Sadly it took at least 20 minutes for someone to take our order and even longer to even get our food.

Love their food!! Their spicy wok fried string beans, walnut shrimp, and juicy pork dumplings are my go to choices every time!!! I also love their pan fried dumplings and fried rice. I've been in the restaurant to eat and done pick up before and they've always been polite and service has been good!! It's a cute little place and they were accommodating to me when I had to bring in my stroller once because my toddler was asleep in it. I like it a lot. read more

New chinese restaurant in town that I ordered delivery from. They have a huge menu with so many different items from different types of proteins, to noodles, to fried rice to soups, to appetizers and everything in between. I ordered several dishes including: 1. szechuan pepper chicken (mild)- this dish was really good. When you first open the container, you see nothing but chiles on top of the dish and you think that it's going to be extremely spicy, but it isn't. The chicken is cooked to a point where the outside is crunchy, simlar to popcorn chicken. They even put bits of french fries in the dish which, doesnt seem to fit, but tastes really good too, so I thought it was interesting. It's not over the top spicy (since I did order it mild), but the flavors were really good. 2. Walnut shrimp- I dont know whether its because this is a new place or what, but the portion they give you here is more than generous. Price is similar to all the other chinese resturants in the area, but they give you a whole bunch of shrimp, which I greatly appreciated. 3. Peach bun- there's 6 of them, with the bean paste inside. A good way to end your meal with a cup of coffee. Cooked well, controlled sweatness, not over the top. 4. Fried rice with chicken, beef and shrimp- this was a good fried rice dish. Not too oily like some other places. Flavors were on point. 5. Shrimp pan fried noodle- this was pretty good as well, again not oily at all. 6. Pork rib noodle soup- nice of them to pack the noodles and the soup seperately so the noodles don't soak up all the soup. The pork ribs were tender, and overall the soup was full of flavors. 7. wok fried string bean- string beans were cooked slightly aldente. Flavors were bold, we ordered it mild, so not too spicy. Considering how much the bill came out too, and how good the food was, and how much they gave us. This may be my new goto chinese delivery resturant. So, to start: the food is high quality and all of it was very delicious! The Szechuan Pepper Chicken, however, was definitely NOT what I was expecting, at all. Just disappointed. It is literally all dried red chili peppers with bits of chicken scattered here and there. Again, the quality was 5 star, but this dish was not worth it in my honest opinion. I mean really, you pay almost $15 for a bunch of dried chili peppers?! Anyway, besides the Szechuan pepper chicken, we ordered the beef fried rice, shrimp chow mein (it's not labeled that on the menu, I just can't remember what it was labeled as), juicy pork dumplings, and sesame balls. Best fried rice I've ever had! Hands down! The pork dumplings, seriously these things are juicy and devilishly delicious! The shrimp chow mein, nothing to rave about but definitely good! Oh! And they are offering a free order of Juicy Pork Dumplings OR Green Onion Pancakes.... but if you order online through Yelp! like i did, you don't get them for free! I'm pretty bummed about it because I spent $70 total on everything. I called China Pepper and asked if he would honor it and he told me no. Next time I will call and order instead. You know the place is good when you don't want to leave a review. I have yet to have a sit down meal here but I have ordered delivery many times. It's so good, typical noodle and protein dishes have been delicious. I will definitely be ordering new options and trying as much as I can. My families new favorite chinese food place. Their food was awesome. Their orange peel chicken is a bit too spicy but we didn't know to ask / order it mild / no-spice. Beef & Broccoli was exceptional -- very savory & slightly sweet. Their noodles were to die for, and my wife now says she's just going for the fried rice because it was amazing. I am a very harsh critic especially with Asian Cuisine and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. We had the Mongolian beef, vegetable fried rice (bomb), Chicken pan friend noodles (even more bomb! I love chow mein), Orange Chicken and we got free dumplings which were delish. Now I wouldnt suggest going on your lunch break which is what we did because everything is cooked to order so it is not a fast food place but I will definitely be back to try more dishes! read more

Located in the same strip mall as 99 Ranch-Rancho Cucamonga with ample parking. Interior a bit gloomy due to lowered window shades and not much of an ambiance. Soup was a tad salty and peppery; fried rice was ok, noodles could use a squeeze of lemon, siomai was moist. To each their own taste but nice that a bottle of soy sauce and vinegar, and a jar of chili sauce, were available at the table. Good service, with a smile. read more

This place overall is delicious!!! We ordered the pan-fried noodles with shrimp and the hot & spicy grilled fish. Both came out beyond what I have expected in terms of taste! I also ordered a bowl of steamed rice as complementary to the grilled fish since the Szechuan sauce that came with it was so amazing. It has been a while since I genuinely enjoy Chinese cuisine because most of the other places have a very generic taste or too busy, noisy, or dirty for me to enjoy the full experience. I went with my classmates and my professor for my Chinese class and I enjoyed my time there a lot. The food there was incredible. For my first time trying some Chinese dishes, I could not have had a better introduction to it than from China Pepper. The service was also very good and our server was very kind, even giving us some free food for our group. She was even patient and helped us practice our Chinese too. New favorite Chinese restaurant! Every plate we ordered was delicious, it was fresh and taste really good. Service was wonderful, they were very attentive and helpful with questions in regards to the menu. The price was reasonable and again the best part was the food. The vegetables dumplings are really good and do not taste frozen like in other places. All of these plates taste like they are made from scratch. What I loved about China Pepper in Rancho Cucamonga is hard to put in such a short review, but here it goes: 1) First of all we were greeted by the friendly, polite, and professional staff; 2) They accommodated our large group so that we could eat family style; 3) The pictures on the menus made it easy to order Chinese food. 4) The food looked better in person than on the menu! 5) And the food really was delicious. The variety of foods were perfect for new comers and frequent eaters of authentic Chinese food. It's nice to be able to try new and familiar foods when they are well prepared and well presented! We randomly came here after my brother's graduation. My mom had concerns because the place was empty but it was a Tuesday night. She's a very picky eater. My family came ba k here three times.. that should mean a lot. Our favorite was the salt and pepper fish. I highly recommend this place. I placed a order thru grub hub for pickup and they confirmed my order. I arrived 30 mins after and my order wasn't ready so I waited it was Friday. I then waited one full hr before I asked for my food. The front worker seemed so stressed and replied it's almost ready. So I waited another 10 mins before my food was ready. Meanwhile waiting another costumer came in upset that he had been waiting for 1.5 hrs for his food. I don't blame him. The owner needs to hire more people it's ashamed that orders are taking over a hr to be ready. I felt bad for the sitting costumers. Food is good but not worth the trouble. Won't be coming back.
