Great food will always come back . The drinks were great too . It rained a little but didn't stop anyone from enjoying the outside with all the umbrellas ready to go

Not only a beautiful setting on the river, but the cuisine and servers were fantastic. No matter what you order, get a side of fries! I had the root salad and it was delightful. And the cocktails- super good.

What a wonderful dinner we enjoyed at Cinder. Location on the river with a beautiful outdoor setting. Service was excellent. Food, delicious. The special was burnt ends to substitute anything on the menu. They were smoked perfectly. What a joy

Stopped for an early dinner, we sat outside right by the river and it was beautiful. The patio and outside area are gorgeous. The burnt ends fried rice was delicious, smoky, sweet and the right amount of spice! The naan tacos were also delicious with fresh naan bread. The Moscow mule was really good, the patio is dog friendly also! Our waitress was friendly and helpful!

Cinder is a great stop in Westerly. We came in for a light dinner, admittedly I wasn't even hungry, but when I saw jalapeño cheddar corn bread on the menu (which was amazing by the way) I knew I had to make room. I got the summer salad which was fresh and vibrant, I loved the creamy dressing it came with. The real winner for me was my husband's fried rice, I couldn't stop picking at it the entire time we were there. Delicious, not too greasy, fresh pineapple. Really really good. The restaurant itself is very modern and new feeling, service was very quick but the place isn't huge. They had a really nice outdoor patio that would be great in the warmer summer days.

We actually dined at Cinder in July, but our experience was so wonderful I thought I'd share it here. First off, the lively yet laidback vibe of the place makes for a nice culinary experience. The exceptional food quality and diverse offerings stand out among most restaurants in the area. My husband is still raving about the burnt ends. He had them added to his salad. He liked them so much that we plan to visit again in the near future even though the restaurant is 45 minutes away! Our lovely waitress shared recommendations and delivered our food and drinks promptly. We will definitely be coming back!

What a beautiful place to eat! I ordered here 2x and i was never disappointed! They do tacos in naan bread which is really cool and the food always taste so fresh and flavorful. Living in NY.... I sometimes wish there was one closer by me! They have a variety of food on their menu and all are so healthy without the feel of "healthy". Would definitely recommend. They also do specials which is cool!

I actually expected it to be really busy when we got there around 10:45, but there were quite a few open tables. They sat us in a queue table right in the window near the water. I couldn't decide what to get because everything looks so good. I ended up with the Patatas Brava which had soupy in it. I haven't had soup in years and they made it really stand out with the home fries, eggs, and crema. My wife had the basic breakfast, and everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. We ordered an apple crêpe for the table that had caramel and toasted almonds on it. The staff was also great. We had one waitress, but a second one was always there to check on us. The service gets five stars for sure! I wish we had a place like this near our house. It's right on the line of Westerly Rhode Island so we were able to walk around downtown Westerly which was really nice.

The staff was extremely friendly, especially our outside bartender Gabrielle, who was fantastic, so personable and creative with her drinks. Honestly, the drinks and her service were the best part of our experience. We started with the lobster wraps, which were good, but the tarragon and dill were very strong and overpowered the lobster. Next we had the scallops for $38, which I didn't feel were worth the price about 12 small scallops with a bit of lettuce. They were cooked well, corn sauce was nice but nothing particularly special, and I would've ordered differently knowing what I was getting. We were still hungry, so we got the rigatoni, which was delicious. My only note was again the heavy use of fresh dill, which started to overpower an otherwise great dish. Overall, I would absolutely come back for the location, the great staff, and especially Gabrielle. I'd return for drinks and try different menu items next time.

We affectionately termed these "discount meat nights." The Cafe's $10 burger and fries on Monday nights is easily the best Discount Meat Night deal around in 2026. Took a while to arrive. The pork belly was exquisitely rendered with beautifully charred skin and tender meat. Lobster roll served warm was very good, the lobster was a little overcooked but still a highlight. Buttermilk Fried Chicken had super crisp skin and was executed and presented perfectly, great tasting together with the accompanied pickled vegetables and hot-honey butter. The best dish of the night. Sticky toffee pudding was as good as advertised: sticky, textured, with interesting mouthfeel offset by lightly whipped cream. Tequila based El Mariachi was tasty and balanced but not memorable.
