Every single time the food service area is dirty, one person running the front while a bunch of people in the back, trash is overflowing, the tables and floor is dirty. You can't even sit inside. Increasingly disappointed in this location. My last 4 visits have left me wondering how the food is stocked . At 6;15 pm (prime dinner hour) most of the food bins were near empty or looked sad. I ordered 2 salads - the lettuce was wilted with brown edges and I asked if they had fresher lettuce and they said "no". So I changed my order to bowls. No brown rice so I opted for white. Black beans looked mushy. The vegetable bin was empty with a few onions stuck to the bottom. I asked are you stocking the vegetables? They said no we are out. I suggested they put a sign stating no vegetables and he shrugged. I said, I only wanted vegetables do you mind if I cancel my order? He said "whatever". This Chipotle is indicative of the decline of the Chipotle restaurant chain. No ice for any of the soft drinks. And soft drink dispensed from the fountain is actually heated warm. Dining room a mess. Garbage cans overflowing. Food tasted okay but reasonable likelihood of catching a foodborne illness. Service was fast and server was polite, but Chipotle workers seem unmotivated. Same girl as last time and ya'll are definitely not speaking with her or she would not be doing this over and over. I don't like this "new" online order process. I've gone to this location for several years and always ordered online. The convenient of walking in and grabbing your order was why I kept coming in. Well lately the last few orders not anymore. Your online ordered that was already paid for is sitting on a shelf behind the cashier, and you have to wait your turn until they help you out. Many times it gets crowded since they only have one register. I get that due to theft they have to leave it in the back counter. But from our end it's frustrating defeats the purpose of ordering online and I don't have time to wait in line. Chipotle needs to invest in a "locker" system where you can open it w a 4 digit code that's sent to you once ur order is place, then it resets itself. I don't think I'll be coming back here anymore. It's too much of a hassle and the staff looks frustrated, and some can care less about helping u out. read more

My family doesn't like coming to this location because it's dirty at the counters. They prefer Cerritos. However I went today March 29 from 12:30-1pm and that whole counter crew was rude. They weren't patient, rolls their eyes and slam things into the bowl. Jacob was my cashier. He was cool. The other staff didn't have badges on and they are lucky they didn't because I was looking for that asap.Other staff need to work on professional development or maybe this location needs more support ! The amount of protein on my bowl is insane. I took the time to pick every single piece of chicken and it came out to 3oz. YES 3OZ OF MEAT FOR OVER $16. Scoop looks decent when they serve it but only half of the protein goes into the bowl as the other half is stuck to the bowl. I do not blame the employees but they have the audacity to remove 2/3 pieces of chicken from the bowl, the place is not going to go out of business for those piece nor if they actually served the amount of protein that Chipotle claims to serve on each bowl and burrito.Aside from that, every time I get guac, the small cup is about 70% of its capacity. Will not eat Chipotle again until corporate does something. I was promised a response by the response team the following day, resulting in an email message stating they were looking into it and "here's a free bag of chips." There are no other options with their quality for a fast food chain nearby IN Seal Beach I love their tacos and they always are fresh. The staff is cheerful and friendly and are generous with the portions. I also like the classic rock they play in the background but it is kinda loud. Good Tex-Mex food. I tried the app for a pickup and was very pleased at the results. Generous portions and very fresh. I like the pickup concept. I find the prices seem cheaper on the app for pickup. Cleanliness = 0/5 - their disorganization bled through to them wiping down counters. My granddaughter could only eat half of her burrito, my salad bowl was very underwhelming and my wife could only force down half a bowl. This has to truly be the worst Chipotle around. We were here a couple weeks ago and waited in line forever while several employees were chatting in the back. There were only 2 people in front of us and we waited at least 15 minutes to order. Got our food and the chicken was way over the top spicy. I barely ate my salad. During that time, no one came out from the back to help take orders. The AC was out and it was over 100 degrees out today which it means it felt like a 100 inside, too. I was here yesterday (Dec. 8th) around 12 noon or little after. Negative: the young lady who initially started my order. It was clear that she really didn't want to be there. Either that or she wasn't having a good day. And I get it, she's feeling the stress of dealing with the public, but customers really don't care if their server is having a difficult day. We just want you to provide service with a smile especially when I've been polite to you. Positive: Rest of the staff were friendly enough and efficient. Food was good. As a rule, I don't often eat fast food and it's been years since I had Chipotle. Last week I had a craving for Mexican food and went to the one in Del Amo Mall. The young man there provided excellent service, so I decided to try the Seal Beach location (See how that works? Provide good service, you get more business). And as you can see, I was disappointed by the attitude received. To the Chipotle management: if you are reading this, I am all for hiring young people because we all started somewhere. But please make sure they are trained well or hire better. When I want to indulge in fast food, I usually opt for In-N-Out because of their friendly service. I am a loyal Chipotle customer and have had several problems in the past that I have overlooked. I have a rewards account and use it frequently. Today I purchased a burritos and used my points for a soda. I tied to get Coke and it was not working. I told them and whatever they did, syrup started poring out of it. My kids love the food here but I hate going to this location because some of the employees especially the guy (maybe he's the manager?) are skimpy with the proteins. They give very very little meat! Even my little boy complains about his kids plate not having enough chicken like usual. When we go to other chipotle stores they give a reasonable amount but not this place! Poor service and mediocre food. This used to be a regular spot for us and we stopped going after seeing a decline. Tonight we thought we'd give it another chance. It was late and the person waiting on us looked like he'd rather be anywhere else but there. It's been a long time since we were in and when we ordered a quesadilla we were surprised to see they changed how they make it. No problem. After a little clarification we went with it. The employee appeared irritated with us and kept asking us if we wanted it or not. We did. The bowl that was also ordered was skimpy and each time we were asked what else we wanted felt like we were putting this person out. The side of guacamole we paid did not fill the container and we never received the cup for water we requested. The food was meh and the service terrible. We are done with Chipotle. read more
