Halo-Halo and honey walnut shrimp with rice
    Tim N.

I do appreciate that there is a Chowking near me. Otherwise, I'd have to go to the Philippines to go to Chowking. Service was wonderful. I came just before the dinner rush. I wanted to come for the halo-halo but ended up also getting a honey walnut shrimp bowl with a Diet Pepsi too. Food was delicious, and I must come back since I saw other menu items that looked appealing. Prices were very affordable so I look forward to getting even more items next time!

Incredible value breakfast special, one protein entree with rice and egg. Bangus, pork or sausage. Before 11am less than 10$ Siopai and siumai have lots of meat in them. Hifh volume and consistent quality higher than most independent dimsum shops. They focis on volume and have very limited selection to keep labor costs down

Food is always great here, got the Asian vibes! Service is great too especially Paula she go up and beyond hopefully there would be a lot like her. The food delivers on time, Paula makes sure you got your food right.

I don't know how long Chow King has offered breakfast but I got to try their breakfast entrees today. They offered tocino, longanisa and bangus. Their plates all come with garlic rice and egg. The portions are great. The egg was over medium by the time I got my order, I didn't mind it but some might. I didn't wait too long for my takeout orders. I also got their asado siopao tray which comes with one additional siopao.

3.5 stars. It's been a while, but I always got my Thai tea or Halo-Halo dessert here. I've never tried the food before. The drinks were reasonably priced and still are. As was the halo halo.

    Rude customer service
    Ronnel C.

This place is awful when it comes to service such as customer service. The lady at the cashier needs some business etiquette and civility when it comes to engaging customers at the front such as making eye contact, responding when someone says thank you, giving my chance and or receipt instead of me grabbing my cash from the counter. Totally rude and lack of any etiquette and manners.

Wanna tell me now that I ordered thru DoorDash??

I ordered food for delivery on their Chowking website. Received one of the orders where the food was everywhere in the plastic bag. Called to complain and I was told I should take it up with DoorDash. I said but I didn't order thru DD otherwise I would've called them. I was given to the "supervisor" and she said the same thing. Issue wasn't resolved. Called 2 days later and spoke again to the same supervisor and now she tells me I need to call my bank. I said what is my bank going to do about it. She repeats again that I need to call DD. If you go on their website, nowhere does it say that if you plan to have it delivered it doesn't show you any option who the delivery service would go through. See the attached photo. Bottom line, know what your website actually says otherwise you just sound ignorant and dumb. Both people I spoke to shouldn't be in customer service as they don't have any professionalism. No longer will I eat there or have anything delivered again. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. Keep your 2.7 rating. As a filipino, you're a disgrace to our people especially the way the supervisor spoke.

Beef noodle soup. This is such a disappointment for $11.

Beef noodle soup. This is such a disappointment for $11. If you're watching your blood pressure don't have this because the broth is very x3 salty! I was able to count my cabbage pieces and I had 5, 2 small beef meat and noodles well I guess about right. I had to add a small cup of water to my broth btw. If you want healthy easy quick beef soup make it at home. A lot for $11 goes a long way to buy small quantities of soup ingredients. Thai tea another high-in sugar. Enuf said.

The star of the show is definitely the potato noodles; they're incredibly chewy, bouncy, and soak up the rich, flavorful broth perfectly. We ordered the classic potato noodle soup and a few appetizers, and everything came out piping hot and packed with flavor. The portions were generous, ingredients tasted fresh, and the broth had a comforting depth without being overly salty. If you enjoy spicy food, don't skip the Sichuan-style options. The restaurant is clean, modern, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes, making it a great spot for lunch or dinner. It's refreshing to see a restaurant specializing in something you don't find everywhere in the South Bay. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Highly recommend for noodle lovers!

Coming in with a party of 2 around 7 pm on a a Saturday evening, there was no wait as there were plenty of tables available. The menu is accessed via QR code, and you place your order through the phone. Food came out reasonably quickly and hot. My husband got the pork belly rice plate, which was very large and filling. If you eat smaller meals then two might be able to share. I tried it as well and thought our cuts were mostly fat, but they were flavored well. I ordered the Shezuan (mala) potato noodle soup. Turns out potato noodles are really soft with basically no bite or chew, so they weren't as fun to eat as expected. Flavor and portion size were still good. The mala / numbing spice is particularly strong here, so if you like it, you'll have a good time. While everything was satisfactory and tasted good, I don't think I'd seek this place out as it wasn't as memorable. Decent if you're already in the area though.

The concept might be simple but the possibilities are endless! I went absolutely overboard with my proteins (both beef and lamb), enoki mushroom, napa cabbage, tripe, baby corn, fish balls filled with roe and tofu skin. On the positive side, they do offer a large variety of ingredients to choose from. When my bowl was served, I realized it wasn't the one I had ordered. They had accidentally switched my bowl with another customer's. Later, while eating, I came across some of the marinated cilantro beef, which looked raw. I asked the server if it could be cooked a bit longer, but she explained that it was supposed to be pink. I tried a small piece, but the texture was still very tender, which made me uncomfortable. It also didn't have the texture of what I expected from beef. My cousin also had an issue with her bowl. The lotus root slices were cut fairly thick, so after cooking, it was still undercooked and crunchy. Overall, it was a disappointing experience due to the cleanliness concerns, the order mix-up, and the food quality. There are plenty of ingredient options, but I don't see myself returning.

Other than that, the rice noodles are thin and silky and hold the sauce nicely. The sauce is also delicious. We also ordered the fish congee which was simple but comforting. The menu lists homemade laksa sauce as an ingredient but we didn't taste that, and the dish wasn't spicy at all either despite the 1 chili pepper rating. But it looked just like the menu picture so maybe the description is wrong. Fried chicken with tom yum sauce came with 6 pieces. Very juicy. Spicy chicken with honey and potatoes- We've tried this dish at many different restaurants, mostly without potato chips and we didn't like it here. I did not like the addition of packaged wavy potato chips into the dish. Dai style seafood- This dish was very disappointing. It was served cold which was the highlight of the dish but nothing tasted fresh. This dish took the most time to come out. Each one of them are slightly unique, and they're all really good! If the high ratings weren't a accurate indicator, then the packed venues are definitely a conformation. Henan Noodle isn't the biggest venue, it's actually on the smaller side; small mom & pop operation. The place is charming, clean and inviting with a minimalist decor. The restaurant is located in a small plaza off N Milpitas Blvd. I forsee challenging parking during peak times; the lot is not that big either. The service was fine. Everything necessary was already laid out on the table, well organized and ready to dine in; bowls, chopsticks, cups, napkins, soup spoons and cold water. Scan the QR code on the table and place your order. Food came out in a timely manner. I'm not sure if lady running the place (at the time of our visit) speaks English; she gave us instructions in Chinese, I'm guessing Mandarin. We had no clue what she said, but were able to figure out what she was telling us...basically the condiments are self serve, small station in the corner against the wall. #SendNoods Braised Noodle 烩面: ~ Pickled Cabbage & Black Fish with Lamb 酸菜黑鱼羊汤烩面 - 5/5 Brilliant flavor.
