I've been here several times since my last review and I'll give it to them that they're consistent! The veggies are fresh (I usually get the Sante Fe $11.99, regular Kale Caesar $9.99 or Mexican Kale Caesar $9.99). Hits the spot for a healthy meal. I agree with some other reviews in that the chicken can be dry and not particularly flavorful when I've gotten it in the past so I usually don't order this as a protein. Stick to the chickpeas, hummus or an egg for protein here. The staff are always prompt here, even when there's a line at peak hours between 12-1:30pm the wait to order in person doesn't usually take more than 15 minutes in line and another 5-6 min to move thru the salad prep area to check out. Tip: if you want bread (optional and free) with your salad get there on the earlier side of lunch bc they run out towards the end. read more

I've never tried Chop't but I was in the neighborhood and had an offer for it on my credit card. I had a chicken wrap that I created for myself on the app-which is very well designed. The order was available well ahead of the estimated time so they get props for that. The restaurant is clean and spacious with many chairs even though we opted to take our order to eat in the park. The chairs were comfortable to wait for the order. The wrap was very delicious as were the caramels. Highly recommend. read more

My experience with the staff were good and quick. I went to pick up my MealPal lunch and it was ready. The host gave it to me quick. It was pleasant and I appreciated the quickness. My problem is with the salad itself. The chicken in the salad tasted stale- like it was a few days old. The leaves didn't seem they were washed properly so I was tasting dirt or grit as I was chewing through my salad. Bad bad bad salad. Sometimes the experience makes up for the lack of quality food but here my experience was great; I just couldn't stomach the food. read more

Save your money guys! Likely the worst salad I've had in my life. I got the sesame ginger and it's so bland even with dressing. A guy had gone up to the counter to ask for salt while I was paying and now I see why... They also tried to charge me more for tofu when I was simply swapping out for chicken. Chopt has been my go-to salad stop for lunch since I started working in the city for a few reasons and one of them is not because I find their salads to die for. Convenience is the number one reason. If the weather is not cooperative then you will most likely find a Chopt bowl in my hand. I wish I could be more excited going here for lunch but to be frank, you're really only getting romaine lettuce. My favorite bowl here was from the Vietnam destination menu (and no it's not just because I'm Vietnamese), which is unfortunate because it rotates. Still in the process of trying everything on their menu to find THE bowl for me but it's hard especially when there are other alternatives like SweetGreens, DigInn, Springbone and byChloe in the area. read more

Is it possible that no one knows about this location yet!? I've been here a few times since it opened last month and it hasn't been crowded! A few reasons why you should get on over there for lunch: Staff is super nice. As they put together the ingredients of my most recent salad I noticed I didn't get much chicken. The gal behind the counter was more than happy to add a few extra pieces and did so with a big smile. They move quickly but smoothly. Even though they've just opened it seems like they've been working together for much longer. The whole operation ran very smoothly. Salad was delish. Love the fresh ingredients and dressings. Huge space with lots of tables. Actually a lot larger than some of its other locations. Coming to this place and ordering in person is like entering a corn maze. Avoid it at all costs. The trick is to use Level Up and order ahead of time. You can pick up your salad 30 minutes or so later and not have to deal with the very confusing and poorly designed flow of the place. Their salads are really good - great selection of standard and some more exotic ingredients (hearts of palm, or seasonal heirloom tomatoes for example). Also they have interesting pre-fab salads that go beyond the usual Ceasar or Cobb. I order my lunch from here about 3-4 times a week and I've been pleased with the service and food about 95% of the time. I am a weekly customer at this Chopt and usually the staff is pretty professional and friendly. Today was an exception. My salad, a Mexican Caesar without chicken, was made and placed in a chopper's queue. I stood in line and waited my turn, but when I finally got the the counter glass, my salad was not there. Several times I was asked by employees if the Mexican Caesar with chicken sitting in a separate line was mine and I clarified each time that it was not...mine was prepared with no chicken. When I attempted to get help from an employee, she very rudely told me they had been "calling my name again and again for the Mexican Caesar with chicken." When I explained to her (and everyone else for the 100x time) that my salad had no chicken, she remade it and thrust it at me with no apology for chastising me in front of the crowd. From the moment you finally get the chance to order your salad, till you reach the end of the assembly line cashier, Chopt employees are sweating, practically running in place, and yelling at the top of their lungs all to get you one of your favorite salads--the amazing Chicken Tinga or the decadent fried-chicken-laced Chopt Po'Boy--in record time. But the old adage "Haste makes waste" applies here, as the goal of "record time" is rarely met during the lunch rush. Waiting in a long line is a reality. A bunch of loud, navy blue suits and you with your red, flower-stitched scarf and turquoise earrings, quietly rebelling against the system (even though you're eating at a salad franchise). When you reach the counter, you'll realize the frenzy that's become the status quo at Chopt. And the curious way the line moves at a decent rate, but gets slower and slower with every step closer to the counter. You order your salad and realize that the whole system of four and five "chopping" lines is, simply put, confusing. You will often hear a chopper calling out the name of a salad, hoping that someone hasn't found the intense process of ordering lunch from here too much and skipped out on the bill (and the food). this place is a SCAM. The flavors are decent but it's frankly shocking how little food you get. I ordered one of the seasonal "market bowls" which are more expensive than the salads but somehow have much less food in them. i got approximately 1/2 teaspoon dressing, and 1/2 teaspoon cheese sprinkled on the top. For $11 i should not be seriously hungry a half hour later. The lines and unpleasant chaos give the harried staff an incentive to rush everything-- never making eye contact to give me the opportunity to say "can i get a tiny bit more of that ingredient, since you clearly just gave me half the scoop i'm paying for?" This is my third time coming here but i'm writing this review to remind myself- Never Again!! The people that work here are really cool! I've been going here for a year and they are some awesome workers in there. They remember you when you come into the store and if something goes wrong with your order, they actually help to straighten things out with sincerity. Randy the manager? Sweetest human you'll come to know if there is a disturbance with your order. True customer oriented people. Now the food.... blessed be the leaves of this shop! I've never been much for salads before but the fact that theres a bunch of things to add on in terms of options really made salads a highlight for me. They even let you taste certain elements that you might not be familiar with! They seem pretty clean too, they switch out boards that they chop stuff on and it just makes so much sense since allergies are a thing that exist and its good to be aware of what can done off your customers. Kudos to them on that. Really upset with my last experience here. I've eaten at this location 4 times. And I believe only one time I actually liked my salad. I ordered through yelp for pick up and I thought the process was very easy and I actually liked it better than when I order online from sweetgreen. My order was available for pick up in 20 mins which was perfect timing. 1 star for timeliness and 1 star for the ordering process. When I went to pick up my food I had to wait a minute or do which wasn't terrible. I got my food, got to my destination and noticed that there was no chicken, there were artichokes when I specifically said in the notes NO HEARTS OF PALM, and I had half an avocado not sliced or chopped. How the eff am I supposed to cut that when all I have is a fork? The balsamic vinaigrette dressing is disgusting. Literally ruined the salad. I've gotten this salad before, ordered this same way and liked it. So I'm upset it was so awful and missing the grilled chicken I had to PAY EXTRA FOR! Will not be back.
