Ordered a burrito today and the server put a super small portion of meat. So of course I ask for more. They then charged be 23 dollars for the burrito, 6.50 extra for doubled beef and 3 dollars for guacamole. Can we get this chipotle removed from this location already? It's been years with terrible reviews. How long are we going to subject ourselves to this horrible place. This is the worst chipotle location. I haven't been in over a year but went today for their bogo deal. I arrived around 9 and the line was out the door. I waited in line over 40minutes to place my order. When I got up there they only had rice, meat, beans, fajita veggies, sour cream and guacamole left. I personally don't eat beans, sour cream or guacamole so this becomes an expensive meat and rice bowl and waste of my time. There was no sign out to show they were out of anything. They made no announcement to the long line of people waiting that food was out. I only saw once I got to the front at 9:40pm and got two bowls for the bogo with just rice, meat and fajita veggies. This a rip off and waste of time when myself and so many other customers were waiting 40+ minutes to not be told anything. They were only refilling the rice and didn't bring out anything else. They should've prepared better knowing this deal would bring in a lot of customers and who knows how long ago they ran out of ingredients. And they weren't refilling anything else or communicating until people were actively choosing their dish. In the future they need to post a sign on the counter when they are out and when they can see a line is out the door still full of hungry people waiting extended periods of time they can have the decency to verbally announce it so people can make the decision to continue waiting for the bare bones meals or go somewhere else. read more

Ordered food on the Chipotle app at 5:30pm. On the Chipotle app, confirmed that the food will be ready at 5:40pm. Got there at 5:45pm, asked for my food, cashier said food will be ready in a few mins, that's no problem. Asked cashier for my drink cup first and sat there quietly. 10 mins has passed by, asked cashier is my food ready yet, cashier apologized and said the food will be ready in few mins. There is barely anyone waiting in line, just a few people. 20 mins has passed by, I asked the cashier again is my food ready, "your food is still not ready yet." Waited another 5 mins and 25 mins has passed by. At this point, requested the cashier to just cancel my food order and give me back my money. Cashier had told me to cancel the food order on the app. I told the cashier why are you guys making me do more work. At this point, I'm already annoyed. Just cancel my order on your end. The kids were waiting at home for their dinner, but they got full from eating Cheerios to suffice their hunger. Some girl next to me also waiting for her food had asked me how long have I been waiting for my food, I said since 5:40pm. She said, "Yikes, my food said it will be ready at 6pm." 5 mins passed by and this girl ends up getting her food before me. After waiting for 25 mins, the cashier goes in the back and shows Chris (the manager) some kind of slip, assuming it's my order. Chris (the manager) is on the tablet at the front register, I asked him, "are you the manager." Chris said, "Yeaaaaaa, I'm the manager, I'm busy right now." The time is currently now 6:10pm, 30 mins has passed by. Waited for another 5-7 mins, and a worker in the back finally brings out my bag of food. I asked the worker to let me speak with the manager Chris in the back. Worker comes back and said manager is busy. I stood there waiting for a few mins. Chris the manager comes out. I showed Chris on my phone that the time is now 6:20pm. I told him I waited 40 mins. I showed Chris the promised time on my bag is 5:40pm. Chris advised me that their computer system was down. If the computer system was down, why was everyone else getting their orders except me. So this makes it okay to have me waiting for 40 mins ? Chris - When the cashier showed you my order slip and told you the customer had been waiting for quite awhile, shouldn't you have told the food prep in the back to stop what they're doing and work on this guys order right away. 15-20 Postmates/UberEats all picked up their food orders. Usually I get my Burritos or Nachos from Taqueria Farolito or the Outer Missons. Since I work around the area I thought I give Chipotle a chance. The prices and serving size are about the same or 15$ per burrito, 16$ for super nachos plus taxes. I got a Super burrito with grill chicken, guacamole, pico, white rice, black beans, cheese, sour cream, extra meat, and a side of chips/salsa for later on. The taste is kinda funky to me or strange because am so use to eating from taquerias or the mom and pops stores that my taste buds are kinda Bias. When they didn't have mexican rice, only white and brown rice instead I was puzzled or was already doubting chipotle's recipe. Then I find out the sour scream, queso was kinda bland or needs more flavor. The pico and Verde sauce was kinda funky or "Meh" to me didn't taste anything special or make me jump for joy, Usually the salsa and meat is the best part I like most, but this time I just didn't feel the vibes. Everything was cooked and served right and nothing was missing, yet my belly just didn't have the Munchies or crazy love for Chipotle. Simply the Burritos or food lack taste or didn't have enough spices and ingredients to come back for seconds, Usually when I eat good burritos I pig out, lick the chicken off my fingers and wash it out with a coke. In this case I didn't feel the urge to finish all my food, only ate half and saved the rest for dinner. Overall I think chipotle has a decent recipe, but to someone like me that grew up eating from Mom and pops stores or Taquerias most of his life it's hard to tell which is the best of the best. To me the taquerias have better overall salsa, meat, avocado, beans, prices are the same, portion size is decent, and chips varies sometimes. On the other hand chipotle is a more bland, calorie count, or diet friendly burritos that still have all the carne asada, refried beans, you see in traditional Mexican restaurants, but the taste is too plain and needs alot of extra seasoning, extra ginger, salt and better salsa. I even ask the work crew and they think the chipotle recipe is kinda flavored for guys that want a diet burrito or something that looks and tastes like a real Carne Asada Super Nachos. The staff is friendly and very fast on duty, not a single time I ever had issues ordering in store, uber, or app. Sometimes I have small chats with the crew or they talk to me and it's always fun and very cool the conversations we have. This place is a hit or miss. I do not recommend ordering for pick up. Basically I got a chicken bowl and when I got home I already had a bad feeling that they were gonna skimp me and they did. There was so little sour cream, not that much corn, not that much fajitas, the guac wasn't much either and I had to dig to find the chicken pieces. I honestly don't know why they don't know how to portion everything correctly. It doesn't make sense because I remember walking into the store and before my order was ready I saw that they had a substantial amount of everything. Also I arrived early before my pick up order was ready, there was no line and the guy working could've at least made my order right then and there so I wouldn't have waited. It doesn't take that long to assemble the bowl.....so he told me to wait and i went out to get some air and came back. Tbh it's better to place your orders in person and not do order ahead online for pick up, that way u can at least see how much they put in your bowls. The portion size at this location is really small for the price. They give plenty of rice, but the amount of chicken or beef is very minimal and feels unbalanced. Even toppings like tomatoes, corn, and lettuce are given in very small portions as well. I really enjoy Chipotle and eat at many different locations, including very busy ones downtown, where the portions are usually generous--sometimes enough for two meals. This past Saturday May 24, my son and I visited Chipotle at Lakeshore Plaza around 11:20 AM. My son ordered a chicken burrito, while I opted for a chicken bowl. To our surprise, the food tasted slightly different from what we're used to. The chicken wasn't as crunchy as it used to be, but I didn't give it much thought at the time. We continued to enjoy our meals, but later that day, we both started experiencing stomach aches and diarrhea. Considering that this was the only food we had consumed that day, it's quite coincidental that we both fell ill. I recently visited this Chipotle location for the first time after moving to the neighborhood, mainly because of its convenient location. Unfortunately, my experience on April 3 , 2026 was disappointing. When I arrived, they were completely out of steak, which is one of their main protein options. I asked when it would be available again and was told it would take about 30-45 minutes. That felt like an unreasonable wait, especially for such a core menu item. It seems like better planning could help avoid long gaps when popular items run out. Since I didn't want to wait that long, I ordered chicken instead. The chicken turned out to be dry and overcooked, which was surprising because I've had much better experiences at other Chipotle locations where it's usually flavorful and juicy. Additionally, the portions of salsa were very small. As far as I know, salsa isn't an extra charge, so there didn't seem to be a reason to be so restrictive with it. Overall, the service and operations felt disorganized, and the food quality didn't meet expectations. Based on this visit, I wouldn't recommend this location to others in the neighborhood. Also, it looks like the quality of the food hasn't been QAed-some of the lettuce is old and not good to eat while some of the Fajita veggies were too charred to eat, so I had to throw some away. This may be the only location I ever leave 5 stars for, and only because it employs 2 phenomenal people: Shakora and Teven. Every time I stop by (once a week on average, ordering enough to feed a small army), I hold my breath hoping one of them is around. They serve consistent portions, with good ratios of ingredients, and are generally just really lovely people. If chipotle employed and promoted more crew members like them, they'd have a higher rating average than 2 stars. Pro tip (which I thought was common knowledge? But isn't based on these reviews..): don't order online. Don't order for pickup. Just go in.
