and the restaurant is nice. read more

Recently moved to Rancho Cucamonga and, have to say, not too impressed with the Asian dining choices. Sure, there are lots of options, but lacking in flavor (we grew up eating in Alhambra, Monterey Park & San Gabriel...so we know Asian flavors). Fortunately, we stumbled upon this new gem!! Yes, we came in with reservations about the flavors but being their Grand Opening, they were offering free soup dumplings with $30 order. For dinner, we ordered radish with black fungus for appetizer, beef noodle soup, sautéed bean sprouts, and steamed whole fish. Sure, we ordered a lot but the flavors were spot on and NO msg!! Now, we have lunch for the next day. Come and enjoy a meal at China Pepper. You will not be disappointed. Great flavors, large portions, and fair prices. read more

Ordered to go today because sister came with her family to visit. Can't say it was the best Chinese food I ever had. It was just okay. Walnut shrimp (4 out of 5), string beans (4 out of 5), Kung Pao Chicken (1 out of 5), shrimp and snow peas (3 out of 5) and Pan friend noodles and chicken (3 out of 5). There was plenty of leftovers. If it was really good, it would be gone, knowing my family. Plus my sister didn't even want to take it with her... I'm from a Chinese and Vietnamese decent so my standards for Asian food is pretty high. Try this place at your own risk and don't have high expectations. read more

I just tried this place for the first time and I can't stop raving about it. They have such a large variety of options which is perfect for my family that has several picky eaters. The egg and shrimp dish was my absolute favorite! The eggs were light and fluffy and the shrimp was so well seasoned. My next favorites was the garlic broccoli, it was so good that my 6 year old (pickiest eater in the house) ate all of it and not one complaint! We also got the friend rice, cream cheese wontons, and orange peel beef which I've never even heard of, but loved instantly! I highly recommend this place. read more

No need to get defensive just understand our concerns and show you care that we didn't eat our food and don't want to take the rest home. I never get delivery bc I live close and the one time I tried they didn't have anyone available to drop it off lol. Not overly friendly, but there's not much interaction with the staff so it's fine. If you're looking for great quality, go somewhere else. If you're looking for a quick meal adequate Chinese food, this is a good option. Large portions, comparably priced.
