DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! The wait is abysmal! I'm not talking about the estimated wait time! I'm talking about the check in waiting period to be seated. I wanted to try Chubby Cattle for the first time, but it didn't go as expected. I waited an hour and a half to check in (which I was totally fine with), and when I did I was told that my group was almost ready to be seated. We were told to just sit outside until our name was called up. We did. 22 minutes go by and we got another text message saying that our table was getting prepared and to ONCE AGAIN see the host. WHY?! I went in again to see the host only for them to tell me that we are next in line and to keep waiting outside until someone calls our name. THIS IS UNNECESSARY and LOATHSOME. 3 minutes later someone calls our name to be seated, but there was no server to be introduced to us and the person who sat us just left. At this point, I am seething with anger thinking to myself I will be leaving no tip behind. 5 minutes later, Aaron our server arrives. He introduces himself, ask us how we're doing, and explains to us how this works. I knew that he could tell I was irritated because I didn't talk the whole time he was with us. I just wanted to start eating food. It's been close to 2 hours since we've been waiting and I'm hungry. In the end, Aaron was a really nice server, which is why I left a $20 tip hoping it's just for him and that it's not pooled for the front desk to receive a portion. Make sure to book more shifts for Aaron! Book LESS shifts for the girls in the front who don't know any ounce of time management. I wish I could've gotten their names because they deserve a callout in this review about their non-existent front desk skills. All in all... I would NOT recommend this location due to the poor front desk management of checking in customers, but the food was bomb and the servers were all pretty sociable and skilled with the customers. One of the best ayce's i've been to. I am new to this chain and really had no idea what I was getting into. Long waits! (luckily you can add your name to a list in advance) 3 tiers to choose from! We chose the lower tier and it had plenty of options we were happy with. If you want premium, then the higher tier options will suit your needs. The seating process was pretty smooth once our table was ready. It was clearly explained how it works and our time limit (which they are very strict on) as shown on the computer screen on the table. Each round, you can order up to 10 plates. There is also the self serve area. This one was unique in that it was broken into sections. They have the beverages in one area, veggies in another, around the corner was rice, mini burgers, corn, etc, then a small dessert section. Pretty impressive. Everything here was fast pace. The servers working quickly and food coming out fast. They really held us to our 90 mins. We were full by then and definitely done ordering, but also pretty much asked to leave as they had a lot of parties waiting. When paying our bill, they encourage you to sign up for their rewards program. It's not free, but if you plan to come back it probably is worth the fee. You can also accumulate points at their other locations. One person in our party joined and the credit pretty much offset the cost. Our server, Chaerin, did an excellent job! He helped us grill some meats, and answered all our questions when we were unsure about grill time, etc. All the meats we tried were incredibly delicious, like melt-in-your-mouth tasty ... Wow. What an experience. I have always heard of Chubby Cattle being a must visit spot and I am so glad that while visiting family that they wanted to go here for lunch on a Wednesday. I heard that there is usually a significant wait for a table but we were able to get a table right away. First off, I want to give kudos to Kevin for doing an amazing job taking care of us. We never had to really wait for much and some other waiters also brought us over items that were out when they replenished them. The service here is amazing. Secondly, the food is so good! Even for the lower tier AYCE option, there was more than enough variety for us to stuff ourselves and not get sick of anything. There was so much wagyu that we ate... All so good! Had amazing service today! Their food and ambiance always slaps. We were surprised to hear that Tyler, our server, was fresh off training! He already seemed so professional. Another thing we enjoyed is how clean our table consistently was, Wall-E (I think that was his name) kept pre-bussing throughout the entire meal. The ordering system takes place through the interactive screen at your table, which is great, because you don't have to flag down a person anymore. The menu is fairly straightforward, I would still recommend getting the gold tier. The biggest difference is that the beef tongue is way better in the gold tier. There is also a self serve station for condiments, vegetables, drinks, baked goods, and soup. I think this made a huge difference in the experience. The meat itself is pretty good, I would rather eat this than Korean barbecue any day. People argue that it's the same thing, but there is a huge difference between the quality of the meat, and how everything just taste. I will take Wagyu any day. One of THE best AYCE wagyu bbq places in town! Yes, it is on the pricer end but it's worth every penny. They have Silver, Gold, and Diamond tiers with Diamond being the most expensive one with more special meat options. They have an iPad in the front to put your name down on the waitlist, which is very convenient. All members of the party must be present in order to be seated. Once seated, the server is very friendly and knowledgeable about how to use the iPad to place orders and explanation of the different cuts. I opted for the Gold Tier, which the special meats for this tier were the A5 Miyazaki Wagyu Short Rib (one per order), A5 Wagyu Otoro Thic Cut, A5 Miyazaki Ribeye, A5 Finger Meat, and Full-Blood Wagyu Steak. For special dishes, they offer the A5 Wagyu Foie Gras Nigiri and the A5 Wagyu Uni Caviar Nigiri. I love their nigiri and the Wagyu Short Rib. Their Wagyu Brisket and Top Blade are also solid. I appreciate that their salad bar has fruits and unlimited drinks such as lemonades and milk teas.
