Wow one of the best Churros I've ever had!! We got their Campfire (two churros tossed in graham sugar with mexican chocolate sauce, toasted marshmallows with whipped cream) and added vanilla ice cream on top. My gosh it was so good! They were umbrellas as well so it's not too hot if you visit during the day. I saw some string lights, so the night ambience would be nice too. My favorite was the seasonal churro because it was pretty hot outside so the fruitiness tasted refreshing. Each order came with two churros and an order is enough to serve 1-2 people. I suggest picking different flavors and sharing amongst one another! Definitely get a scoop of vanilla ice cream on your churro, it's the perfect way to top off the dessert. I look to my left and here is a trailer calling my name "Jessica... Churro... Come eat me..." HIPPIE HALLOW- powdered sugar, peach and blackberry compote, basil whipped cream, and honey granola This is by far the greatest churro I have ever had. The presentation was beautiful and the churro itself had the nicest crisp skin. I love the fluffy insides. It had a slight sweetness, but more bland than sweet, which was perfect because the toppings added a deeper layer of flavor and fruitiness. The peach and blackberry compote was so rich and sweet, the whipped cream was light and fresh, and I love the crunchy texture of the granola. Everything was absolutely amazing!!! I'm officially hooked and now deem myself a churro fan. I've come to realize that it wasn't about not liking churros, it was more about not trying a good one and now that I have.. I'm in love!! I love the churros here, and as a visitor in Austin; I make sure that I stop by this place before heading out of Texas to my home. I have some concerns though most especially their business hours and contact number. There were 3 consecutive Sundays that I had to drive here to find out that the truck is closed. Business hours on their website and Yelp say they are open until 10PM on Sundays, but we arrived way before the closing time - 5PM and twice around 6PM. It was frustrating having to drive to Austin and their business is closed regardless of what was posted on their hours of operation. Tried calling them ahead, past noon, and the phone number says the line is either disconnected or not active. So I thought maybe they ran out of churros for the day? Or maybe a voice message when you call them that they closed early for some reason. But nothing. Or are these guys still in business? Or coming here on late afternoon on Sundays isn't a good idea? read more

A few days later, I tried the churro at Costco to settle my craving, but it was disgusting. CHURRO CO REALLY HAS SPRINKLED SOME MAGIC IN THEIR CHURROS!!! It was crispy, delicious, and to die for! The food truck's decor was SO cute -- I love the little lights. In their "backyard", they also have a lot of picnic tables and a lighted firepost for those winter nights. One order of specialty churros go for about $5 and it's money well spent. We got the Date Night, Wake-n-Bake, and Texas Comfort! OMG! Everyone of them was SO good and uniquely flavored. I was especially impressed by the popcorn sugar in Date Night's churros. The guys taking the orders were also really chill and cool. Even though we placed our orders past closing time and there were still several people lining up behind us, they happily took our orders and were super patient! Love this place! Took my cousin who was visiting Austin to Churro Co a while back. We got the comfort churros and the campfire. Everything was delicious. That Mexican iced chocolate was everything!!. I wish they did bigger sizes for their drinks I could've really used a large. I do have to say that their items are on the "a little bit too sweet" side so if you aren't into that you should probably just get the regular churros with cinnamon. It would be awesome if Churro Co would add vanilla Mexican ice cream into the mix instead of the regular vanilla. Also, there are different types of churros with filling that you can make. Would love to see them offer different options of Churro flavors and filled churros that way people who don't want to go crazy with toppings can still have options. read more

Visiting some family in town and had to try this spot! Love all things sweet and this definitely hit the spot. Cute little truck near downtown Austin that serves some scrumptious churros. The aren't too thick and are perfectly soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The toasted marshmallow was delicious on top, as well as the whipped cream. For $4.95 + tax you can't go wrong at all. You can even add a scoop of ice cream for a dollar! Didn't feel that adventurous this time around but would definitely try next time.
