Vietnamese coffee - doesn't come with milk
    Ashley C.

Yay for a new dessert and drink spot! They're currently offering 15% off during soft opening. It's located right next to Gong Cha in the same parking lot as Duc Huong and Asian Pearl, so it's definitely a high traffic area. The options were actually kinda limited for drinks. I asked for something non caffeinated for our kids and they suggested a Thai lemon tea... it has tea so that wouldn't work. They do have a corn milk but otherwise there are no other non-caffeinated options. I picked the milk tea with flan and it was definitely on the sweet side, wish there were options to adjust sweetness! The flan had good flavor once I could taste it after the drink was gone, but otherwise you can't taste it over the sweetness of the drink. The menu could benefit from some photos. I was intrigued by some Instagram pics I saw but once I got there I didn't know what I'd want off of the names, so I ended up not getting any desserts. I don't know if I'm gonna be rushing back to come since I wasn't super impressed on the first visit but I'd be open to returning after they have been open a while!

I had visited them when they had their soft opening. They took over the spot of the previous Serenity Dessert for those who are wondering. Chuk Chuk serves boba, dessert, snacks and street food with a focus on Vietnamese items. One thing that caught my eye on the menu is the corn milk pandan jelly drink which I've never had or seen it anywhere before so I had to try it. You can definitely taste the corn in it, with a bit of sweetness. I really liked it! There were several things that were sold out so might need to come back again to try the others, but we did get durian crepes which were already in a box. It comes in three. We tried this when we got home. The pillowy soft crepes were delicious. If you're a durian lover like me, you would love this!

I got the iced creme brûlée latte, which was good just very strong (true to Vietnamese coffee). I also got the snow chicken which I think was underwhelming but still good. My favorite food items were what my friend ordered which was the fried rice cakes, rice paper salad & rice paper rolls. I was told that these are common street foods and not easy to find. I thought it was cool they offered those foods here. The rice paper salad especially was so delicious and fresh. The people working there were so nice and provided great service. I can't believe how empty this place was. My friends and I studied here and there's lots of seating.

I'd give this spot 3.5 it's not bad but it's not like WOW either. The customer service was great, super helpful and friendly. We got the milk tea with toppings which is their top seller, it was pretty sweet so I'll probably adjust sweetness next time. The price was pretty steep tbh, it was $11!! We also tried the tropical tea which was passionfruit and guava. That was $8 with toppings so a little more reasonable. I got the potato tornado as well which was $6.5 I wish the powder wasn't cheese / sweet. I'd prefer a savory like bbq or just plain would've been fine too. Lastly we got their popcorn chicken which was okay as well. The space itself is pretty spacious. Overall, it's pretty pricey but with that being said I'd still come back to try their other viet snacks!

This is when they just open. The food need works. Most disappointing item I got that day was Avocado ice cream. It's such a tiny amount for $7. It's just overwhelmingly sweet. The amount of avocado and ice cream is about over 1Tbsp each. But I can hardly eat that ice cream. It is dense, and so sweet. Avocado is also meh. They don't compliment each other. Durian crepe - durian is too little, crepe needs some work. I like the menu but I wish it worth the money I spent. I don't know if it gets any better yet. I hesitate to try other items.

I wanted to give the place a try. I went with the pandan latte as I didn't want caffeine. It was on the sweeter side, but I didn't ask if I could've adjusted the sweetness level. My friend and I shared some snacks/ street food. We had the popcorn chicken, seasoned fries, rice cake w/ egg, and fish sauce chicken cartilage, which were all fried. I felt like everything was over fried and dry, which was disappointing.

This is one of the shops that is located in the Duc Huong plaza on the side of KV Lash. I was excited to try the Pandan drink, but my first sip of it I know this is not pandan. It tastes just like the green Thai brand Hale's cream soda drink & it's so so sweet! I know what I am sipping on as I am Thai and grew up drinking this since I was a kid. I taste no Pandan. So I'm really curious how they are making this "Pandan latte" back there. I attached a photo of what drink I am referring to and what it tastes like! The durian is pretty light and airy, to me it's still on the sweet side. Will I return? Highly unlikely.

Rating is based on service and food today. I know it's fairly knew when we went last month and theres been changes since then. I really enjoyed the food and beverages there. The durian avocado was my favorite. I wished we had more durian in the drink. It was creamy and smooth. The rice paper street snack was a little different than what I had when I was in vietnam. The paper was cut too thin/small so it became soggy by the time we had it at the table. I'd prefer it cut bigger for more texture. The flavor was good tho. I wish we were able to try more but we came later in the day so some items were sold out. This place was super busy in the evening around 6pm. Everyone table were packed with people. I'd definitely come back to try more stuff.

Fried Rice Cake - common traditional street food Rolled Rice Paper - such a fun and comfort traditional street food. SO DANG GOOD!

It is kinda sad to see a place that should have gone viral for the Viets childhood snacks to be kinda quiet. The food was TOP TIER! I actually am so grateful that there is something like this in the Sac area! They are UNIQUE and the only location for these stuff. Bột chiên Fried Rice Cake was so crunchy but soft on the inside! Bánh tráng cuốn sốt me Rolled Rice Paper Tamarind Sauce the roll was big and satisfied my cravings! Bắp xào Stir Fried Corn was the exact taste i thought it would be! Bánh gạo lắc phô mai Snow Teokbokki was also so satisfied! OVERALLS! Just appreciate it and everything was 10/10!

ChukChuk has the most authentic Vietnamese snacks and drinks in Sac town. This place has never failed to satisfy my Viet snacks cravings. It is nostalgia reminiscing from childhood taste which I thought I would not find again in the US. Overall, food/drinks 10/10, service 8.5/10, Ambiance 9/10

The customer service is five stars! So friendly, attentive and quick! The ambience is just a small Boba shop type cute place to stop for dessert, drinks and authentic Vietnamese street snacks. We tried many snacks. Our favorites are the rice paper roll, rice paper salad and chicken cartilage!

Ordered the Milk Tea Full Toppings. Everything melted by the time I received it. My drink was missing the black boba as shown on the picture. Went back for it and they said that they put in "white" boba... nope, didn't see any because all I could taste was grass jelly. So disappointed... never again.

    Nathan L.

Came back again after grand opening. A lot new drinks and snacks were updated ! My favorite is their fried rice cake, which is most popular food of my childhood. Recall alot ! The full topping milk tea is favorable with full of toppings, it is worthy money. The restaurant is pretty clean.

Special spring roll combo - sooo healthy. Make your own spring rolls. It comes with nem nuong (sausage pork), vermicelli noodles, crispy rice paper, lots of veg). Dipped in their sauce, it was definitely my fav. It's interesting that their sauce consistency is thick. Banh xeo - I wish it came a little crispier. I also tried Nem Chua (fermented pork) for the first time and absolutely loved it. Everything tasted fresh, simple, and homemade--the kind of food that feels like it was made with care. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, and I appreciated that they're open earlier in the morning, making it a convenient option compared to many other Vietnamese restaurants. Great food, great service, and a great experience overall. We'll definitely be back!

I also always take friends and family visiting here and it never disappoints. The yelp wait is pretty accurate, so I recommend joining before you head over to avoid having to wait there. Last time I went and checked, it was about an hour wait so I joined it and did some grocery shopping nearby before going there. I've had everything on the menu so it's up to the point where it depends on what I'm feeling. Everything on the menu is different so it's not too hard to choose. If I want something soupy, I'll go for the crab udon, if I want rice, the fried rice, something full of flavor, the Banh Mi Chao, something light, then the Banh Khot (good option since they don't make Banh Xeo on the weekends). The last time I went 07/04/2026, I noticed on the wall they were having a special, Bun Bo Hue, which I love when I go to pho restaurants. I'm not sure if it's new or I've been blind this whole time, but it did not disappoint. It was full of flavor, and it was nice that they put the spicy paste on the side for you to adjust the spiciness. I love spicy foods but one of my friends do not, so it was easy for us to enjoy our meal. It was also not just a spicy sauce to add; there was a past along with it. Shrimp paste maybe? I didn't ask, but it enhanced the flavor, so I recommend using it. Their sister restaurant, Me's Kitchen is next on my list to try. Can't wait!

An order of bánh khọt came with 7 pancakes and a side of veggies and fish sauce. The pancakes were really crispy, and they were delicious, especially wrapped with the veggies. I just wished they gave more lettuce or at least allowed refills. More veggies was an extra charge. The xôi thập cẩm and bánh mì chảo were also good. The cà phê dừa was blended so it was more smoothie-like. The sweet coconut balanced out the strong coffee. Overall, we had a great and filling lunch. The restaurant was modern, polished, and inviting.
