Fun place... interesting variety of burgers from bison to a good veggie burger. Also has a mix of entrees from tuna or a decent quinoa salad and fun appetizers like a flaming cheese! Unfortunately they have ridiculous over the top shakes and cocktails that are too sweet but decent local beer selection. Gorgonzola fries are a good side but the sweet potato fries are so sad they are dusted with sugar!.. :( Service is hit or miss. I hate the family style booth vibe so prefer to sit up at the bar. Great first experience. I went to Cin Cin for a work lunch with a co-worker and was pleasantly surprised. The menu was adequately diverse and the prices were not overly pricy for the quality and amount of food you get. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to order because everything sounded soooo good! I ended up getting the bourbon burger. It was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. If you're a reader of my reviews, you know I'm extra hard on burgers because SO many places forget or do a horrible job of seasoning their beef. That is NOT the case here. Love the decor of this place. Totally old meets new and has the speak easy vibe that they're going for. My friend was craving a burger and based on reviews, we decided to try here. Had a great lunch, I ordered a lunch special of Thai chicken wrap with onion rings and my friend had a Hawaiian cowboy burger with fries. I loved all the different flavors of the wrap and how well they came together. The I room rings were a nice complement to the dish as well. My friend was really impressed with her burger too, it had balance and flavors she wouldn't think to try on a burger. Visited North Carolina to stay at my boyfriend's place for a bit and he kept saying that the first place he'd take me was this restaurant. The hype around the flapper fries and milkshakes were enough for me to get excited. There was a bit of a wait (packed place!) but got seated faster than expected. I got The Day After burger and it was pretty good, like every other burger at restaurants. The flapper fries though... they were so unique yet so good! I love fries and I'd say this was one of the best I've ever had. My boyfriend isn't a big fan of fries and typically has leftovers but he finished every single one of the flapper fries. After our meal, we HAD to try the milkshakes. I got the Frosted Party Animal and he got the Cookie Monster. His was good but mine was the better one. Beyond blown away by this place! Best food I've had in the area in a long time! Had a peach schnapps, strawberry mule which was AMAZING! For appetizer had the teriyaki stir fry pierogies which from originally being from Pittsburgh I was so happy to find this place! My meal was chicken tenders tossed in bourbon sauce! Sooo good!!! Unfortunately this was hands down the worst dining experience I've ever had. Not because of the food but because of the service and lack of care from the staff. My husband and I came in for an early dinner just before 4pm. The restaurant had some guests in it but it was not busy, at all. We were greeted by our waitress, only asked what we wanted to drink and she rushed off. Came back asked what we wanted to eat, I mentioned it was our first time dining there and that we'd need a min. She said ok and off she went. This was the first missed opportunity. I was shocked when she didn't even act like she cared we were there much less properly introducing herself and perhaps recommending something to us. So after our server (we never got her name) returned once more and we were still deciding she rushed off again annoyed that we actually wanted to read the menu and decide what we wanted. We then decided on three different items to share and gave her our order. Mind you... I never saw her once go to another table the entire duration of our visit. She put our order in and that's the last time we saw her until our food came out. When she dropped off our food, I asked to order a milkshake. We were enjoying our food, she came back to check on us once, and that's the last we saw of her. We were eating noticing a manager rushing by us multiple time, I think I counted ten times, my husbands drink remained empty for at least 15 min until the hostess noticed we were looking around, asked if we were ok and I told her my husbands drink has been empty for 15 min. She apologized went back, got him a drink and filled my water. At this time, we still hadn't received our milkshake and hadn't seen our server. It had been 20 min and she popped her head around the corner and said 'oh you never got your shake?' I told her we hadn't and that we no longer wanted it. She went and got it anyways and said the manager comped it. When she dropped it off she said that it was a TWENTY FIVE MINUTE ticket for a MILKSHAKE. SERIOUSLY?!? The manager came by the table and pathetically 'apologized' I told her I'd been in the service industry for nine years as a server and that this type of treatment of guests was not acceptable and that we would not be returning. She then gave an excuse their back of house was slammed and there was a lot going on. To which I responded that the restaurant was indeed NOT busy. The manager said she was going to give us a gift card because she wanted us to return, we told her we didn't want it and gave it anyways. Came back and I once again told her how frustrated I was and that we would not be back. The only thing on our check that was comped was our milkshake. And she would not let us use the gift card for the meal. So we wasted $30 on three small appetizers to be treated like we were a complete inconvenience by the manager and the server. I have never in my life been treated so poorly at a business and made to feel like I was not valued. Our server never apologized just paced by our table until we paid our check. I will never return to Cin Cin. I won't waste money at a restaurant with such low service standards. The only good part of our visit was the kind hostess and the Mac n cheese. Not enough to be return customers. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

The tuna was very good and I would recommend getting at least 2 if you have 3 people because the portion of tuna is very small. I had the southern burger which came with chili, Cole slaw and American cheese and mustard on a medium rare burger. The burger is a mix of angus chuck, short ribs and brisket, amazing! The bun was soft and the burger was good. The chili was meh. Their flapper fries were slightly crispy and delicious. Pretty good portion of them. So here's where things took a turn. We were barely into our burgers when the server came to ask if we were going to split the bill or put it on one bill. We said we would split it. She came back 2 minutes later with our checkbooks and left them on a table next to us. She never offered us dessert, we had talked about getting one of their cool shakes, or even brought my friend anything for her birthday. We would've gladly paid for it too! We don't expect anything for free but it was very disappointing to feel rushed during our meal and for my friend who chose this restaurant for her birthday dinner, to not even get a single thing for her birthday. The dessert shakes are likewise excellent. The alcoholic drinks are okay. A little small for the price, maybe, but not bad when there are specials. Such a great experience! Our waitress, Joy, made our first visit here...well, joyful! She explained the whole menu to us and suggested her favorite items, she was so engaging with our young son, paced our meal perfectly, and was the best server we've had at a restaurant in a LONG time. This is on our go to list when we are in Winston-Salem. The food here is fantastic! We have had their burgers, salads, pretzel sticks, sandwiches, and of course their shakes. You have to save room for their decadent shakes. I was a little disappointed the last time we went bc my Key Lime Shake, which tasted just like a slice of key lime pie, was more whipped cream then milk shake. I definitely recommend this place. The ambiance is fun, there is tons of seating inside and outside. The staff is always friendly and helpful when we go. Parking can be a little tricky due to their small parking lot so be prepared. read more

Nice bread/bun selection of rye, sourdough, brioche etc. I had the juicy joint with the best and generous amount of truly caramelized onions with gruyere....scrumptious!. I'm a little embarrassed this is Yelp's #1 restaurant near my house. I eat out all the time. I eat burgers all the time. I drink beer all the time. And depsite the fact I really wanna cheer for this place, I can't find any reason to. I've been a couple times but probably won't be back. For a "burger bar" their menu is so unfocused, and it shows through in their unremarkable, falling-apart burgers. It's spelled Cin Cin, but pronounced "Chin Chin" because it's an Italian saying. And nothing screams Italian like a burger bar, right? With a prohibition theme. And milkshakes. And casino-esque carpet. And poor service. There's no singular theme in this place other that mediocrity. This restaurant is a sham. It's basically a gilded T.G.I.Fridays that's way too expensive. read more
