Ate here after attending a rave (Dreamstate), and we had a wonderful experience! The wait wasn't so bad, 30 minutes maybe, we were a group of 3, in the meantime we pregammed for our late lunch. We finally got seated and the restaurant is nice, i like the decor all around. We were blessed to have Eric as our server, he did an amazing job for us! He explained how ordering works, was very attentive, gave us recommendations on what we should get, and was very funny and pleasant! He recommended the beer tower and estimated that around 6-7 drinks come from it and he was on point. Oh yah and we got the middle tier one, def a good choice, the A5 meats were so good and the uni caviar wagyu was insane At the end of the meal i ended up getting a membership bc the food was so good and i had such a wonderful experience. Big thanks to Neil for taking care of our party the entire night. Starting with his recommendations to guiding our experience, Neil was spot on with everything. The restaurant was a little busy but our wait was quick by joining the waiting list early. We could have used a second grill and a larger table considering we had a party of 6 and seating was a little cramped after ordering a few items. Their large booths unfortunately were designed only with a single grill. Only other complaint was the heat from the grill. There wasn't any exhaust to take the heat away from those sitting in front of the grill and it got hot! Not the most fun sweating and eating. As mentioned before, Neil's service made up for most of these deficiencies and the evening was saved. read more

Sean did an excellent job taking care of our large party. He was very attentive throughout the entire meal, always making sure our grills were changed promptly and everything ran smoothly. The restaurant is always super busy but they somehow always make time to check in on us. The quality of the meats was amazing, and the food came out quickly, we never had to wait long for anything. Our favorites were the skirt steak, beef tongue, and steamed egg. We always get the silver menu, but I'll def be trying a higher menu next time. The only downside was that the environment was a bit loud and crowded, it can be quite the journey going to the self serve stations. Restrooms are also very small. Overall an amazing dining experience! Expect to pay at least $60 per person but very much worth it. read more

First off, I've been to many chubby locations, and this location was truly one of the top locations I've ever been to. Our server Rida was simply exceptional! She was extremely fast with her service. She always followed up with our orders and made sure we made it through last call. She cooked several plates for us and even torched our uni scallop special despite managing several tables. Came here off a coworker's recommendation and I'm officially revoking his food privileges. Forever. Yes, it was packed and the wait was reasonable. Cool. The only thing I'll give them is the phone check-in system, which is actually convenient. Everything after that? A mess. The host was rude and rushing people like we were cattle (pun intended). I asked where the restroom was and got attitude and a dismissive "it's in the back." Like... sorry for needing a bathroom while I'm literally paying to eat here? Then we sit down and realize there are no sides. No banchan. No rice paper. So basically... you took Korean BBQ and removed half the experience. Cute. And the whole place is basically self-serve drinks, sides, everything with the WORST layout possible. You're forced to weave between people's tables and kitchen traffic like it's an obstacle course. I almost got clipped by a plate because everyone's crisscrossing the same narrow path. It also feels unsanitary as hell for anyone seated near the self-serve area because it's constant foot traffic in your face. Then the cherry on top: while I'm talking to my friend, a server was eavesdropping and answering our conversation like he was part of it. Not cute. Not funny. Just weird and invasive. And somehow it gets worse: my friend ordered a beer that was out of stock, no one told her, we never got it BUT it still ended up on the bill. We had to ask them to remove it. So you're either disorganized or hoping people won't notice. Either way? RED FLAG Even the appetizers weren't safe. The fried calamari came with some dipping sauce (no clue what it was supposed to be) and it was presented in the most unappealing way. Like geez... at least use a better piping tip or something so it doesn't look like a sad blob on the plate. Presentation matters, especially when you're charging people to eat here. Korean BBQ is one of my favorite foods, and this place managed to make it stressful, awkward, and disappointing. I won't be back. read more

My wife and I went with the gold package. The specialty plates that are only one choice per order, those were great. The meat choice for the rest was okay. Not great but not bad, but not worth the expense. Overall, I really don't care for great service at a KBBQ as much as I care for having great meat quality. In this case, there are so many other restaurants to choose from at their price point. The inside is pretty big, lots of seating. The good part is that you don't get a heavy smell of KBBQ when you leave, meaning they have decently good ventilation. The self serve area is interesting. The corner has your condiments, then some ice cream in the center, then on the other side a soda fountain with some choices of teas too. Behind the ice cream is the rice and desserts such as cakes. If you go, my must is the earl grey roll cake. If you haven't tried it, do so, otherwise you might keep having FOMO, cause YOLO! read more

My husband and I went to the Rowland Heights location one time and enjoy it but we were overwhelmed as first timers. We haven't gone back because of the drive. We were excited to learn they were opening a location in cerritos! We finally got to try a few weeks ago. We went right at noon when they opened and knew we would be on a time crunch because we had to pick up our sons from school. Everything was delicious and the waiter was really nice. We was very helpful and even got us signed up for the basic membership. My only gripe is he saw me taking a picture of the receipt for points on the app and told me I didn't have to do that and he would put it through. I just checked my app since I was thinking about going back soon and noticed I have zero points! So he obviously didn't do anything to ensure I received my points.
